AEW’s Max Caster Rips Crown Jewel With Photoshopped Tweet

October 23, 2021 • Admin

The shots continue. This week, WWE presented its latest Saudi Arabia event, which included one of the most stacked cards in a very long time. However, as is the case with every Saudi Arabia show, there are certain problems hanging over the show, as Saudi Arabia’s human rights issues will be brought up every time. Now another wrestling promotion’s star is taking a shot at WWE as a result. During Crown Jewel, a fan held up a sign was held up saying “All My Homies Love Adam Pacitii” of Cultaholic, with Pachitti tweeting out a photo of the sign saying “I’ll take ‘things I didn’t expect to see on a WWE Saudi Arabia show’ for 500, Alex. Thank you!”. AEW’s Max Caster responded to the tweet with a Photoshopped version, with the sign saying “All My Homies Love The Acclaimed”, with the caption of “I’ll take “Things I Didn’t Expect to See on a Blood Money Show,” for $500, Alex!”. Caster has taken various shots at WWE and NXT in his raps before. I'll take 'things I didn't expect to..

Eva Marie Is Missing From WWE For A Special Reason

October 22, 2021 • Admin

That’s your explanation. Wrestlers are some of the more versatile performers that you will see in any form of entertainment. In addition to all of the athleticism that comes to wrestling a match, wrestlers have to make fans believe in what they are presenting. That is rather complicated and hard to pull off, and it would make sense to have wrestlers get attention for their efforts. Now it seems to be paying off for a wrestler as a result. Back on the September 27 edition of Monday Night Raw, Shayna Baszler attacked Eva Marie, stomping her arm on the ring steps. Eva Marie has not been seen since, and there is no word on when she will be back on WWE television. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Eva Marie is off filming a movie and the injury was used to write her off of television. This is also why she was not drafted to either show during the WWE Draft. Eva Marie certainly has a place in WWE. Check out the beatdown, plus some of her better time in the company: [This pos..

Impact Wrestling Results – October 21, 2021

October 22, 2021 • Admin

Impact Wrestling Date: October 21, 2021 Location: Skyway Studios, Nashville, Tennessee Commentators: Josh Matthews, D’Lo Brown It’s the go home show for Bound For Glory and the card is set. That could leave a few different directions to choose this week and I’m curious to see where things are going to go. The good thing is that Impact has earned the benefit of the doubt over….dang a year plus or so? Let’s get to it. Opening recap. Opening sequence. Bullet Club vs. FinJuice For the Bound For Glory Tag Team Title shot and that would be Chris Bey/Hikuleo for the Club. Finlay starts with Hikuleo with the big man knocking Finlay down without much effort. It’s already off to Robinson, who backsplashes Bey for a fast two. Robinson knocks Bey off the top and a double bulldog drops Hikuleo for two. Finlay gets knocked down though and it’s Bey coming in with a springboard rake to the back. The chinlock goes on but Finlay gets up and, with Bey holding a leg, hops over for the tag to Robinson..

WWE Made Two Confusing Changes To Crown Jewel Main Event

October 22, 2021 • Admin

What could have been. There are all kinds of ways to make a match more interesting, with one of the easiest ways being to add a stipulation. This could be anything as there are so many possibilities to make things better. Some of them are a lot more common than others, while some are very simple as well. That was almost the case this week, but then things changed. The main event of this week’s WWE Crown Jewel event saw Universal Champion Roman Reigns defending his title against Brock Lesnar. Prior to the show, WWE announced that the match would be no disqualification. However, during the Kickoff Show, another announcement was made saying that neither of them had any interest in the change, so it was dropped as a result. There is no word on why WWE announced the change and then reversed course. No disqualification matches can work rather well. Check out what almost happened: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains vi..

VIDEO: The Former IIConics Release New Music Video

October 22, 2021 • Admin

That’s one way to keep things going. One of the biggest stories in wrestling this year has been the massive amount of WWE roster changes. Several wrestlers have been released from the company, many of whom were quite the surprise. This has led to fallout in the form of wrestlers signing elsewhere, and now two such wrestlers are doing something fairly unique. The IInspiration, formerly known as the IIconics, have released a new music video, featuring the two of them in a song, also called The IInspiration, by Harley Cameron. The song features the two of them singing and dancing with Cameron along with some male background dancers. This comes soon after the two announced their signing with Impact Wrestling, where they will challenge for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles at Bound For Glory on October 23. It’s certainly different. Backstage Reaction To WWE Crown Jewel, When WWE Is Returning To Saudi Arabia

October 22, 2021 • Admin

That’s good to hear. There are all kinds of WWE events on the schedule every year and some of them are a lot bigger than others. What matters most though is the execution, as any show can be done well enough to make it interesting. If things go perfectly well on the bigger stage though, everyone tends to be a lot happier. That is the case again this week, as WWE had some success. According to PWInsider.com, the backstage reaction to this week’s WWE Crown Jewel was positive, with the feeling being that it was one of the best shows the company has produced in the last year. In addition, the company is expecting to return to Saudi Arabia for another event in the first quarter of 2022, but there is no word on an exact date. Prior to the Coronavirus, WWE has run shows in the country in either February or April. The show did have its moments. Becky Lynch Breaks Character After WWE Crown Jewel To Say Thank You

October 22, 2021 • Admin

It’s a special moment. Wrestlers are in a unique place when it comes to maintaining characters. All other kinds of actors are able to turn things off once a production wraps and go back to being themselves, but that is certainly not the case with wrestlers (at least in theory). It is rare that you do not see them in character, but that was the case again this week after an important night. This week’s WWE Crown Jewel event featured a SmackDown Women’s Title match with Becky Lynch successfully defending against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. Following the event, Lynch posted a message to Instagram, saying that she would be dropping the trash talk for one night. Lynch thanked her opponents, the fans and the people who came before them to pave the way. She also congratulated Zelina Vega on winning the first Queen’s Crown tournament and to TJ Wilson for helping put the match together. Lynch said that she would be back to her usual self tomorrow, but wanted to say thank you for the night. ..

VIDEO: WWE Crowns Two New Royals Plus Fallout From Both

October 22, 2021 • Admin

Polish those crowns. Tournaments are one of the easiest concepts in all of wrestling because they are not that complicated. You take some wrestlers and put them into a bracket, with the last one standing winning some kind of a prize. Some wrestling tournaments have quite the history, and now two more of them have a new winner to behold. WWE held two tournament finals at Crown Jewel this week. First, Zelina Vega defeated Doudrop to win the first ever Queen’s Crown tournament. The tournament featured eight women and was WWE’s first attempt at a women’s tournament for a crown. Later in the show, Xavier Woods defeated Finn Balor to become the new King of the Ring. The tournament was most recently held in 2019 and has been held on and off since 1985. They were both big. Update On Brock Lesnar’s Upcoming WWE Status And Schedule

October 22, 2021 • Admin

That’s a fast turnaround. This week, WWE presented its latest event from Saudi Arabian with Crown Jewel. The show was one of the biggest shows that WWE presented this year and it featured one heck of a stacked card. With the show now out of the way, it is time to start dealing with the event’s fallout. It turns out that we may be seeing it sooner than we thought. The main event of WWE Crown Jewel saw Roman Reigns defeat Brock Lesnar to retain the Universal Title, albeit with an assist from the Usos and a title belt shot. Following the event, Lesnar said that “the moment I arrive at SmackDown, I will beat Roman Reigns senseless.” While not confirmed, this would suggest that Lesnar will appear on this Friday’s SmackDown from Wichita, Kansas. When @BrockLesnar was leaving Saudi Arabia, Brock was quoted saying, “The moment I arrive at SmackDown, I will beat Roman Reigns senseless.” ? #WWECrownJewel pic.twitter.com/Mu9YQlVDw7 — WWE (@WWE) October 21, 2021 Lesnar can do some damage whe..

Here’s What Crown Jewel Means For The WrestleMania 38 Main Event

October 22, 2021 • Admin

That’s a big way to go. We are now done with WWE Crown Jewel and that means we are on the way to the final major shows of the year. That means it is time to start setting things up, because there are a lot of important details that need to be set. With one of the biggest shows out of the year out of the way, it is time to start getting ready for WrestleMania. We just might already have a main event penciled in. The main event of Crown Jewel saw Roman Reigns retain the Universal Title over Brock Lesnar with an assist from the Usos and a title belt shot. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the match was designed to be just another step in the story. Since the Rock is not expected to be in action at WrestleMania 38, the main event is likely to be Reigns vs. Lesnar again. The two have met at both WrestleMania 31 and WrestleMania 35. It is a big match. Check out Reigns and Lesnar in action: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This p..

WWE’s Bianca Belair Top Special First Time Ever List

October 22, 2021 • Admin

That is quite the honor. WWE women’s wrestling has come a long way in the last few years and a lot of that is due to the Women’s Revolution. After years of being treated as little more than a sideshow, women’s wrestling has become mainstream in the industry, with several female wrestlers becoming top stars in the company. Now one of the bigger names is getting some special recognition. Pro Wrestling Illustrated has announced the top five names in their annual PWI Women’s 150. The list was topped by WWE’s Bianca Belair, who won the SmackDown Women’s Title in the main event of the first night of WrestleMania 37 and held the title until Summerslam. Here is the top five: 1. Bianca Belair 2. Utami Hayashishita 3. Deonna Purrazzo 4. Britt Baker 5. Thunder Rosa The list covers the span of time from October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2021 and is based on the following criteria: • In-Ring Achievement (championships, tournaments, win-loss record) • Influence (in one’s home promotion and the ind..

NXT UK Results – October 21, 2021

October 22, 2021 • Admin

NXT UK Date: October 21, 2021 Location: BT Sport Studios, London, England Commentators: Andy Shepherd, Nigel McGuinness The fans came back last week and saw a classic with Ilja Dragunov successfully defending the United Kingdom Title against A-Kid. It did feel like something was changing around here and that is quite the upgrade as it just makes the show feel that much bigger. Hopefully they do that again this week so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Xia Brookside vs. Aleah James Brookside cranks on the arm to start but neither can get very far. A headlock takeover puts James down but she reverses into a headscissors to keep Brookside in trouble. That’s finally reversed and it’s a seated abdominal stretch to put James in trouble. Back up and James fires off some kicks, only to get taken down with a running neckbreaker. The Iconoclasm is loaded up but James kicks her away and grabs a sunset flip for the pin at 4:17. Result: Aleah James b. Xia Brookside – Sunset flip (4:17) Post m..

Crown Jewel 2021 Live Coverage And Results

October 21, 2021 • Admin

Crown Jewel 2021 Date: October 21, 2021 Location: Mohammed Abdu Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Commentators: Byron Saxton, Corey Graves, Michael Cole After a year and a half away, WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia and the show is actually looking huge. For the first time in a very long while, we are seeing what looks to be a massive show with a lot going on. The main event is Roman Reigns defending the Universal Title against Brock Lesnar and that should be enough to carry just about anything. Let’s get to it. Kickoff Show: Usos vs. Shelton Benjamin/Cedric Alexander Non-title and the fans are WAY behind the Usos to start. Jey and Alexander start things off with Jey grabbing a belly to back suplex for two. It’s off to Shelton, who powers Jey into the corner and then hands it straight back to Alexander for a knee to the face. The arm work begins, including a shoulder breaker on Jey, setting up an armbar. A superplex sends Jey crashing down for two and it’s back to Alexander for a Tequila S..

Health Update On NXT’s Jacy Jayne After Scary Crash

October 21, 2021 • Admin

That could have been worse. Injuries are the kind of thing that can happen to anyone at any time and their impact can be devastating. You never know how bad something might be at the time, but luckily they often look worse than they actually are. That doesn’t make them any less scary at the time, which seems to be the case again with a recent scary situation. This week’s NXT featured a triple threat match between Io Shirai, Persia Pirotta and Jacy Jayne. During the match, Jayne attempted a suicide dive but landed face first on the floor, forcing her out of the match. According to Wrestling Observer Live, Jayne underwent a full CT scan and did not suffer a concussion. She is currently still advertised for a triple threat tag team ladder match at Halloween Havoc next week. Jayne can be effective when she stays in the ring. AEW’s Britt Baker Being Recruited By Another Company’s Champion

October 21, 2021 • Admin

Put her on the wait list? AEW has come a long way in a relatively short amount of time and most of that is due to their roster. The company has been very successful due to the mixture of talent that they have assembled, which continues to grow week by week. A lot of wrestlers want to be part of the company, but this time someone wants to borrow one of its top wrestlers. In a new interview with Fightful, Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo said that she wants to team with AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker to challenge for the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Titles. Purrazzo mentioned that she had spoken to Impact Wrestling and AEW executives Scott D’Amore and Tony Khan about making this happen. AEW regularly works with Impact Wrestling, including AEW’s Christian Cage, who is the reigning Impact Wrestling World Champion. This could work. Check out the two of them in action and a match the two have had before: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post co..

PHOTOS: Karrion Kross Completely Changes His Look (And It Helps)

October 21, 2021 • Admin

That’s different. The look is one of the most important aspects to a wrestler’s success. Ultimately, wrestling is a visual medium and the wrestlers need to make the fans want to watch. Whether it is in the arena or when someone is flipping through the channels, the idea is to make the fans pay attention. Now a WWE star is attempting to do that in another way. Karrion Kross has tweeted out some photos showing him with a new look, including hair, a white shirt and black pants, along with another of him in a suit. This comes after rumors of Kross being repackaged into a “calm and cool” “psycho”. Of note, Kross’ fiance Scarlett Bordeaux is in one of the photos with him, though she has yet to debut with him on the main roster. “Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.” ? @iLLiteFotos pic.twitter.com/J8cZIjLeVf — Karrion Kross (@WWEKarrionKross) October 19, 2021 pic.twitter.com/AUSyMII0..

KB’s Review: Friday Night Highlights

October 21, 2021 • Admin

This week is a mixture of two fairly opposite things. First of all, I was out for my walk tonight with my music on and the theme from Friday Night Lights came on (excellent show if you’ve never seen it). That got me thinking about last Friday, when AEW and WWE went head to head (or at least close enough to it), giving us a bit of the old Monday Night Wars (on Friday, minus the war) vibe. At the same time, my wife’s *CENSORED*th birthday is this coming Saturday, which had me thinking about the things that have happened over the course of her life. Since I can’t go that long without thinking about wrestling, I started to combine the two ideas and started wondering something: how many fans have never seen WWE with anything close to wrestling competition before? I’m thirty three years old and the Monday Night Wars began when I was seven. Now given that I have yet to miss an episode of Monday Night Raw and never missed an episode of Monday Nitro, I remember the Monday Night Wars fairly we..

VIDEO: Sasha Banks Issues A Challenge For A Dream Match (And It Might Happen)

October 21, 2021 • Admin

I’d call it a dream match. The WWE Women’s Revolution has changed the way women’s wrestling works in a very good way. After so many years of having nothing to do, women were suddenly involved in long matches which were being treated as big deals. That was unthinkable not too long before but it has since become a reality. Now someone is planting the seeds for another huge match. Sasha Banks appeared on this week’s edition of the Bump and called out WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. The two faced off in the 2018 Royal Rumble, with Stratus mocking Belair’s signature dance before Banks eliminated her. While Stratus has announced her retirement from wrestling, she has said that she and Banks have unfinished business. There is currently no word on Stratus returning for a potential match. This could be quite the showdown. Check out the challenge, their faceoff in the Royal Rumble plus some of their bests: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] ..

WWE Crown Jewel 2021 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts

October 21, 2021 • Admin

We are on the way to Crown Jewel and this time around that means we are going to be seeing quite the stacked card. There are some rather big matches set for the show and this time around, something might actually happen. For once it feels like a major show that just happens to be taking place in Saudi Arabia, which has certainly not been the case for most of the shows over there. Let’s get to it. Kickoff Show: Usos vs. Cedric Alexander/Shelton Benjamin Are they still the Hurt Business? Anyway, this was added the day before the show as a way to give us something to get the crowd going. That should be enough to warm up the crowd, though you never know what this kind of crowd is going to be at these things. If nothing else, this is a way to have the Usos around for the main event, as Roman Reigns might need some bodies to throw at Brock Lesnar. These guys are good: [This post contains video, click to play] I’ll go with the Usos winning here, as they are one of the best WWE teams in a ..

VIDEO: Undertaker In Saudi Arabia Before WWE Crown Jewel

October 21, 2021 • Admin

That would be a surprise. WWE is currently in Saudi Arabia for this year’s Crown Jewel event. The show will be one of the biggest on WWE’s calendar and features one heck of a card. That should make for something very interesting and we could be in for quite the day. It can be fun to see who is going to show up and now we know someone else who will be around at the same time. Photos and videos have circulated online of Undertaker appearing in Saudi Arabia this week, as he introduced Pitbull for a concert. Undertaker wore his ring gear for the appearance, though there is nothing to suggest that he will be appearing WWE Crown Jewel. The concert is part of the opening of Riyadh Season, a months long collection of concerts and other events, including Crown Jewel.
