WWE RUMOR: Monday Night Raw Star Requests Release

So long again? WWE has been undergoing a lot of changes over the course of the year and a lot of that has been due to moves being made on the roster. This has included a lot of wrestlers leaving the promotion for one reason or another, some of which have not been voluntary. This time around though, another wrestler may be on their way out and by his own choice.

According to MasLucha.com, Monday Night Raw star Gran Metalik has requested his release from WWE over not having enough opportunities or a clear path on the roster. Metalik’s current deal expires in 2023 and he has been with WWE since 2016, losing in the finals of the Cruiserweight Classic. Metalik has spent the majority of his WWE career as a tag team wrestler, mainly as part of Lucha House Party.

You might have forgotten about him. Check out Metalik in WWE:

Opinion: Can you blame him? Metalik hasn’t done a thing of note in years in WWE, with the Lucha House Party never even winning the Tag Team Titles. He has been a staple of Main Event for the better part of ever and there is no reason to believe that things are going to improve for him anytime soon. It wouldn’t surprise me if WWE let him go, as it isn’t likely that he is going to be doing anything in the company until his deal is up.

What do you think of Metalik? Where should he go next? Let us know in the comments below.
