Warrant Issued For Former Impact Wrestling Star

That’s a bit more serious. Wrestling is like any other industry in the world: there are going to be some people who wind up in some trouble, and it can be for some very serious things. Some of these can result in the person getting in some legal trouble and it can even wind up seeing them locked up for a bit. We might be seeing that again for a former wrestler in the near future.
According to PWInsider.com, a bench warrant has been issues for former Impact Wrestling star Rhaka Khan prior to her upcoming trial on charges of aggravated kidnapping facilitate and interference with child custody. This kind of warrant can be issued when someone misses a scheduled hearing, though it is not clear if that is the case with Khan. Her trial is set to begin on October 4. Khan wrestled for Impact Wrestling from 2008-2009 and last wrestled in 2011.
You might not remember her. Check out Khan’s time in Impact Wrestling:

VIDEO: New WWE Title Challenger Emerges

I guess he’s next. The World Title is the biggest and most important championship a promotion can have. The name alone is about all you need to hear: the wrestler holding it is the best in the world. You might hear it called by a variety of names but it is about as simple of a concept as possible. Now we know who is coming for one of the most prominent titles in wrestling.
This week’s Monday Night Raw ended with WWE Champion Big E. successfully defending his title against Bobby Lashley inside a steel cage. Following the match, the cage was raised and Drew McIntyre appeared, pointing his sword at Big E., who nodded in return. This would suggest that McIntyre is the next challenger for the title. The two have not had a singles match since 2014.
This could be an interesting one. Check out who we might be seeing going head to head:

Run It Back: Stable Reforms On Monday Night Raw

Reunion special. Stables are one of the easiest ideas in wrestling because they allow wrestlers to get together and save a lot of time. There are some legendary stables over the years and some of them have been very successful. We have seen a bit of a renaissance of stables in recent years and now a recently split one seems to be primed for another crack at success.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley challenged Big E. for the WWE Title. Near the end of the match, Big E. speared Lashley through the ropes, where Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin appeared. The two were wearing Hurt Business shirts and nodded to Lashley, suggesting that the team was back together before the match ended in a disqualification. The Hurt Business, also including MVP, formed last year and saw success, including winning the Raw Tag Team Titles. They would ultimately split in January of this year, with Benjamin and Alexander being thrown out.
You might remember the Hurt Business. Check out some of..

205 Live Results – September 24, 2021

205 Live
Date: September 24, 2021
Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Nigel McGuinness, Vic Joseph
The new (again) 205 Live continues as they have been running three matches a week, plus often dropping the weight limit. Throw in some women’s matches and this show is actually looking like something different for a change. I’m not saying that is going to lead to a good show, but at least it isn’t all the same. Let’s get to it.
Xyon Quin vs. Oney Lorcan Lorcan takes him into the corner to start as the fans seem to be behind Quin. Some chops and a ram into the corner don’t do much to Quin, who is right back with a spinning elbow. Lorcan kicks the leg out though and starts hammering away and another shot to the knee gets two. The chinlock doesn’t last long as Quin powers up and strikes Lorcan into the corner, setting up a running shoulder to the ribs. A ripcord forearm knocks Lorcan silly for the pin at 3:17.
Result: Xyon Quin b. Oney Lorcan – Ripcord forea..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – September 27, 2021

Monday Night Raw
Date: September 27, 2021
Location: Heritage Bank Center, Cincinnati, Ohio
Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton
We’re done with Extreme Rules and the biggest changes involve a doll and this show. First up, Charlotte destroyed Lillie the doll last night, sending Alexa Bliss into an emotional breakdown. Other than that we have a WWE Championship match set for the top of the show, because Monday Night Football is going to kill them otherwise. Let’s get to it.
We open with a recap of Big E. cashing in Money in the Bank to win the WWE Title, plus pinning Bobby Lashley again last night at Extreme Rules in a six man tag. The rematch is set for tonight.
WWE Title: Big E. vs. Bobby Lashley Big E. is defending and after the Big Match Intros, we’re ready to go. Lashley powers him into the corner to start so Big E. fires off a slap to the face. That earns him a beating in the corner and a snap suplex for less than one. A clothesline puts Big E. on the floor but ..

Monday Night Raw Star Going Away For A Few Months

Until we meet again? There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and it can be difficult to find something for all of them to do. WWE only has so much television time to go around and sometimes they need to do something to free up some of their time and space. This can be easier said than done in some cases but now we might know who is the next to take a break.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, Alexa Bliss will be leaving WWE television in the near future, though it is not clear why she is leaving or exactly when. Bliss lost a Raw Women’s Title match to Charlotte at Extreme Rules, after which Charlotte ripped up Lillie the doll, leaving Bliss screaming and crying. Bliss is said to be leaving WWE television for a few months and it is not known when she will be back.
Bliss has a complicated history. Check out some of her time in WWE:

Next Year’s WWE Royal Rumble Will Be A Little Bit Different

Road trip. There are certain wrestling shows that are more important than others and WWE does a good job at making them feel special. Some of the company’s events have a long history with all kinds of moments taking place over the years. It can be exciting when these shows are added to the WWE calendar and one of the biggest is getting a little twist next time.
WWE has announced that the 2022 Royal Rumble will be taking place at The Dome in St. Louis on Saturday January 29, 2022. This will be the first time in the show’s thirty plus year history that the event has been held on a Saturday. There is no word on why the change was made, but it comes after Summerslam was held on a Saturday for the first time in its history earlier this year.
This is pretty cool. Check out some great Royal Rumble moments from years past:

VIDEO: Roman Reigns Does Puts On A Mask During WWE Extreme Rules

He’s a considerate Head Of The Table. There have not been many stars in recent WWE history to reach the same levels as Roman Reigns. After being pushed as a top star for years, Reigns has finally unlocked everything by becoming the top villain in the company. This has been a complete change of pace for him, but he still did something nice during his latest match.
Reigns was in action during this weekend’s WWE Extreme Rules event. The show’s main event featured Reigns vs. Finn Balor for Reigns’ Universal Title in an Extreme Rules match. The match saw the two brawl throughout the arena, including into the crowd. As the two went into the crowd, Reigns put on a face mask due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation. Reigns would go on to win the match and retain his title.
That’s about as cool as you can get. Check out Reigns going into the crowd plus some other masked moments in wrestling:

WWE Extreme Rules Undergoes Embarrassing Technical Problems

That’s a problem. WWE is a huge wrestling promotion and they have a lot of things going on at the same time. Above all else though is presenting a wrestling product, which can be a little more complicated than it might seem. Sometimes things are going to happen that aren’t in the original plans, and some of those can be very notable. That was the case during a major event.
During Sunday’s Extreme Rules, the show’s audio was not working as planned, with the Spanish commentary feed leaking in along with the English. This took place during the Kickoff Show match between Carmella and Liv Morgan but was corrected during the match. The problem came back during the show’s first match between New Day and the team of Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles and Omos, though this time it was the French commentary. The audio was corrected before the end of the six man tag. Commentator Pat McAfee referenced the issues later in the show.
You might be able to notice. Check out the two matches where this happened,..

RUMOR: Important Name Backstage At SmackDown

Here he comes again. There have been a lot of changes taking place in the WWE over the last year and a half and several of them have not been the most well received. A lot of those problems have seemed to stem from new WWE President Nick Khan, who has seemed intent on cutting costs anywhere he can. Khan making moves is quite the event, and now we might be seeing something else soon.
According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, Khan was backstage at this week’s SmackDown, though it is not clear why he was present at the show. Khan appearing at television events is not a normal occurrence. Khan was working with Vince McMahon and the company’s higher ups throughout the day. It is not known if he will be around at television more frequently or if this was a one off event.
Source states WWE president Nick Khan was backstage in Philadelphia last night for SmackDown, and was involved w/ Vince & Co throughout the day. Source wasn’t sure the nature of the meetings, but went on to say Khan b..

Well Done: Series Of WWE Matches Receiving Backstage Praise

They have an audience. With so much WWE content these days, wrestlers have a harder and harder time getting noticed. It isn’t easy to stand out among all of these other talented people, so it can be all the more impressive when someone does manage to make that big of an impression. It seems that two more people have done just that and WWE seems to be rather pleased.
According to F4WOnline, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair’s live event matches and dark matches have been receiving strong reviews. The matches were designed to help get the two ready for their Extreme Rules match where Lynch defended her SmackDown Women’s Title. Lynch returned last month at Summerslam, defeating Belair in 26 seconds to win the title.
They look to be working. Check out what Lynch and Belair have done:

Seth Rollins: “I Was Ready To Strangle Vince McMahon”

That’s certainly extreme. WWE has a lot of wrestlers on its roster and they are going to be able to offer a lot of things to the audience. While the most obvious result is their in-ring work, you also get to see them doing things outside of the ring, including quite a bit of talking. That was the case again this week, and a WWE star had something interesting to say about his boss.
Seth Rollins was the guest on the latest edition of Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions. During the interview, Rollins discussed his Hell in a Cell match against the Fiend at Hell In A Cell 2019. Rollins said that he did not like the way the match went and “wanted to strangle” Vince McMahon after the match. TJ Wilson had to hold Rollins back and he had a calmer discussion with McMahon the following day. The match was named the Worst Match Of The Year by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and featured a referee stoppage after Rollins crushed Fiend’s head with a mallet.
Here is what Rollins said, with transcr..
