Reby Hardy Continues to Blast Jeff Jarrett — He’s Burning Through Karen’s Alimony Money

Reby Hardy responded to a remark made by Twitter user @KingCrump83 that if it wasn’t for her recent trash talking the legal battle over the “BROKEN” gimmick would have been resolved by now.

“Some people say that if it wasn’t for @RebyHardy talking trash all the time, GFW would have signed off on the contract already. I dont know.”

Hardy responded to these remarks with a series of tweets on Twitter. Here is what she wrote:

“If they were going to, they would have LONG BEFORE I ever said anything again. My recent speaking out was after the last straw for us… after weeks of staying quiet, as per our verbal agreement that was made once Billy & our lawyers reached out to them on our behalf… Apparently they couldn’t hold up their end of it, with Jeff, Ed & Dutch continuing to give interviews & lie to anyone would who listen… For what ? EGO; that’s what this is all about. TNA gains NOTHING they didn’t already have by putting us through this mess… attempting to prevent us from making money ? Trying to shut down an entire ROH PPV ? Yeah, we haven’t forgotten about that… but they want you to, as they gloat of ‘building bridges’ to detract from the fact that they can no longer fund their own programming… Lets keep it real; Jeff Jarrett burns bridges like he burns through Kurt Angle’s alimony money. They were never going to cooperate… regardless of how many chances we gave them to do things amicably/the right way. And there were MANY… Jarrett himself said they were going to ‘drag it out as long as possible’ because ‘they’ll get tired of spending money’… Easy for a failing company & someone whose lifestyle is supported by his wife’s ex husband to say. You weak AF, little man… The ONLY thing we’re tired of are the blatant lies & we will NEVER back down. Even tho we’ve ALREADY WON. #NoCredEd #f***ThatOwl”

Possible Intercontinental Title Plans for SummerSlam

WWE announced that Jason Jordan will appear on the MizTV segment on next week’s episode of RAW. Dave Meltzer indicated on the recent installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE most-likely booked this angle to setup a possible feud between The Miz and Jordan for next month’s SummerSlam event for an Intercontinental Title match.

There was speculation that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose would be challenging The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship on the card, but those plans appear to be nixed.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything new regarding the Intercontinental Title being defended at SummerSlam.

Bischoff on Wrestling Recap – Rey Mysterio’s Future, Taking Controversy Too Far in Wrestling, Relationship with Rick Rude, More!

Bischoff is joined on today’s show by his co-host Nick Hausman.

A listener calls into the show and asks Bischoff where the line is in terms of what is too controversial for the wrestling business. Bischoff says that he always drew the line at anything involving race or religion. He admits that while you’re caught up in a ratings war it’s very easy to do anything imaginable to create controversy, but we must always remember that there is a line we must not cross.

Another listener asks Bischoff what he thinks about GFW’s current product, and if he thinks the company can ever turn the corner. He says that he doesn’t watch GFW, so he doesn’t have an opinion on the current product. In terms of if they can turn the corner, Bischoff says it’s hard to know unless you’re involved in the company and you understand what their goals are moving forward.

He points out that GFW are in a tough spot right now because their only revenue source is through their international television licensing. Bischoff says if they lose their deal with PopTV and therefore their presence on U.S. television, their demand overseas drops dramatically and that could become very problematic.

Bray Wyatt Teases Wyatt Family Reunion

Bray Wyatt sent out the following today, teasing a Wyatt Family reunion:

Wyatt and Braun Strowman are on the RAW brand, while Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are on the SmackDown brand. WWE decided to split the group up around the time of the brand split. There are currently no plans for the group to get back together. However, it is being rumored that Harper & Rowan are the individuals behind the attacks on The Fashion Police.

WWE SmackDown Live Results – July 25 2017

Welcome to SmackDown Live, only 48 hours removed from the Battleground PPV!

Jinder Mahal retained the WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the Punjabi Prison match. However, to nobody’s surprise, Orton wasn’t beaten one-on-one. In fact, it took FOUR guys for Mahal to retain, including himself, The Singh Brothers, and the return of The Great Khali. Look, I don’t like the fact that Mahal is being booked so weak, nor does the return of Khali excite me, but I do like the concept of Mahal having an impressive entourage. Mahal is a beatable Champion but he has two lackeys who will go through hell for him, and a giant to be the muscle. It’s a great sight and I’m excited to see where WWE go next with the Punjabi Posse.

Kevin Owens won the United States Championship from AJ Styles at WWE Battleground. The match itself was fine but the finish left almost everyone scratching their heads. There was a seemingly unnecessary ref bump, a series of submissions in which nobody tapped, and then a weak roll-up to finish an anti-climatic match. It definitely was a blemish on a match that was only starting to get good. However, it’s likely we’ll get the rubber match between the two at SummerSlam and so the feud will continue tonight. That being said, there are rumours that last-minute plan changes were made to allow AJ to leap into a feud with Jinder Mahal. Either way, we’ll find out soon!

The New Day won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship’s on Sunday night, following the best match on the entire card. The match was fantastic and it felt like the right time to put the titles on The New Day. It’s unclear if we’re going to get a third showdown between the two teams at SummerSlam, but seeing as SmackDown’s tag division is pretty lacking, it seems likely. I’m fine with another month of these two teams going at it but in the meantime WWE really has to build a credible contender to New Day. Speaking of other teams, The Fashion Police were once again attacked on Sunday night and we’re no closer to figuring out who perpetrated the attacks. Rumour has it that Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are behind it, and I really hope that’s the case because they could be credible contender’s to the New Day should they beat The Fashion Police.

Natalya won the Five-Way Elimination Match at WWE Battleground on Sunday night, which means she will face Naomi at SummerSlam for the Women’s Championship. These two could have a good match but I worry about the feud when it comes to the microphone. That being said, WWE would do well to include Carmella in the feud and she could easily make it more interesting in the promo department, as well as give Naomi another thing to worry about.

That’s the preview for tonight’s show, which is likely to feature the continued feuds between Corbin and Nakamura, as well as Sami Zayn and Mike Kanellis. Don’t forget to check out the Ringside News app and get talking on the Ringside Talk app! Enjoy the show!

Several Matches Confirmed for Tonight’s SmackDown & 205 Live Tapings

As seen at Sunday’s WWE Battleground event, Nakamura won his match against Baron Corbin via disqualification when he was nailed in the crotch by Corbin. PWInsider reports that a rematch is set to take place between the two at tonight’s SmackDown Live Event from Richmond, Virginia.

Speaking of tonight’s tapings, Neville will face Ariya Daivari and Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann will team together to take on the team of Tony Nese & TJP.

Check back here at 8PM ET for our live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s event.

Internal Concern Within WWE Over Recent Cutbacks

WWE is expected to announce their earning reports this Thursday and there is some internal concern within the company regarding those reports.

Bryan Alvarez discussed the earning reports on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live and mentioned that he heard that employees within the company are worried, especially with the recent cutbacks. With the decision to cut pyros from weekly programming and cutting shows with low viewership from the network, has many concerned.

Speaking of pyros, Alvarez mentioned that the company spent millions of dollars on the WrestleMania 33 set, which attributed to the company cutting the pyros. The decision to drop pyros for the time being was a cost cutting measure and Alvarez indicated that there is a chance that WWE may bring the pyros back in the future.

The Taz Show Recap – RAW Analysis, Angle & Jordan Storyline Feels Strange, Tweaking Cass As A Heel, More!

Block 1:

Taz opens today’s show speaking about last night’s episode of RAW.

Taz thinks the progression of this Kurt Angle/Jason Jordan storyline is getting a little strange. The storyline as a whole doesn’t bother him, but he way Angle and Jordan are performing is really weird right now. Taz thinks there’s another part of this story that hasn’t been revealed yet, and a part of him thought Jordan was actually going to turn heel during his debut RAW match last night.

Taz also thinks that WWE should change up Jordan’s ring gear. He doesn’t think Jordan should be using the red, white and blue colours for his entrance or for his ring gear. Instead, he should use gold as his primary colour, so there’ll still be a connection to Angle while he establishes his own brand as well.

A listener calls into the show and asks Taz how he’d fantasy book a Shield reunion. Taz says he wouldn’t book a Shield reunion at all, and he wishes WWE would stop teasing it. He wouldn’t have even had Ambrose and Rollins team up last night, because he doesn’t see a reason to reunite those three men. They’ve all gone out on their own and have become singles stars, so there’s no reason to reunite them right now.

Another listener calls into the show and talks about how good Roman Reigns is at selling, especially for a big man. Taz agrees entirely and says that selling is just another thing that Reigns does not get enough credit for.

Nikki Bella Fuels SummerSlam Return Rumors

It was reported via PWInsider that there has been internal talk within WWE about bringing back Nikki Bella for this year’s SummerSlam event.

Nikki Bella played up to these rumors in a new video posted to the Bella Twins YouTube channel. Nikki teased the possibility of a SummerSlam appearance after she asked why they weren’t in the Fatal 5-Way match at Sunday’s WWE BattleGround event. Brie then mentioned that there are rumors that Nikki may be at SummerSlam, with Nikki saying that there may be a surprise.

You can check out her remarks at the 1 minute mark in the video embedded below:

Huge Match Set for SmackDown Live Next Week

Daniel Bryan announced on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live that John Cena will face Nakamura on next week’s show. The winner of that match will be the #1 contender for the WWE Championship and will face Jinder Mahal for the title at SummerSlam.

As of this writing, no other matches or segments have been announced for next week’s show but we will keep you updated.

WWE 205 Live Results – July 25 2017

Welcome to the fastest hour on television, 205 Live!

Tonight’s show features the Cruiserweight Champion, King Neville in action in the main event! Neville faces Ariya Daivari, a man who has made a name for himself recently by destroying Akira Tozawa. Last night, Daivari attacked Tozawa again but this time, he also took the fight to Neville! The audacity! Daivari clearly believes he is on the Neville level and tonight he has a chance to prove it. I could easily see a scenario in which Tozawa interferes tonight and we end up with a Triple Threat at SummerSlam, although that might leave us with too many multi-man matches at the summer showcase.

Also on tonight’s 205 Live, TJP and Rich Swann continue their seemingly friendly battle for supremacy as they partake in tag team action, albeit on separate teams. TJP teams with Tony Nese tonight to take on Rich Swann and Cedric Alexander, in which should be a great match.

I’d also expect to see Noam Dar, Mustafa Ali, Drew Gulak, Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher on tonight’s show. Let us know what you’re excited to see, or not excited to see, on the free Ringside Talk app and remember to enjoy the show!
