Welcome back. With so many talents on its roster, it can be difficult for AEW to find something for everyone to do. That can make for some complicated situations and occasionally a wrestler will be on the sidelines for one reason or another. An injury can make that even more of a problem, but now a missing star is back and he has vengeance on his mind.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Title Change Takes Place On AEW Dynamite

The main event of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw Samoa Joe defeat Darby Allin to regain the TNT Title. Following the match, Wardlow returned from a month long absence and attacked Joe, who managed to escape before Wardlow could powerbomb him. This was Wardlow’s first appearance since Joe defeated him in a TNT Title match on the December 28 edition of Dynamite. Joe also cut Wardlow’s hair after the match.

Wardlow is a different kind of beast. Check out what is back and coming for Joe:

Opinion: Wardlow’s return was a question of when rather than if, as you knew he was going to come back and go after Joe for what happened. I’m sure this is going to lead to a heck of a fight, likely in a little over a month at Revolution. The good thing is that Wardlow is back and seems ready to go. What matters now is trying to find some of that magic that made him one of the biggest AEW stars of 2022.
