In recent years titles have become a lot more common though with all kinds of championships being added to the available options. So who has the most of them? WWE has released a new episode of List This looking at 5 Superstars with the Most Championships. The list mainly consists of more modern wrestlers, mainly due to the amount of titles being added in recent years. Of the five wrestlers listed, none of them are full time anymore though three of them are still semi-active. The Hardcore Title is specifically not included in this list. There’s a lot of gold in there. [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: There’s something to be said about a great title win and the more you think about it, the more impress..

Mark Henry Tells A Crazy Story About Ronda Rousey

•

She’s hardcore. There are very few things in athletics harder than winning an Olympic medal. It takes several years of dedication and training, as the competition is literally the best in the world. A few of them have made the move over to professional wrestling, including Ronda Rousey. That same toughness that helped earn her an Olympic medal in judo has helped her in other areas, as a new story explains. Mark Henry was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio and told a story about Rousey undergoing treatment for an injury that involved having stem cells injected. Henry had undergone the same procedure and upon waking up, begged to be put back to sleep to avoid the pain. Rousey underwent the procedure while awake without anesthesia, which was enough for Henry to see her as one of the toughest people in the world. Here is Henry’s version of the story, with transcription courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com: “Maybe it’s not for me to tell this story, but I’ll let the cat out the bag. I heard, b..

Rumor: Is There Backstage Heat On The Usos?

•

It’s not easy being great. The Usos have kind of quietly turned into one of the best tag teams the WWE has ever had. They’ve won five Tag Team Titles and always seem to be right on the brink of getting them again, no matter what they’re doing. Having a good catchphrase and great charisma has helped them as well, but it turns out some people might not be happy with them. According to Brad Shepard on his Oh. You Didn’t Know podcast, there is a chance that the Usos have backstage heat in WWE. The team is almost always on the Kickoff Show yet continue to have high quality performances against almost anyone. Shepard’s source didn’t confirm that there was heat, but also didn’t deny it when Shepard brought the topic up in the first place. Here’s their latest effort on a Kickoff Show: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: I’m really not sure on this one. For one thing, the Usos were just the captains of the SmackDown Live Survivor Series team and one of the two teams that see..

A Fan Made A Rather Disparaging Sign About Nia Jax And Another Raw Superstar Liked It

•

A different kind of office drama. Earlier this month, Nia Jax made headlines by knocking Becky Lynch into the middle of next week with a right hand that not only broke a bone in Lynch’s face but also gave her a concussion which put her on the shelf for the foreseeable future. This hasn’t been the most well received action in the world (to put it mildly) and one of Jax’s co-workers seems to agree. According to Ringsidenews.com, a fan recently brought a sign to Monday Night Raw which took a severe shot at Jax, saying that she was being booed because she was horrible, not because of her superior heel work. A photo of the sign appeared on Twitter, which was apparently liked by Sasha Banks. You can see the tweet below and here is what the sign said: “Nia! I feel compelled to stress that we are not booing because of your effective heel work! We are booing because you are simply awful!” Good morning. pic.twitter.com/UnPXHTGm1O — Danny (@dajosc11) November 20, 2018 They do have some histo..

Update On The Main Roster Plans For Lars Sullivan

•

The monster among us. On Sunday at Survivor Series, a video aired showing that Lars Sullivan was coming up to the main roster from NXT. It wasn’t clear whether Sullivan would be appearing on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live, though either way it was obvious that he was going to wreck havoc. Now, we might know just how much havoc that might include. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sullivan is in line for a big push when he reaches the main roster. At the moment, it isn’t known which brand Sullivan will appear on or who he will be feuding with first, but he was pushed as a nearly unstoppable monster in NXT and a similar push should be expected on the main roster. Sullivan is scheduled to face Keith Lee on this week’s NXT in what could be his last match on the brand. That monster is scary. [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: Sullivan may not be one of a kind, but he’s a few of a kind at worst. He’s got an incredible look and is crazy strong, bu..

We Might Know Who Brock Lesnar Is Facing At WrestleMania 35

Burning down the Beast. Brock Lesnar is the most dominant Universal Champion in the title’s short history. There’s only so much that can be done against him, as he’s a nearly unstoppable monster with almost no weaknesses to his game. Only Roman Reigns has been able to do much against him most of the time and that brings up the question of who could stop him. Well now we have a possible idea. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plans are for Lesnar to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35 with a story coming together based off of Reigns battling leukemia. WWE Doesn’t Have Return Date For Becky Lynch Yet

After suffering a legitimate injury at the hands of Nia Jax, Becky Lynch finds herself in a very interesting position. The Lass Kicker’s momentum is thriving and the image of her bloody face in front of a roaring WWE Universe has her on the verge of something huge with the company. However, everyone is still waiting on Becky’s return to SmackDown. According to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE officials still don’t have the return date for the SmackDown Women’s Champion. The company takes concussions as seriously as possible, which leaves Becky Lynch on the sidelines indefinitely. That gives them additional issues heading into TLC if Lynch isn’t cleared over the next few weeks. Related: Backstage News Regarding Becky Lynch’s Potential Babyface Turn For instance, The Lass Kicker hasn’t defended her championship since WWE Evolution back in October. KB’s Review: The NXT Three

•

Last weekend, WWE presented one of its biggest shows of the year with Survivor Series. Your interest in the show may vary, but there is no denying how big of an event the show is. For me though, I’m rather sick of talking about the thing so instead we’re going to go down a level in the hierarchy but up a good bit in quality with a look at the best show of the weekend, and one of the best shows of the entire year, with a closer look at NXT Takeover: WarGames II. The show wasn’t exactly huge on the surface with only four advertised matches (though we did get a bonus match) but there were some people who stood out to me on the card and are worthy of some extra attention. I’ve done something like this before but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve more appreciation as the talent on the show really is that good. Today we’re going to look at three people, who are kind of in a past, present and future lineup. That’s a bit of a stretch but it sounds a little bit better than “you’re awesome a..

NXT UK Date: November 21, 2018 Location: NEC Arena, Birmingham, England Commentators: Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness It’s time for another double shot as we continue to try and get through all the old tapings, even though there’s another taping scheduled for this weekend. This week’s show will focus on the NXT UK Women’s Title Tournament, with the first round wrapping up to get us down to the final four. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. NXT UK Women’s Title Tournament First Round: Xia Brookside vs. Rhea Ripley Ripley throws her down by the face to start so Xia tries to grapple her down as well. The hurricanrana is countered into a buckle bomb though as the much smaller Brookside can’t do much with the much bigger Ripley. A delayed suplex and a dropkick to the back of the head give Ripley two and it’s off to a standing Texas Cloverleaf. Brookside fights up and snaps off a headscissors before going up top. The high crossbody is countered into the Riptide to give Ripley the pin at 5:14..

That’s A Big Step. Rumored Independent Wrestling Promotion Registers Trademarks, Including Company Name

•

You mean the denials might have been fake? A few weeks back, rumors began to swirl that Chris Jericho and Jim Ross might be starting a wrestling promotion. Both denied the claims, but it’s not that easy to trust wrestling people. At the same time, there have been rumors that the Elite (Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks) may be starting their own promotion. As it turns out, there seems to be something to that. According to Ringsidenews.com, a number of trademarks have been registered recently by a group known as All Elite Wrestling LLC. These were all filed in Jacksonville, Florida, with the address matching that of the home stadium of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team. This would suggest that the group is tied in with Tony Khan, the Jaguars owner, who was rumored to be the backer of Ross and Jericho’s promotion. There is currently no word on Jericho and Ross being involved, though they could be involved as talent. Here are the trademarks that were registered: • All Elite Wrestling • AL..
