Talk is Jericho Recap w/ Bo Dallas – Conspiracy Theories, JFK Assassination, Reptilian People, More!
Jericho welcomes Bo Dallas to the show.
Dallas informs that this is his first podcast appearance and the first time fans will hear him talk out of character, so he’s a little concerned with how people with react to how crazy he is. Jericho says he and Dallas bonded on a bus ride during a recent European tour, and he realized that they had a lot of things in common. Dallas says those long trips to Europe are often when people bond with each other.
Dallas says the blind refusal of facts is what really bothers him about various conspiracy theories. The minute you talk about any conspiracy theories, people automatically think you’re crazy and ignore everything you say. People are led by mainstream beliefs and anything outside of that norm is simply wrong, despite how many facts there are to support these theories.
He says that one big conspiracy that he believes in is the ‘Hollow Earth’ theory. This theory states that the Earth is hollow and there is a race of people living there. He says that while scientists claim the centre of the Earth is all molten lava, we’ve never dug to a depth that can prove this.
The Hardy Boyz Preparing for Lawsuit Against Anthem Sports?
As previously reported, Ed Nordholm mentioned during an interview with Sports Illustrated that he will not continue negotiations with The Hardy Boyz over the “BROKEN” gimmick and he doesn’t plan to open a new dialogue with them.
“I’ve stopped thinking about this. We have a show to put on, and a company and a brand. We’ve got things on our plate that are more important than sorting out the “Broken Brilliance.” I made a genuine effort to resolve something to benefit the Hardys as a goodwill gesture to Matt. It didn’t reach a conclusion and we’re moving on. We’re not going back to it, I’m not interested in opening a new dialogue, I’m not interested in opening another conversation about it. We made our best effort, it didn’t happen, and I’m not going to negotiate all over again.”
According to PWInsider, all signs are pointing that The Hardy Boyz are preparing for a lawsuit against Anthem Sports over the ownership of the gimmick. We will keep you posted if we receive any more details.
ROH CEO Joe Koff Says Door Is Open for CM Punk Return
While appearing on Wrestle Zone Radio, Ring of Honor CEO Joe Koff discussed the topic of CM Punk possibly returning to ROH and mentioned that the door is always open if he wanted to return.
“CM Punk would be an unbelievable addition for Ring of Honor. I don’t know where that would be or could be. It would be a dream. Wrestling talent knows this: once you are a part of Ring of Honor you are always a part of Ring of Honor. Our door is always open to people who want to come back and perform at our level, with our style and for our fans. That would be a dream. That would be unbelievable…CM Punk, if you’re listening or reading, I hope you are, you are always welcome in our house. You know that. He knows that. We’ve had conversations in the past through people. He knows that there is a welcome sign for him.”
When asked if he has spoken to Punk, Koff responded, “I haven’t spoken to him personally and I think it’s through intermediaries or whatever. I think his first goal was to be involved in his MMA stuff.”

WWE Changes RAW Superstars Name
It appears that WWE has decided to shorten Elias Samson’s name to just “Elias” moving forward.
In his bio section on WWE.com, the last name has been cleared away. This would be an indication that they have decided to shorten his name. WWE has done this in the past with Superstars like Big E Langston, Antonio Cesaro and Adrian Neville.
CM Punk Advertised for SmackDown Live
Several of our readers have sent word that CM Punk was being advertised this week for the Hulu version of SmackDown Live. You can check out a screen shot that reader Erik Glenn sent in:
It’s obvious CM Punk isn’t appearing on the episode as he hasn’t returned to the company. Someone at Hulu screwed up and somehow this happened.
At last word Punk was under contract to UFC and has voiced in several interviews that he has no plans to return to WWE anytime in the near future.
El Rey Exec on Lucha Underground Renewal: “Looks Good”
IGN recently interviewed Skip Chaisson, El Rey Network’s chief creative officer, about the potential of Lucha Underground being renewed for a fourth season. During the interview, Chaisson said the show’s future “looks good.” He would not confirm nor deny, however, the show itself being renewed.
Chaisson noted that one of the biggest talking points at the El Rey Network is where LU fits into their TV schedule going forward. Though he also noted that he and network head/famed filmmaker Robert Rodriguez love the show. “I can’t emphasize enough just how giving the wrestlers are,” he said, “and just working with Eric [Van Wagenen, Lucha Underground’s executive producer] and Chris [DeJoseph, co-executive producer] – it’s just so much fun.”
Luckily for LU, El Rey is still airing season 3 of the series. This leaves plenty of time for the network to decide the show’s future.

WWE Network subscription revenue increased 7% to $49.1 million from $45.9 million in the prior year quarter based on an 8% year-over-year increase in average paid subscribers to over 1.63 million.
WWE expects the average number of paid subscribers to drop to 1.54 million in the 3rd quarter.
The Taz Show Recap – NXT Analysis, Effective Commentary in Wrestling, Will Taz Return to the Announce Booth? More!
Block 1:
Taz opens today’s show speaking briefly about last night’s episode of NXT. He says that Velveteen is a very captivating character with a terrific look, great size and a ripped body. He thinks Velveteen Dream has a plethora of potential moving forward, and if he had to pick two NXT Superstars who he believes will become legitimate stars he’d choose Dream and Aleister Black.
Speaking about the NXT commentary team, one line in particular really bothered Taz during last night’s episode. After Velveteen Dream dropped his elbow finisher from the top rope, Mauro Ranallo said, “The elbow was Macho like Randy!”. Taz cringed at that line, and he really wishes Ranallo wouldn’t have compared Veleveteen Dream to ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage.
Taz understands that Ranallo is not making this comparison maliciously and he’s doing his best to get Velveteen Dream over, but Taz doubts Vince McMahon is aware that this type of comparison is happening on a weekly basis on NXT. He doubts McMahon would approve of these young talents being compared to some of the business’ all time greats, and Taz believes Ranallo is simply trying too hard to get these guys over.
