House Hardy Prepares for the Upcoming ‘Final Deletion’ Match on ‘Raw’ Next Week

As ‘Raw‘ and the ‘Final Deletion‘ match between Bray Wyatt and ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy draws closer, House Hardy is preparing for war. As shown on WWE television, Matt Hardy will be accompanied by Queen Rebecca, King Maxel, Lord Wolfgang, Senor Benjamin and Vanguard-1 as the ‘Woken’ family unite to take on ‘The Eater of Worlds.’
Lord Wolfgang taunted his older brother King Maxel on Twitter, claiming he had made his pro wrestling debut on ‘Raw’ while Maxel had to work his way up through the indies.
I made my pro wrestling debut on WWE #RAW while my brother had to work his way up the indies.

“Wrestlemania XXXV” Location Officially Announced

And so it’s official. We’re coming up on “Wrestlemania XXXIV” but it’s not too early to look forward to “Wrestlemania XXXV”. It’s not clear what matches will be taking place or who will be the major focus of the show, but we now know where the show will be taking place. This was rumored for a long time and now we know for sure.
It’s been there before.

In an announcement on WWE.com, “Wrestlemania XXXV” will be taking place in MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on April 7, 2019. This is the second time the stadium has hosted the show after “Wrestlemania XXIX” was held there in 2013. The same weekend will see “Takeover”, “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown Live” taking place in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Opinion: It wouldn’t be WWE if they didn’t go back to New York every now and then. That’s their home and while they’re certainly a worldwide company, New York is what matters more than anywhere else. It’s a big deal and just being ..

Update: Ronda Rousey Added Back to All “Raw” Shows Before WrestleMania 34

It had been previously reported that Ronda Rousey would be appearing on every episode of “Raw” leading up to WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. However, she was not present for this past week’s show, creating much speculation amongst the WWE Universe. In her absence, the company added a video which shows her road to WrestleMania. You can see that video below:

However, according to a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Ronda Rousey has been added back to every “Raw” leading up to the “grandest stage of them all.” However, there is a possibility that she will only be appearing in a dark segment on certain weeks.
Many people have been wondering why Rousey was absent from this past week’s “Raw.” The report states that she was scheduled for medical testing in Pittsburgh that day, which is why she couldn’t be in Detroit for the show.
Editor’s Opinion:
This isn’t a big deal. Honestly, regardless of whether she is available, Rousey doesn’t need to ..

Tyler Breeze Discusses Being “Misused” at the Main Roster

Tyler Breeze was recently interviewed by The Whig, where he discussed a number of topics. Among them were participating in WrestleMania 34, being patient in the professional wrestling industry, being “misused” on the main roster and more. Breeze is most known for being a part of the Tag Team known as Breezango, along with his partner, Fandango.
Below is a clip of them from the recent “Fastlane” pay-per-view:

Below are some highlights from the interview:
On participating in WrestleMania 34:
“We’re trying to look toward getting ourselves a tag title match on that show. I don’t really see a reason why we shouldn’t be added to the mix,” said the 30-year-old, whose real name is Mattias Clement.
On being patient in WWE:
“Everybody has their time,” he said. “It’s all about patience. I know it’s very easy to get frustrated and sit there and say, ‘Why me?’ but it’s all about patience. We have an extremely talented roster and everybody eventually..

AJ Styles Discusses How He Stays Fit as a 40-Year Old Competitor

WWE Champion AJ Styles was recently interviewed by Men’s Health, where he discussed a number of topics. Among them were staying in shape as a professional wrestler, his diet, how to avoid injuries and more. Styles is currently slated to defend his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 34.
The two came face-to-face on “Smackdown Live” this week, and you can see a clip of that below:

Below are some questions, along with the “Phenomenal One’s” answers:
MENSHEALTH.COM: HOW DOES STAYING IN SHAPE AS A PRO WRESTLER DIFFER FROM ANY OTHER ATHLETE? AJ Styles: Well, first and foremost you got to look the part. If you’re in the ring, obviously your shirt is off, you got to look like you could beat somebody up. But the problem is trying to get there. There was a time where young AJ Styles tried to lift 95 and it bounced off his chest because he didn’t know how heavy it was. It was then I realized, “Oh shoot, man, I got to work out…

Watch: Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles From WrestleMania 33

Don’t cross the boss. Unless it gets you a match on the “grandest stage of them all.” WWE has recently posted a new video to its YouTube page, which shows the full match between AJ Styles and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33. The build up to this was intense, and even involved McMahon going through a car window.
You can see match in its entirety below:

WWE.com had the following to say about the match:
It was a showdown destined to be chaotic from its inception. Several weeks earlier, having felt undervalued by SmackDown LIVE’s Commissioner, “The Face That Run the Place” opted to take matters into his own hands and hurl Shane-O-Mac through a car window. Others in power would have simply fired The Phenomenal One for this brutal action; in fact, Team Blue General Manager Daniel Bryan did fire Styles. However, McMahon overturned Bryan’s decision, for he saw an opportunity to earn Styles’ respect while making another incredible WrestleMania Mom..

“Monday Night Raw” Audience and Ratings – March 12, 2018

One down, three to go. With less than a month to go before “Wrestlemania XXXIV”, it’s time to pick up the pace with WWE’s television shows. Things haven’t exactly been on fire as of late but with nothing left but time between now and “Wrestlemania”, things could pick up in a hurry. But how many fans wanted to see the show?
Miss the show? Here are some quick highlights.

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” drew a 1.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.352 million viewers, up 6% and 8% respectively from last week’s 1.09 rating and 3.099 million viewers. Both are the best since January. This week’s show was headlined by a tag team battle royal to determine new #1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Titles. You can read the full results here.
Opinion: Those are some solid numbers and WWE can only hope they continue to rise. This is the most important time of the year for the company and they really need some ..

Grudge Match Set for “Wrestlemania XXXIV”

And I’m sure it will stand. With “Wrestlemania XXXIV” less than a month to go, there are still several major matches left to be announced. Several of those are big time “Smackdown Live” matches as several matches have yet to be announced. As of tonight though, we have one less match to worry about.
The participants didn’t react well.

At the end of this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live”, Commissioner Shane McMahon announced that Kevin Owens will face Sami Zayn at “Wrestlemania”. Owens and Zayn were angry at each other over their interactions during Sunday’s Six Pack Challenge at “Fastlane 2018”. The two then attacked McMahon to end the show, meaning the match still could be changed. You can read this week’s results here.
Opinion: I’m not convinced that this match is going to stand as it was announced but at least they have a starting point. This could easily be turned into either a tag match or a triple threat with McMahon being added, ..

Shane McMahon Takes Leave as “Smackdown Live” Commissioner

So long, farewell? Over the last few months, the top story on “Smackdown Live” has been a power struggle between Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan. The two haven’t come to blows but they’ve clearly been having issues with each other for a long time now. However, something changed tonight which could make the story go away.
The announcement didn’t go well for McMahon.
[This post contains video, click to play]

At the end of this week’s “Smackdown Live”, McMahon announced that he would be taking an indefinite leave of absence from his position as Commissioner. There is no word on how long he will be gone or if he will be back in the role at all. McMahon leaving his job will leave Daniel Bryan as the lone authority figure on “Smackdown Live” starting next week.
You can read this week’s results here.
Opinion: Thank goodness. I haven’t been a fan of McMahon’s time as Commissioner as he’s been all over the show and received far too much attention in the role. H..

Video: Ronda Rousey Demonstrates How To Look Mean

Who says she can’t act? Ronda Rousey debuted in WWE about six weeks ago at the “2018 Royal Rumble”. She has since hit the ground running and will be making her in-ring debut at “Wrestlemania XXXIV” in a mixed tag match. Rousey can put on one of the scariest faces in the world and got to demonstrate this ability on a pretty big TV show.
[This post contains video, click to play]

Rousey appeared on “Ellen” for an interview, during which she demonstrated how to look mean to a camera, which she often does before a fight. The interview also includes a discussion of the differences between wrestling, the Olympics and UFC, as well as whether she would ever return to the UFC. Rousey has used the death stare in WWE already, starting here.
Opinion: Rousey knows how to play to a camera and that death stare is as good of a weapon as she has. She knows how to look like she’s going to kill you but more than that, Rousey can actually back the look up. There’s a lot of potential there and if she..

WWE Corporate Salaries Revealed in New Filing

There’s money to be made. WWE is the biggest wrestling company in the world by several laps. It’s a billion dollar company and stretches all over the world with big shows coming up in Australia and Saudi Arabia. That means there’s quite a bit of money to be made worldwide and the people who make the most are at the top of the company.
There was enough money to do this.

In a new corporate filing, WWE has declared the salaries of some of its top corporate members. New Title Match Announced for “Wrestlemania”

It worked once. Earlier this week at “Fastlane 2018”, Randy Orton won the United States Title for the first time in his career. Orton defeated Bobby Roode to win the title in a long match, but it was pretty clear that the feud wasn’t over quite yet. Now, we know where things are going next, or at least have a good idea of where they’re starting.
Orton was back on “Smackdown Live” after winning the title.
[This post contains video, click to play]

This week on “Smackdown Live”, Roode announced that he would be cashing in his rematch clause to face Orton again at “Wrestlemania XXXIV”. Orton didn’t have a problem with this, but Jinder Mahal interrupted and defeated Roode in a singles match. After the match, Orton laid Mahal out with an RKO. You can read this week’s “Smackdown” results here.
Opinion: I don’t think a triple threat match would be a big surprise at this point but at least there is now a storyline reason to put Mahal in the match. This has been the pretty clear end goal..
