Their joint statement speaks about their admiration for each other and clarifies that no “infidelity or other interests were involved” in their decision. A wrestler needs to do something to catch your attention and looking a certain way is often near the top of the list. This could be in the form of a costume or something to make your face stand out and there are limitless possibilities. Now though, a WWE star is being accused of ripping off another look. Come on up. There are a lot of talented stars o the WWE main roster but at some point there needs to be someone new brought in to freshen things up a bit. That is where NXT can be valuable, as they are able to hand the main roster some new talent after having them built up in the developmental system. Now we might be ready to see someone come up from NXT. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there has been talk of bringing Cameron Grimes up from NXT to the main roster. Grimes made a brief appearance on Monday Night Raw last month to recruit the OC to help him against the Schism in NXT. There is no word on when Grimes could be called up to the main roster or what he would be doing once he arrives. Opinion: This is the kind of promotion that would be rather smart as well as overdue, as Grimes is more than talented enough to hang in there on the main roster. He could work. Roman Reigns has dominated WWE for over two years now, with one of the longest World Title reigns in company history. Reigns has run through just about everyone that has come in his path, which has not left him with many opponents left to come after him. WWE is going to need to look in a different direction to find a challenger and now someone is calling out Reigns. Reigns successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against Logan Paul in the main event of Crown Jewel over the weekend. Now a WWE star is going to get to go do something special with a legend from outside the company. Pro Wrestling Noah has announced that WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura will be facing the Great Muta on January 1 in Tokyo, Japan. The match will be part of Muta’s retirement tour, which culminates later in the month. Nakamura has commented on the match on Twitter, calling it a “miracle”. The two have wrestled two singles matches before, with Muta winning both, including defeating Nakamura for the IWGP Heavyweight Title in 2008.
