Check Out Undertaker’s Most Supernatural Moments

November 19, 2018 • Admin

Sometimes, you have to go a little further. A ten year career in wrestling is impressive. A fifteen year one is a very long run. Twenty years is a rarity anymore. Going twenty eight years with the same company after starting elsewhere is unheard of, unless you’re the Undertaker. The Undertaker debuted at the 1990 Survivor Series and has been going mostly strong ever since. That’s quite the accomplishment and it’s time for a retrospective. This is a pretty unique list. [This post contains video, click to play] WWE has released a new video looking at the Undertaker’s Most Supernatural Moments. These have been a staple of Undertaker’s career in his twenty eight years with the company as Undertaker has always been one of the more over the top characters in WWE. The list looks throughout Undertaker’s history and covers almost every part of his career. Some of these might be a bit more famous than others. Opinion: Undertaker is one of those guys where you have to overlook some of the si..

Video: Enzo Amore Invades Survivor Series And Gets Ejected, Fan Injured In The Melee

November 19, 2018 • Admin

It just never ends. Things wouldn’t feel right if Enzo Amore wasn’t in the news somehow. Since leaving the WWE back in January, Amore seems to do one thing after another, whether it’s good for him or not. This includes having a concert in his grandmother’s living room and getting kicked off of an airplane, but now he’s back in wrestling. Kind of. For one night only. And it didn’t go well. At Sunday’s Survivor Series, Amore, who was sitting in the second row, created a disturbance and was taken down and ejected by WWE security. The incident took place during the AOP vs. The Bar tag match and it was clear that the fans were distracted by something. According to PWInsider.com, a fan was injured during the incident, complaining of an arm injury. There is no word on her condition. You can see Amore’s disturbance and him being taken away fright here: [This post contains video, click to play] And the incident from another angle, with the fan being knocked over near the end: [This post co..

How He’s Doin. Video: Enzo Amore Tells His Side Of Getting Kicked Off An Airplane.

November 19, 2018 • Admin

So that’s not the case? Enzo Amore is one of the most interesting people in wrestling. Whether he’s being thrown out of the company for not telling his bosses about a criminal investigation, rapping in his grandmother’s living room or being thrown off a plane, he’s almost always in the news. His most recent moment wasn’t the most positive, but Amore has a different side to the story. Not so fast? [This post contains video, click to play] Amore recently spoke to TMZ and gave his side of being thrown off an airplane. He insisted that he wasn’t vaping as he was accused of doing but rather wasn’t telling who actually did it. Amore says that he was asked if he was vaping on the plane but instead asked the man if he was a Federal Air Marshall. The man asking was actually a flight attendant and Amore says he got off that one time. Opinion: Now how did I know that Amore was going to have his own side to the story? I’m not sure what happened on that plane but Amore’s track record isn’t exa..

Video: NXT Star Making The Move To The Main Roster

November 19, 2018 • Admin

Monster On The Loose. NXT has one of the most packed wrestling rosters in the world with some incredible talent up and down the card. They have a great mixture of power, speed, technicians and a few monsters as well. It turns out though that one of those monsters might not be long for the roster as it’s time for him to make the long awaited move up to the main roster. Tonight at Survivor Series, a video announced that Lars Sullivan would be coming to the main roster soon. There is no word on the date of his debut or which brand he will be debuting on. Sullivan has been wrestling in NXT since 2015 with a career highlight of challenging Aleister Black for the NXT Title in a losing effort at Takeover: Chicago II. He is a monster with a rather high IQ, which leads to some rather intelligent promos. [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: If they’re not going to put the NXT Title on him, this is about all he has left to do. Sullivan is the kind of a character who doesn’t need ..

The First Of Many. Title Match Set For Tables Ladders And Chairs.

November 19, 2018 • Admin

It’s never too early to plan ahead. One of the biggest stories in WWE over the last few weeks has been the split of the Shield with Dean Ambrose turning on his former teammate Seth Rollins in a huge heel moment. The heat between the two has been very strong and it was clear that they would be having one heck of a big match at some point in the future. We now know what that point is. As announced at Survivor Series, Rollins will defend the Intercontinental Title against Ambrose at the upcoming Tables Ladders And Chairs pay per view on December 16. There is no word on what kind of a match it will be, but the show does tend to be full of matches with stipulations. This will be the first match between the two since July 2016 when Ambrose defended the WWE Championship against Rollins on SmackDown Live. This is what Ambrose has waiting on him: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise in the world and there’s nothing wrong with that. The two of t..

Who Won The Battle For Brand Supremacy At Survivor Series?

November 19, 2018 • Admin

It didn’t go so well for one side. Over the last few years, Survivor Series has been built around the idea of brand supremacy. Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live had formed teams for a series of matches with the team winning the most matches being awarded bragging rights for the year. Monday Night Raw has won two years in a row so it was time for a change of pace. So how did SmackDown Live do this year? This year at Survivor Series, Monday Night Raw completely swept SmackDown Live, winning by a score of 6-0. Monday Night Raw won both elimination matches as well as all four champion vs. champion matches, with the only one not coming via clean pin being Ronda Rousey defeating Charlotte via DQ. The seventh match, another elimination tag, was held on the Kickoff Show and didn’t count towards the score. Here’s how one of the wins went down: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: Well that happened. I’m not sure what the point was in A, having Monday Night Raw win again and..

Rumor: WWE Having Major Issues Negotiating New Contract With AJ Styles

November 19, 2018 • Admin

AJ Styles dropping the WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live this week was a surprise. Most people expected the title change at Crown Jewel, but Bryan didn’t go to Saudi Arabia and the rumor is that WWE officials just pushed their plans back a bit. However, it turns out there’s more happening with Styles behind the scenes. According to a report from DirtySheets, the company didn’t want to book Styles to lose against Brock Lesnar for the second straight year. The problem behind the scenes has been the contract negotiations between Styles and WWE have dragged on for months with the two parties being unable to agree on some major details of a new contract. Related: Why Did AJ Styles Lose The WWE Championship? The Phenomenal One is looking for a three-year deal with a reduced number of dates on the road to spend more time with his family. Reason Why Matt Riddle Wasn’t Announced for NXT Takeover: War Games II

November 19, 2018 • Admin

The opening match at NXT Takeover: War Games II was a “surprise” bout between Matt Riddle and Kassius Ohno. The match didn’t last long. In fact, it was over in the blink of an eye with Riddle knocking Ohno out cold in seconds. The NXT Universe was surprised by the match because it was advertised to be a part of the taping for next week’s show. Related: Does Matt Riddle Already Have Backstage Heat In NXT? According to a report from RingSideNews, Triple H and other NXT officials did not want to advertise Ohno vs. Riddle because the planned finish was a knockout for Riddle. NXT officials didn’t want to get the fans hopes up for a 5 second match. It was a better idea to have the match be a “surprise” for the Los Angeles crowd to see Matt Riddle in action. After Takeover: War Games II, The Game had high praise for Riddle. Obviously, Riddle is expected to receive a huge push in NXT moving forward. The knockout of a veteran like Ohno is a huge win to put him over. Over the next few months, ..

Rumor: Lars Sullivan Expected to Debut on Main Roster Very Soon

November 18, 2018 • Admin

On NXT, Lars Sullivan’s run as a monster heel has been successful. He’s been featured as a heel against Aleister Black and other stars for the brand. Sullivan hasn’t recorded a lot of big wins over his NXT tenure, but he’s found some success and WWE officials believe he could be a big player in the years to come. It might be a lot sooner than we thought. According to a report from RingSideNews, WWE is expected to begin running vignettes for Lars Sullivan after Survivor Series and his main roster debut could be happening in the next few weeks. The company is looking to make some moves after Roman Reigns’ leukemia diagnosis and it seems that Sullivan is much a part of their upcoming plans. Here’s How Vince McMahon Wants to Use The Velveteen Dream at the Main Roster

November 18, 2018 • Admin

The Velveteen Dream is one of the most interesting gimmicks on all of WWE television because almost no one thought it would work in the beginning. The NXT Universe has embraced the gimmick. “The Dream” put on a great performance and almost captured the NXT Championship from Tommaso Ciampa during NXT Takeover: War Games II. At 23 years old, the sky is the limit for the young performer that most people are calling a “prodigy.” However, there’s a lot of concern regarding how The Velveteen Dream will be used on the main roster eventually. In particular, some people are very concerned if Vince McMahon will provide him the opportunity to connect with the WWE Universe. Huge Update on Becky Lynch’s Health Status Heading Into ‘Survivor Series’

November 18, 2018 • Admin

Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey was arguably the most anticipated match heading into the Survivor Series PPV. The WWE Universe is excited for Charlotte vs. Ronda, but WWE officials have been saving that match for WrestleMania 35. Depending on the events of Charlotte vs. Rousey, WWE might book a Triple Threat Match for WWE’s grandest stage. In the short term, The Lass Kicker is sidelined with a broken nose and concussion after a stiff punch to the face from Nia Jax. Following the botch, Lynch’s stock is at an all-time high with the WWE Universe. However, it isn’t known when the SmackDown Women’s Champion will be able to return to action and news has been quite scarce on the matter. Related: Backstage News Regarding Becky Lynch’s Potential Babyface Turn According to a recent report from RingSideNews, Becky Lynch is scheduled for another medical evaluation very soon and could even be before Survivor Series. Major Update on Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa Storyline After NXT Takeover: War Games II

November 18, 2018 • Admin

At NXT Takeover: War Games II, Aleister Black defeated Johnny Gargano. The NXT Title remains on Tommaso Ciampa’s shoulder after he beat The Velveteen Dream later in the night. By all appearances, Black vs. Ciampa is the plan for the NXT Championship after the event. However, it’s unclear where Gargano fits into the NXT Title picture as a heel. According to a report from PWInsider Elite, NXT officials could be looking for Gargano to remain a heel while Black remains the No. 1 Contender. It’s also been rumored that a ‘DIY’ reunion could happen soon while both Gargano and Ciampa are heels. The angle is going to come down to how NXT officials want to book Johnny Wrestling going forward. Related: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to Reunite ‘DIY’ On paper, Gargano’s attack on Black was wanting to have Ciampa to himself. As long as Ciampa is the NXT Champion, it’s not logical for anyone but Gargano to take the title off him. A short reunion of DIY to feud with Aleister Black would work thr..

Update on Pete Dunne’s Injury Status, Does He Need to Drop UK Championship?

November 18, 2018 • Admin

For the past few months, the WWE Universe has been wondering about Pete Dunne’s condition. There have been rumors that he’s been injured for quite some time and if he would need to drop the United Kingdom Championship soon. Despite the injuries, Pete Dunne has continued to wrestle and it’s unclear if his injury was just some speculation. According to a report from RingSideNews, Triple H revealed that Dunne was working through a broken bone in his foot. He’s been resting for the past few weeks and he was a part of the War Games Match on Saturday. The expectation is he won’t need time off, but he was noticeable limping during the match so he’s likely on a limited schedule. NXT Takeover: WarVideo games II Live Coverage And Results

November 17, 2018 • Admin

Takeover: WarGames II Date: November 17, 2018 Location: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California Commentators: Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness, Percy Watson Yeah I think this is going to do just fine. Not counting the show’s namesake match, it’s a big card with a 2/3 falls title match, an NXT Title match and what could be a heck of a grudge match. As usual, NXT knows how to present a big card with all the junk trimmed off to give us the best show possible. Let’s get to it. The opening video looks at the four matches on the card, with WarGames getting a little more attention than everything else. The announcers preview the show with Mauro talking about Stan Lee passing away and comparing the main event to the Infinity War. Here’s Matt Riddle, who isn’t scheduled to be on the show. He’s supposed to face Kassius Ohno on NXT this Wednesday but since they have a ring….two rings right here, let’s do this right now. Ohno comes out and says ring the bell. Is There Heat On Brock Lesnar For How He Beat Up The Singh Brothers?

November 17, 2018 • Admin

I think he’ll be fine. Brock Lesnar doesn’t exactly follow the standard path for wrestlers. He only wrestles a few times a year, rarely wrestles a long match, and seems to get to do whatever he wants. This rarely goes beyond F5’s and German suplexes because he’s so dominant with them that he doesn’t need to do anything else. However, some of those moves are so devastating that they don’t work on everyone, and that can become a problem. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is believed to be backstage heat on Lesnar for his beatdown of Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers on this week’s Monday Night Raw. During the segment, Lesnar threw the Brothers with some very hard German suplexes with the ones to Sunil Singh being considered to be too intense. The heat is said to be from the members of the locker room rather than management. At the moment, there is no word on Sunil being injured by the incident. Here’s what made the locker room angry: [This post contains video, cl..

Backstage Heat On Nia Jax For Injuring Becky Lynch, Chris Jericho Comments

November 17, 2018 • Admin

It doesn’t look good either way. Earlier this week, Becky Lynch was ruled out of Sunday’s Survivor Series due to a broken bone in her face and a concussion, both of which were suffered on Monday Night Raw. On Monday’s show, Nia Jax punched Lynch in the face during a brawling segment, injuring her to the point where she had to go on the shelf. It was pretty clear that backlash was coming and it’s hitting Jax from two directions. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is backstage heat on Jax due to the injury. In this case, the heat is worse because this isn’t the first time that Jax has injured someone, including both Zelina Vega and Alexa Bliss. At the same time, Chris Jericho mentioned the situation on a recent episode of his Talk Is Jericho podcast. Jericho discussed the situation and thought the punch was even worse than previously described. Here are his pair of comments, with transcription courtesy of WrestleZone.com: “If you see the punch she [Becky Lynch] took,..

Video: Top Ten Ridiculous Fast Survivor Series Eliminations

November 17, 2018 • Admin

That’s kind of the point. Survivor Series takes place this weekend and in addition to all of the big singles matches, the show will feature its namesake elimination tag matches. These are going to be a lot more interesting in some cases as a single pinfall or submission can give you a story between the two people involved. Some of these are more memorable than others and in some cases that’s because of how fast they go. Blink and you’ll miss some of them. [This post contains video, click to play] WWE has released a new Top Ten video looking at Ridiculously Fast Survivor Series Eliminations. This video looks at eliminations that took place right after another with the person who scored the previous elimination either getting another one or being eliminated themselves. The list looks back from almost the beginning of the show’s history to its modern editions. Opinion: These are the things that work so well in the Survivor Series, even if you an accept all of the sudden rollups for e..

Survivor Series 2018 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts

November 17, 2018 • Admin

We’re finally here and odds are the lineups for the matches have changed another 194 times since Tuesday. It’s another year focused on Brand Supremacy and things are changing every day for the sake of…I have no idea really. This time there are seven brand vs. brand matches and a lonesome Cruiserweight Title match (the only title match on the whole show), the latter of which you would expect to be on the Kickoff Show so the whole show could be built around one concept. You know, because that’s how you do a show like this. Let’s get to it. Kickoff Show: Monday Raw Tag Teams vs. SmackDown Live Tag Teams Raw: Bobby Roode/Chad Gable (captains), Revival, Lucha House Party, B-Team, Ascension SmackDown: Usos (captains), New Day, Sanity, Good Brothers, Colons For some reason this is on the Kickoff Show, with the likely reason of allowing the entrances to not eat up such a ridiculous amount of time. At the moment this is the only Kickoff Show match and I can’t imagine that winding up being th..
