Backstage Heat On Nia Jax For Injuring Becky Lynch, Chris Jericho Comments

It doesn’t look good either way. Earlier this week, Becky Lynch was ruled out of Sunday’s Survivor Series due to a broken bone in her face and a concussion, both of which were suffered on Monday Night Raw. On Monday’s show, Nia Jax punched Lynch in the face during a brawling segment, injuring her to the point where she had to go on the shelf. It was pretty clear that backlash was coming and it’s hitting Jax from two directions. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is backstage heat on Jax due to the injury. In this case, the heat is worse because this isn’t the first time that Jax has injured someone, including both Zelina Vega and Alexa Bliss. At the same time, Chris Jericho mentioned the situation on a recent episode of his Talk Is Jericho podcast. Jericho discussed the situation and thought the punch was even worse than previously described. They have to fill them in. With such a short turnaround between Crown Jewel and Survivor Series, there wasn’t a lot of time to set up the latter show. That’s quite the problem with a show that is built around elimination matches and that’s exactly what we have with Survivor Series. The matches had to be thrown together in a hurry and that’s what happened this week. Follow the….wait where is he? Bray Wyatt is one of the most interesting wrestlers in a long time. He comes from a major wrestling family and has had some success on the roster, including winning the WWE Championship. However, he’s been up and down in the last year and a half, to the point where his best results were a Tag Team Title reign with Matt Hardy. Now he hasn’t been on television in a long time, and now we might know why. According to Mike Johnson on PW Insider Elite, there are no reports of Wyatt being injured, but rather WWE is leaving him off television for the sake of letting the fans miss him for a little while. Their latest shows have been in England, with Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live taking place in Manchester. This weekend will see the wrestlers return back home, but there was one last thing to do before the stop in England was over. While Angle was defeated in the main event by Drew McIntyre, it came after a hard fought effort at the end of a long show. That’s one way to solve things. Last month, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose became the Raw Tag Team Champions again in a very good match against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. The celebration was short lived though as Ambrose turned on Rollins, leaving several questions to be answered. One of these was the state of the titles, and now we have an answer. This week on Monday Night Raw, Rollins lost the titles to AOP in a handicap match, as ordered by acting General Manager Baron Corbin. Ambrose ran in and attacked Rollins after the match was over. This marks the first title reign for the AOP, who are currently scheduled to face SmackDown Tag Team Champions the Bar in a champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series. While no titles are likely to be on the line, a lot of these matches might seem like they’re not as important as others. Opinion: Vince McMahon Doesn’t Believe Anyone On Raw Can Be The Face Of The Brand

Last Friday at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view, history was made as Brock Lesnar once again captured the Universal Championship. This was after the unfortunate and tragic news that Roman Reigns had to surrender the championship, due to the return of leukemia that was put into remission over 10 years ago. However, Lesnar didn’t just defeat Strowman; he basically squashed him. After acting General Manager Baron Corbin blasted Strowman in the back of the head with the title, The Beast would proceed to give The Monster four F-5s to secure the title. Naturally, the internet did not respond kindly to this and couldn’t believe that Vince McMahon would once again put the title back on a part-timer, which has been the case for the almost year-and-a-half that Lesnar has been champion.
