They Deserve It: WWE Hypes Several Records Broken At Elimination Chamber

They did well. WWE normally runs a premium live event a month on average, many of which have been running for a very long time now. It makes for quite the tradition as you know what you are going to get most of the time, which can help build up the anticipation. That was the situation over the weekend and now it seems that WWE has done rather well with its annual event.

Over the weekend, WWE presented its annual Elimination Chamber event, featuring a pair of the show’s namesake matches and Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Sami Zayn. WWE has announced that the show is both the highest grossing and most viewed Elimination Chamber in history. The show also broke the record for the largest gate ever for a WWE event in the city of Montreal.

Opinion: That is the kind of show that WWE should brag about, as not only did it advance some of the biggest storylines towards WrestleMania, but it was also quite the quality show in the process. We had a good show and that is all you can ask for given the circumstances. WWE is on a roll going into WrestleMania and this was the final big launching point down the Road, so hopefully they can keep up this kind of momentum.
