WATCH: Bray Wyatt Explains How The Fiend “Died”

So he’s gone? Gimmicks and characters are difficult things to figure out in wrestling as wrestlers have to find the right one for them. There are all kinds of different ways to present a star and balancing things out is quite the task. Sometimes a wrestler is able to put together something completely unique but now, one of those characters seems to be done completely.

He’s There: John Cena Reportedly Set For Something At WWE Royal Rumble

Bray Wyatt was interviewed by Ryan Satin for the Royal Rumble, with the full interview being released on Saturday, January 28. WWE has released a clip of Wyatt talking about the Fiend, with Wyatt saying that “The Fiend died that day in Tampa, Florida, at WrestleMania, to me.” Wyatt went on to say that the Fiend was part of what made him a human being, but now it “can’t never be again”. The Fiend has not appeared since Wyatt returned to WWE last year.

The Fiend was a force. Check out the clip, plus the Fiend in action:

Opinion: That is quite the change and it is interesting to see Wyatt moving away from one of his more infamous characters. If Wyatt does not feel the same about being the Fiend, then it might be better if the Fiend is gone. For now, what Wyatt is doing is going well enough and it can be interesting to see what he can come up with now that the Fiend seems to be gone.
