TNA Star Injured during the UK Tour


Davey Richards of The Wolves has suffered a knee injury at the ongoing UK tour. TNA reported on their twitter that an MRI is scheduled and the initial diagnosis states it is a “meniscus issue”

Davey Richards is their current tag team champion and the injury happened during Impact Wrestling tapings in Birhingham, England.

Batista to return for Wrestlemania 32?


According to the rumors, Dave Bautista was seen backstage at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view as he was invited for a secret meeting with Vince McMahon where he was approached for an appearance in the upcoming Wrestlemania. This is said to be a one-time deal to spice up the card for Wrestlemania 32. WWE is said to be in panic mode with many major stars are on the sidelines due to various injuries.

However, the pitch was rejected by the former WWE Champion as it was not considered good enough by Batista. There still seems to be a chance for him coming as both sides are open to possibilities.

Shinsuke Nakamura to WWE update


Shinsuke Nakamura who was signed by the WWE in the beginning of this year has finished up his NJPW commitments this past Saturday. Nakamura will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center this week to begin his transition to the company.

The Japanese Superstar is set to compete with Sami Zayn at the coming NXT TakeOver special titled “Dallas”.

Update on John Cena and Nikki Bella


John Cena who underwent surgery on January 7 on his injured right shoulder, posted update on his recovery process on social media.

Former WWE Divas champion Nikki Bella also posted an update saying she is “feeling better everyday”. Nikki underwent a risky neck surgery on Wednesday to repair a herniated disc which goes behind the vertabrae. She is expected to rest with minimal rest for three months and to be reevaluted in six months time to decide if she can resume her in ring career.

AJ Styles’ debut in WWE met with positive online reaction.


Since making his debut at the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles has been the talk of the online world for all the right reasons. Coming at # 3 during the main event rumble match, AJ shocked and cheered everyone in the arena and the twitter was abuzz. Although Styles was eliminated by Kevin Owens, he managed to survive in the Rumble for approximately 30 minutes.

The video of his debut has been played over 2.6 million times, along with an unseen video with over 1 million views. His match with Chris Jericho is also a hit in YouTube with 1.5 million views. One look at the WWE official YouTube page and one can sense the enthusiasm among people of AJ finally singing with the company.

Styles’ shirt also sold out within a few hours on the WWE shop website and his new theme song titled Phenomenol cracked the iTunes Top 200 chart and was at #70 at one point within a day of it being uploaded.

WWE extends their gaming licence with 2K Games


2K Games and WWE have signed a multi year deal that will continue their licensing agreement.

2K has been releasing WWE console games with their WWE 2K series which started with WWE 2K14, after WWE’s previous game partner THQ went bankrupt in 2013.

Awesome Kong involved in an altercation with Reby Sky


TNA wrestler Awesome Kong has been sent home after she had a backstage arguement with Matt Hardy’s girlfriend Reby Sky. TNA was on the first day of their UK tour when the incident happened. It is unclear at this moment what this mean for Kong’s future with TNA.

PWInsider reports that Kong attacked/ tried to attack Sky physically before being restrained by security. Matt and Reby Hardy’s son was also in the nearby when the fight broke out.

Alberto Del injured, misses WWE live shows


It appears that another WWE superstar is going to be out of action as Alberto Del Rio is, according to PWinsider is suffering from a lower back issue.

The injury results from one of Brock Lesnar’s vertical suplexes at this past Sunday’s Royal Rumble main event.
Del Rio did made an appearance on RAW but didn’t wrestled and was not even backstage at Tuesday’s Smackdown tapings.

He was also scheduled to face Kalisto on weekend live shows but has been pulled out. Del Rio is set to be re-evaluated this coming Monday in Birmingham, Alabama. Del Rio is scheduled to face Kalisto at the Fastlane special on February 21st.

Jeff Hardy sings a new deal with TNA Wrestling


Contrary to the speculation regarding a WWE return, Jeff Hardy has once again re-signed with TNA. Dixie Carter made the announcement on Twitter although no details about the nature of the deal was disclosed.

This puts a break on the rumors about Hardy returning to WWE this year around Wrestlemania. Although Jeff, and his brother Matt Hardy has expressed a desire to come back to the WWE, the injury to Jeff’s leg has momentarily put a stop on that happening.

Matt Hardy is the current TNA champion while Jeff is looking to recover from his injury in the coming months.
