WWE apparently held a meeting with all the NXT roster at the Performance Center in Orlando last week. The talents were told that they will be paid based on their development deals and will not be receiving bonuses for the NXT Takeover specials or the upcoming UK tour in December. The reasons were said to be that NXT is currently running at a loss as it is heavily investing back to improve the brand’s long term standing, as well as the costs of running and operating the state of the art WWE Performance Center which makes it unreasonable to go on with bonus model for wrestlers’ income.
In what could be a possible spoiler, WWE has now a large inventory of the John Cena United States Title t-shirts ready to be put on the merchandise stores. Cena is slated to face Rollins for the United States championship at Night of Champions pay-per-view later this month, where Rollins is doing double duty as he will face Sting for the WWE Championship later that night.
TNA has announced that the TNA Hall of Famer Kurt angle will make his return to the company at a live event in Salem, VA on October 3rd. Kurt Angle is also slated to perform for TNA at their biggest pay-per-view Bound For Glory the next day, although no word yet on who he is going to face.
As previously reported, Angle plans on not renewing his deal with TNA after his current contract expires and is looking to take a break from pro wrestling and figure out the direction of his career moving forward.
Kurt Angle was interviewed by the Mark Madden’ radio show and revealed that he is not going to continue with TNA after his current deal expires at the end of 2015. Below are some of the highlights:
Angle says he wants to take a break from pro-wrestling and therefore is not going to sign the deal with TNA. Although Angle will be at this year’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view next month.
He won’t be trying to get into the WWE during the break.
He is not sure of the situation between TNA and Destination America, saying nothing has been said to him about the matter. He says he hopes that something works out as there are many great talents in TNA.
He says he’s dedicated to TNA until his deal expires and then see what happens, adding that TNA has always treated him well. He says people don’t really know how good Dixie Carter has been to him.
He says a WWE return is always possible for a final match but he’s currently not desperate to do anything so he can retire. Angle says he’s happy with his career and will decide further about the next steps in his time off.
Gunner responds to the reports of him kicking an indi fan named Adrian Rohn at a recent PWX event in North Carolina. The incident was alledgedly due to some negative posts which the fan posted on social media criticizing Gunner while the “Dixie’s reject” chants by the crowd also added fuel to the fire.
Here is the full transcript of the response posted on Facebook:
“Heres the “report” from a dirt sheet obviously bashing me.In 15 years i have never touched a fan. In 15 years i have never let a Chant get me mad or angry or what ever it says. The “dixie”s reject” Chant was awesome and i used it to better the promo and story. Im loving all the backlashing here from people that wasn’t even there. I feel its time to protect myself and say something. Will i apologize? no because fans need to know their boundaries. If you watch i shoved this guy Adrian Rohr back with my boot. This isn’t the first time that PWX has had issues with him. Ask Billy Brash, ask Brian Kanabroski who runs PWX. Do i care that he has bashed me using his keyboard at home? NO. I still lay my head down at night on a pillow that i worked hard to pay for. Do i care that Thomas Simpson and Greg Price trash me? No. i remember a few years ago how much they loved and praised me for my hard work. I still don’t understand the hatred these 2 have for me but OL well. Ask Abel Adams about me. He has been there when a fan rushed the ring towards me. I will protect myself. I have way more saying i did the right thing as Rohr came towards the ring and slapped the mat while throwing me the finger. The seats that night where 8 to10 feet back from the ring. I will leave it at this. I am a professional, regardless of opinions, and i will stand up for myself and this business. I have enough emails, pictures and reliable sources and info to prove there have been more than this incident involving this fan. God bless and thanks to all my supporters and to my haters……Thanks even more cause you make me work harder. Until next time
Former TNA star Gunner was reportedly involved in an incident with a fan at a PWX event on September 6th in North Carolina. The Wrestling Observer reported that a Indie fan named Adrian Rohr, who is a regular at many wrestling events, had written negative comments about Gunner on social media and Gunner was not particularly happy about that. Fans were chanting “Dixie’s reject” at Gunner, which might have led to him kicking Rohr in the chest and that too in front of his young son. It is to be noted that PWX promotion has no barriers at ringside.
While many wrestlers took Gunner’s side it is reported by The Observer that the assault was largely unprovoked as Rohr is known as a respectful fan.
Gunner also wrote the following online after the match but was deleted thereafter:
“And for the record, don’t be an idiot fan and step up to my ring. You will get kicked.”
On recent reports by wrestling observer that WWE officials aren’t happy with Sunny, she has responded by posting on Facebook:
“guess what?? the wrestling “news sites” are at it again! Now they are ‘reporting’ that the WWE is unhappy with me due to my current career choices and path… WELL….Let me let you all in on a little something…… The last time the WWE paid me ANYTHING was in 2012, a check for $1000, for an interview I did at Axxess during WM weekend. Before that it was 2011, a check for $5000, for the HOF weekend that I was inducted. NOTHING since then, not even royalties. They have done NOTHING to help me pay MY BILLS, and have paid me ZERO in 3 1/2 YEARS!! So, I ask you:::: WHY THE HELL SHOULD I BE CONCERNED WITH WHAT THEIR OPINION IS ON MY CAREER CHOICE, IF THEY ARE NOT CONCERNED IN THE LEAST BIT WITH MY FINANCIAL WELL-BEING AND STABILITY AND ABILITY TO PAY MY LIVING EXPENSES???? So I should live in a cardboard box just to make the WWE look good??? I THINK NOT. I’m making more $$ weekly than they used to pay me weekly when I was on the road with them FULL-TIME!!!! SO, until they start paying me weekly, I will continue to do what is best for ME, and no one else. So for now, THAT IS ALL.”
“Hey, yeah I do skypes.. Yeah Ive had a couple DUI’s. Yeah I spent some time in rehab and in prison…. SO F**KING WHAT. You all have never done ANYTHING wrong? I’ve made mistakes just like every one else. You move on. I LOVE WHO I AM…. and that’s all that matters. I’d rather have done the things I’ve done, than lived a boring uneventful life! Am I ashamed of any of it???? HELL NO!! It’s not like I’ve ever tried to kill anyone…. but hey, there’s still time , right??? hahahahahaha”
Tom Prichard, whom Sunny managed in WWE as the part of “Bodydonnas” tag team with Chris Candido, shared his opinion on Sunny:
“I’m responsible for me, you’re responsible for you, Sunny is responsible for Sunny. She’s had a lot of things happen in her life but when we were together, as a team and with Chris, she could be a pretty nasty person. Just not a nice person. I don’t wish bad or harm or negativity towards anybody whatsoever, but you gotta believe sometimes karma does bite you in the ass. I don’t like what’s happened to Sunny, don’t think anybody should have to go through that but if you’ve been to rehab more than 5 times, there’s a little part in there where they talk about those poor unfortunate souls that can’t be saved. There is a part in there, I know because I’ve been three times. I get it, I understand. Sunny has to help Sunny. If its got to be under supervision, she needs supervision. She needs help, she needs to go to meetings, she needs people around her. She needs a sponsor, she needs support. But you’ve got to want it and you have to want to do it. I feel bad for her but at the same time, you get what you sow sometimes. And that’s a bad thing. I don’t’ wish her any harm but you know what, she wasn’t a very nice lady.”
Sunny has replied back to the comments on Facebook again:
“Finding out more and more how FAKE some people have been to my face for a 20 year period, whom I thought were friends, almost family. That’s OK. Just WAIT til you see how I AM to YOUR face the next time I see you….. Not gonna be pretty. ?#?TalkBehindMyBack? ?#?PhonyToMyFace? ?#?NoBallsToBeReal? ?#?Pussies? ?#?You?’llGetWhatsComingToYou”

Owen Hart’s brother Bret Hart has expressed his opinion about the product in his recent interview with The Fight Network
“I’m looking forward to it but I’m not really optimistic that it’s going to be a great job. Martha [Hart, Owen’s widow] handcuffed them so much. I don’t know if they’re even allowed to use any pictures from the past. It’s a poorly done DVD because of all the restraints and the limitations that Martha put on it. To me, that’s such a lousy thing to have happen. I think Owen would turn in his grave if he knew how much trouble Martha has gone to erase his career and make sure that nobody enjoys anything about his career today. It’s a bitterness and selfishness that I can’t stand by anymore. I think Martha’s taken the wrong approach and she should understand that, you know, we all miss Owen. I lost a brother, I lost a great friend and maybe one of the closest people I knew on this earth. I want to celebrate his career, I want to watch his matches back – not just with me, but with everybody he worked with. His time with WWE, they got so much footage and so many great memories with Owen, and here she is standing in the way of that saying, “Nobody can see these videos. No one should see anything that brings back any of his career.” […] They couldn’t use any pictures from his childhood, they couldn’t use anything from Stampede Wrestling. They had so many restraints. Even the interviews, the questions that they did with me were so bulls–t. The whole thing was so bulls–t that sure, there’s an Owen Hart DVD, but it’s the s–ts. […] I think WWE maybe had good intentions, but I’m not very impressed with the quality that it’s going to be. I haven’t seen it, I’m not optimistic but I’m hoping that it’ll be better than I think. But I could tell by the questions that they asked me and the interview that they did with me that it was a very short version of [Owen’s story]. I’m not really gonna hold up hope that it’s gonna be as great as it should be, and I feel bad because that’s Martha’s fault.”

Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and a mystery partner
In a photo posted on WWE.com, which was later deleted, WWE may have inadvertently spoiled the six-man tag match at Night of Champions. As seen in the picture NXT‘s Baron Corbin is featured as the 3rd man alongside Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to take on the Wyatt Family.
Regarding an earlier rumor of former Wyatt member Eric Rowan returning, it seems rather unlikely now. Rowan has been out of action since June of this year after suffering a torn bicep and was said to recover in 4-6 months. A surprise return is always a possibility but more people are expecting him to be back around November.
