Impact Wrestling Date: December 8, 2022 Location: Old Paristown Hall, Louisville, Kentucky Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt The slow build towards Hard To Kill continues as we still have over a month to go before the show. That means a lot more Bully Ray, who dominated the first fourth of last week’s show and will probably be around again this week. Other than that, it might be nice to hear some more from the World Champion Josh Alexander, so let’s get to it. We look at Deaner killing Eric Young off last week. REVIEW Bound For Glory 2019: Their Big One

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Bound For Glory 2019 Date: October 20, 2019 Location: Odeum Expo Center, Villa Park, Illinois Commentators: Don Callis, Josh Matthews It’s the biggest night of the year and that could mean a lot of things this time around. The main event will see World Champion Brian Cage defending the title against Sami Callihan in a match that was made personal when Callihan attacked Cage’s wife Melissa Santos. In addition, we have Ken Shamrock returning to the ring to face Moose because….star power I guess? Let get to it. A ve..

The opening sequence looks at Sami Callihan attacking Moose last week. Callihan wants Moose. Opening sequence, again featuring a classic TNA theme. Tenille Dashwood vs. Rosemary Madison Rayne is here too. Rosemary knocks her into the corner to start and a ram into the buckle makes it worse. Dashwood manages to get in a shot of her own though and pulls Rosemary outside for a crash to take over. Back in and the Upside Down doesn’t get Rosemary very far as Dashwood clotheslines her down. A full nelson is broken up though and a double clothesline gives them both a..

Former World Champion Makes Surprise Return Over The Weekend

Welcome back. In almost any wrestling promotion, the World Title is what matters the most. Someone holding that title means that they have arrived as a major star and that they have become one of the most important people in the promotion. Even after they lose the title, they will always be a former World Champion and that has some value. One of those made his return this week after a long absence. Former Impact Wrestling World Champion Sami Callihan made his return to the company on Saturday at Under Siege. Moose had come to the ring and said that he was hijacking the show, which caused the lights to go out and a video to play announcing Callihan’s return as he cleared Moose from the ring. Callihan had been out of action since September after suffering a broken ankle. "THE DEATH MACHINE IS BACK!"@TheSamiCallihan #UnderSiege pic.twitter.com/1ilp52HpEe — IMPACT (@IMPACTWRESTLING) May 8, 2022 Opinion: Your mileage on Callihan may vary but he has been a star in Impact Wrestling since ..

Former World Champion Suffers Broken Ankle, Out For Year

It can happen to anyone. You have all kinds of wrestlers on any given roster and unfortunately some of them are going to get hurt at one point or another. There is no way around it and some of the injuries are a lot worse than others. Unfortunately it seems that someone has been hurt again and now it is going to be a long time before we see him in in the ring again. According to Dave Meltzer, Sami Callihan suffered a broken ankle at this weekend’s Impact Wrestling taping and will be out of action until spring 2022. There is no word on how Callihan broke his ankle at the taping or what will be done to make up for his absence. Callihan is a former Impact Wrestling World Champion and teamed with Eddie Edwards in a losing effort against Moose and W. Morrissey at Victory Road over the weekend. Sami Callihan suffered a broken ankle Saturday at the Impact tapings and had surgery. Looks to be out until spring 2022. — Dave Meltzer (@davemeltzerWON) September 20, 2021 Callihan is a big loss ..

The brawl starts on the floor before the bell and Sami hits a powerbomb inside. The bell rings with Sami winning a slugout but being sent outside for the running flip dive from the apron. The Elite got to stand tall at the end of last week’s show but they are going to have to get what is coming to them sooner rather than later. Kenny Omega Is Having Some Injury Issues

The champ is aching. There are only a handful of wrestlers in the world today who are the top stars in their promotion. These are the kind of stars who are going to be the major focal point of their shows most of the time and that is because there is no one like them. It can be rather difficult to replace them if something happens, and now one of the bigger stars in the world is not doing so well. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AAA, AEW and Impact Wrestling World Champion Kenny Omega has been dealing with a variety of injuries. However, Omega has been undergoing stem cell treatment and PRP therapy and is doing much better. Omega’s injuries include a “deep” bone bruise near his tailbone, an athletic hernia and banged up knees. Omega currently holds three World Titles and has scheduled defenses for two of them. He will be defending the Impact Wrestling World Title against Sami Callihan at Slammiversary on July 17. Omega will also defend the AAA Mega Title on August 14 ..
