Big Stipulation Possible For Major All In Match

Two for the price of All In. A large group of wrestling fans are now looking forward to September 1 and the All In event. The show, which will easily be the biggest independent wrestling show of all time, is going to be a major deal and one of the most important things wrestling has seen in a very long time. We get the idea of the show itself and the big layout, but at some point you need to have an actual card. One big match is known, but now we might be seeing a pretty big change to the match. The show has been a major success already. See what one of our columnists had to say about it!
Today at the Ring of Honor: United show in London, England, Cody was interrupted by NWA World Champion Nick Aldis. The two will be facing off for Aldis’ title at All In, but Aldis wanted something a little bigger. Cody is challenging for the Ring of Honor World Title at next month’s Best in the World event and if Cody wins, Aldis wants the match to be title for title. Cody agreed and the new stipulat..

Jim Ross Raves About Possible Future Universal Champion

On the most recent episode of The Jim Ross Report, Ross spoke at length about a talent in WWE he feels will be a future Universal Champion in the company. In the past, Ross has explained that Braun Strowman will be the top star of WWE, but he feels this shouldn’t happen until 2019. He’d be very happy to see a heel Roman Reigns take on a babyface Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 35.
While Ross did mention Strowman, he has also now revealed another Raw Superstar he feels will be a future Universal Champion, and it is a name the audience will most likely want to see in that position.
He had the following to say: “[Drew McIntyre] looks great, he sounds great, he’s in great condition, he’s just getting better and better,” said Ross. “He’s a big-time player. I could see, very easily, Drew McIntyre being a Universal or WWE Champion down the road. Without a doubt. It’s a lay-up; trust me on this one.”
McIntyre worked with WWE back in 2009 when he was just a 24-year-old. Working the blue brand..

WWE May Potentially Be Making Huge Network Announcements Soon

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE may potentially making huge announcements related to the award-winning WWE Network in the coming weeks. Triple H recently had the following to say to The Mirror in the UK earlier this month, leading to speculation on the Network announcements: “While we are there at this UK event at the Royal Albert Hall, we will be making some announcements about the future of the UK Championship brand there in the UK and moving forward. That brand still remains very near and dear to me and it’s something I want to move on. It’s taking a little bit longer than I anticipated in getting things done and getting them done in the way I want them to get done … but it’s happening. It will be meaningful to everybody there and I look forward to showcasing the UK talent to the world.”
As we’ve mentioned, WWE has been considering adding other promotions to the Network to further increase the subscriber count.

Rumor: John Morrison’s Next Wrestling Venture Could Be Huge

WrestlingInc, by way of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that former WWE Superstar and current Impact and Lucha Underground star John Morrison could be NJPW bound. New Japan Pro Wrestling first opened its doors back in 1972, but it has only been within the past few years that it has seen a strong international presence.
With gaijin (foreign wrestlers) becoming more common in the promotion, NJPW is certainly growing in ways many people felt it never truly would.
At the moment, Superstars such as Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks, Cody, Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll, Michael Elgin, Zack Sabre. Jr, Jay White, Juice Robinson, Bad Luck Fale, Killer Elite Squad, Beretta and others all compete for the promotion.
Now, if the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is to be believed, Morrison could be the latest gaijin to make his way over to the company.
Morrison has inquired into joining the company. He previously inquired, but due to his relationship with AAA, they were unable..

Is Seth Rollins the True Top Guy in WWE?

Seth Rollins is the best in WWE right now. That is no secret for anyone paying attention to the product lately. Rollins has truly stepped his game like never before since becoming the Intercontinental champion at WrestleMania 34. His run as WWE champion in 2015 was good but he did not receive the acclaim he’s receiving now. That may have been due to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s constant involvement or it may have been due to Rollins’ status as the top heel. However fans just cannot get enough of him now and he definitely looks great in every aspect of his game. Seth has proved there’s life after The Authority and he is making his case for best in the world.
But while he may be on an all-time high in the company, he’s not the top guy. That may not be an issue for him or his fans but for a great many of the WWE faithful, Rollins is the perfect alternative to Roman Reigns. Reigns’ run as the face of WWE has been deemed a failed experiment by some. Yet no matter how many critics belie..

Lio Rush Opens Up: “You Live, You Make Mistakes And You learn”

NXT Superstar and upcoming rap artist Lio Rush recently opened up to ESPN about putting his mistakes behind him as he looks to pursue his dreams and become a better man. Rush first explained how he got in contact with WWE: “He just told me to keep working hard. Keeping pushing. Good things happen to people who wait.’ He definitely noticed my hard work and the passion that I had to be a professional wrestler and be one of those top-tier athletes and top-tier wrestlers in the sports entertainment industry. That was my first interaction with anybody from WWE.”
Canyon Semen of WWE Talent Relations would call Rush just a year later to offer him a contract, without a tryout.
From here he would attend the Performance Center in Florida, four years after graduating Full Sail University: “WWE took notice. They saw the heart, the drive, the determination, motivations that I have to be one of the fastest rising stars professional wrestling has ever seen. My journey to get to the WWE was a lot di..

Video: Top Ten Incredible Surprises Under The Ring

I think it might be time to clean. A wrestling ring is an interesting place. While a lot of people seem to think that it’s a trampoline, it’s really more like a big wooden and metal contraption with a spring and a microphone with very little that can give you some relief. Now that’s what’s really under there most of the time, but there have been some instances where some very strange things happen to be under there instead.
I…but….you?

WWE has released a new Top Ten video looking at the most Incredible Surprises Under the Ring. This list includes a wide variety of moments, mainly focusing on different weapons or people hiding underneath the ring. As you might guess, several of these are more serious than others, though many of them are pure comedic moments and nothing else, arguably including the top spot on the list. Opinion: NOPE. I’m sorry but does even WWE not remember the time that Shawn Michaels and Triple H went..

Rey Mysterio Reveals What The Latin Talent In WWE Are Lacking

According to WrestlingInc, former WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio was interviewed by Harry Ruiz of Telemundo, where he explained the problem with Latin talent in WWE. Mysterio believes that the Latin Superstars in WWE are killing it right now, but there is one thing they are lacking.
The veteran in Mysterio believes that the company now needs someone like him to “link” the talent together in order for a larger, more dominant push.
This prompted Ruiz to ask the luchador if he’d like to see a revival of the Latino World Order, which was a WCW stable from 1998-1999. Members of this stable included Mysterio himself, La Parka, Psychosis, Juventud Guerrera, Silver King, El Dandy, Hector Garza, Villano V, Damian, and Ciclope.
When asked, Mysterio asked, “Why not?”
Mysterio has reportedly been in contract negotiations with WWE for some time now. He has competed in the two Royal Rumble based events this year and is speculated to be involved in the Australian show rumored to take place later this..

Rumor: Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas Facing Major Problems On SmackDown Live

It took a long time for Andrade “Cien” Almas to find his footing in NXT. His stint as the smiling babyface didn’t work at all. His initial heel turn didn’t change his status either, but Zelina Vega and a mean streak turned him from a huge flop into the NXT Champion.
After WrestleMania 34, Almas was moved to SmackDown Live. Thus far, he’s just been showcased in squash matches to give the WWE Universe a taste of what he can do. His future remains unclear and many fans believe he’s going to face some major problems.
Related: Seth Rollins Talks Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas On WWE’s Main Roster
According to RingSideNews, Brad Shepard speculated that Almas will struggle to reach a certain level because of his height. It seems silly to make that statement considering his success in NXT and performs like Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and others haven’t struggled despite their size. However, it’s easy to make such a claim with Almas unproven on the main roster thus far.
It’s true that mainstream wrestl..

Here’s When Brock Lesnar is Expected To Wrestle Again

After Brock Lesnar retained the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34, the WWE Universe didn’t know what to expect because the belief was he’d be leaving WWE after the event. With a new contract and Bobby Lashley’s return, the expectation is the two men will finally collide at Summerslam and that will be the changing of the guard.
There are still three long months between now and the biggest party of the summer. It’s been confirmed that Lesnar won’t perform at Money in the Bank. The WWE Universe is wondering when Brock will get back into the ring, but most fans won’t like the answer.
Related: Does Bobby Lashley’s Road Lead to Brock Lesnar?
According to the Wrestling Observer Live, it’s possible Brock Lesnar won’t wrestle again until Extreme Rules in July or Summerslam. Given the fact that he’s not even wrestling at Money in the Bank, it’s fair to assume that Lesnar won’t defend the title until August.
The expectation is Brock will be dropping the championship to Lashley, Ro..
