Can this mean that Hulk Hogan will enjoy another appearance at Wrestlemania 33. He has done this many times in the past sharing the ring with The Rock & Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 30 in the SUPERDOME
The last we saw of Hogan was in 2015 since being fired in 2015 after audiotapes of a racial tirade leaked. The fans were angry with Hogan but now that the dust is settled, it’s time that he returns to the WWE ring, obviously not for wrestling but for entertaining his fans.

We are sad to inform that Chavo Guerrero Sr. who was the brother of Lt. Eddie Guerrero and father of Chavo Guerrero Jr. has passed away at the age of 68 on February 11, 2017. He was known for his work in Universal Wrestling Federation (UWF), American Wrestling Association (AWA) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
According to a report by NoDQ, it was revealed that the reason why WWE veteran ”The Big Red Monster” Kane did not compete in the 2017 Traditional 30-man Royal Rumble Match is because he has been dealing with nagging injuries over the last few months. Kane was a shocking omission from the bout at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.
Also, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Kane has been out of action to deal with several nagging injuries. Kane has been out of action since early December. His last televised match was a victory over ”The Bearded Brawler from the Backwoods” Luke Harper on the November 29th episode of Smackdown Live.
Kane has built quite the legacy for himself in the Royal Rumble over the years, which is why fans were so surprised to see that he didn’t compete this year around. Since his first Rumble Match back in 1996, Kane has made a record 19 appearances in the Rumble which is seven more than any other superstar in history. Also, he has eliminated the most people in history with 44 eliminations across two decades.
Kane turns 50 a few weeks post WrestleMania 33, the question remains as to whether or not he will once again compete in the Rumble Match next year in Philadelphia, PA. But, for now the most important thing for Kane is that he gets healthy with the aim of a 20th Rumble appearance on his mind.
And, understandably so, WWE has been promoting that Sunday’s WWE Championship match will take place in an “all new” Elimination Chamber.
No details are available at the moment on what changes were made, however, Stephanie McMahon told The Wrestling Compadres Slamcast in 2015 that WWE had dropped the event due to the logistics of hanging the Chamber, which weighs slightly above 10 tons.
Also, there were problems arising whilst hanging the Chamber structure above the ring in some arenas, because many buildings/arenas now have large scoreboards where the structure would be. WWE did end up bring back the Elimination Chamber after Stephanie’s interview as a Network special.
– A new match has been announced for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 PPV. ”Two Promising Talents” will go head-to-head in singles competition on the ”Kickoff Show” of the pay-per-view.
Mojo Rawley versus Curt Hawkins for Sunday’s WWE Elimination Chamber Kickoff-Show.
The updated match card for Sunday’s pay-per-view from Phoenix, AZ stands as follows:-

The Miz vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose vs. A.J. Styles vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Baron Corbin vs. John Cena (c)
Tag Team Turmoil for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship:
The Ascension vs. ”The Beauty & The Man-Beast” Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. The Vaudevillains vs. Breezango vs. The Usos vs. American Alpha (c)
Singles Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship:
Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss (c)
2-on-1 Handicap Match:
Kalisto and Apollo Crews vs. Dolph Ziggler
Wrestlemania has always been the hub of unexpected & over the top battles. Feuds that build up inside the ring all through the year are sorted out once in for all at Wrestlemania. All the big names come out of their shell and fight at the grandest stage of them all.
Shaquille O’Neal vs Big Show is the match that is almost certain to happen this year at Wrestlemania.
Apart from this other big matches like The Undertaker vs Roman Reigns, AJ Styles vs Shane Mcmahon looks on the cards.
The big turmoil was if Seth Rollins is going to be fit to compete at Wrestlemania, now with that being a certainty the match between Samoa Joe & Rollins looks on the cards at Wrestlemania 33 instead of Fastlane. Samoa Joe who is being called the ‘Destroyer’ looks more than willing to make his first Wrestlemania as big as possible and facing Seth Rollins is going to intrigue many eyes.
With that being fixed it leaves Triple H without a legit opponent. Where some were barging for The Rock to come for one more match, rumors are flaming up that Batista who left the company as he was not happy, the way things were going on inside the ring could use a one-time appearance to draw in audiences and WWE could piggyback on this and promote it as a typical authority vs Batista feud.
Although the chances of this looks feeble but anything can happen in Vince’s yard.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are more matches set to be announced for the final RAW-exclusive pay-per-view on the Road to WrestleMania 33.
Initial matches that have already been officially announced on this week are as under:
– On Monday Night RAW, ”The Icon” Goldberg challenging ”Mr Wrestling” Kevin Owens for a bout with the WWE Universal Championship up for grabs, which ”The 61-Minute Man” Chris Jericho accepting on Kevin’s behalf.
– On Monday Night RAW, ”Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman decimated four enhancement talents before storming off to backstage, looking for RAW General Manager ”The Hardcore Legend” Mick Foley. Braun has been demanding for ”competition” from the RAW GM ever since the Brand Split and he proclaimed that he wanted more competition and Foley took his demand under consideration, and booked a match for Strowman at the WWE Fastlane 2017 PPV against ”The Big Dog” Roman Reigns.
– On Tuesday at WWE 205 Live, ”The Gentleman” Jack Gallagher won a Fatal Five-Way Elimination Match to be crowned the #1 Contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Gallagher defeated the likes of Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, Noam Dar, and T.J. Perkins by pinning Perkins down on the mat in the end. Now, Jack Gallagher is set to face the reigning champion ”The King of the Cruiserweights” Neville at WWE Fastlane 2017 pay-per-view.
As far as the rest of the matches for the event are concerned, nothing else has been officially announced/advertised at the moment. But,
– It appears that there will be a RAW Tag Team Championship Match with ”The Good Brothers” Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson defending their titles, either in a Triple Threat Match feat. the teams of Sheamus & Cesaro, and Enzo & Big Cass; or a Fatal-4-Way by adding The New Day in the mix.
– According to some reports, it is believed that Chris Jericho may defend his US Championship against ”The Underdog from the Underground” Sami Zayn.
– The RAW Women’s Championship match will probably be announced soon enough after next week’s title defense. As announced this week on Monday Night RAW, Bayley is booked to face the reigning champion ”The Queen” Charlotte with the title up for the taking next week on RAW airing live from Las Vegas, Nevada.
DETAILS FOR THE EVENT:
We are three weeks away from the WWE Fastlane 2017 pay-per-view, which will air Live! on the WWE Network and on PPV from the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI on March 5th.

On Tuesday, ”The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio (aka Alberto El Patron in the independent circuit) appeared on the Busted Open satellite radio show with Dave LaGreca and Larry Dallas and offered an update on her current girlfriend Paige returning to in-ring action.
Here’s what Alberto said:
“I’m 100% sure that she [Paige] will be the most successful female wrestler of all time. She just needs to get well and she’ll be back in the ring around April or May, I don’t know when the doctors’ have their final decision.”
In October 2016, Paige underwent a surgery after sustaining some nerve damage in her back & shoulder region. She was drafted to the flagship show Monday Night RAW in the brand extension draft, but she has not competed on WWE TV since June.
It has been close to five months since Paige’s surgery. However, she is not in-ring shape yet, you know, she’s still unfit to take bumps in the ring. According to Dave Meltzer, she is still a long way from making a return to the ring.
Initial reports had suggested that she will be back in time for WrestleMania 33 in Orlando in April, she is more likely to return around the summer of 2017.
Recently, Paige tweeted that she has started physio-therapy and is looking to make a comeback to the squared circle as soon as possible.
Daniel Bryan celebrated the one year anniversary of his retirement this week, which had to be bittersweet, considering the well know fact that Bryan didn’t want to retire and he was medically cleared by medical professionals outside of WWE, but sadly WWE doctors wouldn’t clear him to compete inside the squared circle.
The SmackDown Live GM has a storied history withThe Miz, and the two have been feuding ever since Bryan stepped foot in WWE. The Miz was Bryan’s ”Pro” on WWE NXT TV. Then some time later, Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz to capture the U.S. Title at the ”Night of Champions” pay-per-view. The feud has resurfaced after all these years after the Brand Split last year, despite the fact that Daniel Bryan is no longer an active in-ring competitor, and The Miz has been throwing verbal jabs left-and-right towards Bryan because he knows there’s nothing Bryan can do about it.
Daniel Bryan (fka Bryan Danielson in the independent circuit) recently appeared on the Gorilla Position podcast, and when he was asked if he will ever return to the ring he noted that if you ask WWE then the answer they will give is a firm “no.”
However, Bryan noted that although a return is unlikely, he also said that you can “never say never.”
“As far as I know, no. You know the one thing about this, in any form of entertainment or fighting, or sport, is ‘never say, never,’ right? I keep going to different things and I keep working on the doctor standpoint of it, ‘Okay, is there anything that I can do more to get cleared?’ and right now I’ve done everything I can possibly do, and so, but I still look at different things and still look at this and that.”
