Omos Reveals His One Of A Kind Medical Issues

That sounds worse. Wrestlers are larger than life characters with personalities that are often over the top and meant to be as big as possible. That can often come with bodies that are literally larger than most, as you see some wrestlers who dwarf most normal people. However, those wrestlers have their own issues, and now one of the biggest wrestlers ever has revealed some previous problems.
During a recent appearance on the Out Of Character podcast, Monday Night Raw star Omos revealed that he had a brain tumor removed when he was 18 years old. Omos was playing college basketball at the time when an MRI revealed the tumor. As he was getting ready to have the tumor removed, he was diagnosed with partial Cushing’s Disease. Omos said that he was the first person ever recorded with a tumor on his pituitary gland, a brain tumor and Cushing’s Disease, which resulted in a medical journal article about his case.
Opinion: What matters most is that Omos seems to have these issues cleaned up a..

Quick Switch: Change Of Plans In Recent WWE Return

That would have been strange. Wrestlers rely on their reputations quite a bit and the first impression can make a hue impact. There are only so many ways to debut in wrestling and if it goes wrong, the wrestler can be fighting out of a hole in a hurry. It seems that a recent return was almost a lot worse, as the result of someone’s first match back almost went very differently.
Mustafa Ali returned from a six month hiatus this week on Monday Night Raw. Ali defeated the Miz when he returned, but according to Fightful Select, the original plan called for Ali to lose. The plans called for Miz to win the match until Sunday afternoon when WWE made a change. In addition, WWE has not frozen Ali’s contract for the time that he was gone, though they may extend it in the future.
Opinion: That could have been a lot worse, as I don’t want to imagine how bad it would have been to have Ali return and then lose in his first match back. Ali is someone with a lot of talent, but it isn’t going to matt..

VIDEO: Second Generation Star Makes NXT Debut

The new generation. There are a lot of wrestlers throughout the world today and some of them are the children of previous wrestlers. In a way, these wrestlers have a leg up on others as they have grown up around someone in the industry and have probably been given some insight on how things work. It can be fascinating to see how they do as a result and that seems to be the case again.
Arianna Grace made her debut on NXT this week, appearing in a vignette announcing her entry into the first ever women’s Breakout Tournament. Grace is formerly known as Bianca Carelli and is the daughter of former WWE star Santino Marella. She has previously wrestled for the NWA and signed with WWE earlier this year. There is no word on if Santino will be appearing in WWE with Grace.
Welcome to the team. Check out Graces’s debut:

NXT Results – April 26, 2022

NXT
Date: April 26, 2022
Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Wade Barrett, Vic Joseph
Things got weird last week as Joe Gacy suddenly had a cult (minus his one regular follower) and sent them after Bron Breakker. That’s your NXT Title match for next week and….yeah I’m not sure what to expect there. Other than that, we need to start building up the rest of the card and that will probably be done tonight. Let’s get to it.
Nikkita Lyons vs. Lash Legend They go right at the brawling with Lyons getting the better of things and taking her to the ground for some right hands. Legend sends her crashing out to the floor though and a ram into the steps makes it worse. Back in and Lyons gets a sunset flip for two but Legend is back with a spinning side slam for the same. The neck crank has Lyons in trouble but she is back up with the kicks to the leg. There’s a snap suplex to drop Legend and a German suplex does it again. The spinning kick to the chest finishes Leg..

Here’s Why Charlotte Is Likely Losing At WrestleMania Backlash

It’s a plan. We are less than two weeks away from WrestleMania Backlash and a lot of the card has already been set. There are several matches announced for the show, including some title matches. Those are the most important matches on the show and a title change can be a big shakeup for everyone involved. Now we might know that one of them is coming in advance.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Ronda Rousey is likely to win the SmackDown Women’s Title from Charlotte at WrestleMania Backlash. The idea is that WWE will not want to have Rousey, a UFC legend, lose in an I Quit match, even to Charlotte. In addition, Lacey Evans is returning to SmackDown and is likely to feud with Charlotte, even if she does not have the title any longer.
Opinion: Rousey winning the title is something that almost has to happen, just for the sake of getting the title off of Charlotte. She has held the title long enough that someone has to take it from her and Rousey could use the boost. Evans vs. Char..

Who? Another Long Time WWE Star Gets A Name Change

That’s him. WWE has a lot of resources and one of its biggest is having its own developmental territory in NXT. The company is able to bring up wrestlers who have been appearing on national television whenever they want to but WWE has a bit of a strange habit of changing things up about them in the process. That seems to be the case again with an NXT legend.
Tommaso Ciampa was officially called up to Monday Night Raw earlier this month and became part of the roster. Ciampa appeared on this week’s show when he attacked the returning Mustafa Ali. During the attack, Ciampa was referred to by his last name only, suggesting that his first name had been dropped. In addition, earlier on Monday, TVA Sports Quebec’s Kevin Raphael said that Ciampa had lost the Tommaso name. This comes after WWE has shortened over names in recent weeks.
Tommaso Ciampa is now only Ciampa.
Effective immediately.

Try Again: WWE Had Some Very Different Plans For RKBro

What could have been. WWE has a weird history when it comes to tag teams as it often seems that the company doesn’t like them lasting long term. Other than a handful of teams, WWE rarely has tag teams last long term. You do see them though, and it turns out that one of the most popular teams today was never meant to be around more than a little while in the first place.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE had no intention of keeping RKBro together in the long term. The original plan for the team called for them to be together for only a few weeks before Randy Orton turned on Riddle. Then WWE liked the two together and kept it going, with the team being together for a year now. The team has won the Raw Tag Team Titles twice and are set to compete in a title unification match against SmackDown Tag Team Champions the Usos at WrestleMania Backlash.
Opinion: This isn’t exactly a surprise as WWE has a long history of breaking up teams, but in this case you can see the team’s chemist..

WRESTLING RUMORS: Vince McMahon Sees A Lot Of John Cena In This New Star

That is some serious praise. There are very few wrestlers in WWE history who have become the face of the company. You can probably name them on one hand and being listed in that company is one of the best things that can be said about a wrestler. It might not be the case again at the moment, but now a new star has gotten the attention of Vince McMahon himself and in a good way.
According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, Vince McMahon sees a young John Cena in Theory and is planning to give him everything necessary to be successful. Theory has been paired with McMahon on television for the last few months and is the reigning United States Champion. There is no word on how the push will go or what McMahon considers to be successful for Theory.
Now that his push is in full effect, source states he anticipates bigger & bigger things for Theory. A person with direct knowledge states Vince “sees a young John Cena in Theory” and will “give the kid everything he needs to be successful”

REVIEW: SmackDown – April 25, 2002: The Kid Might Have Something

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be?

We’re in a new era now as HHH is a full time Smackdown wrestler, which I’m sure will last for at least a few weeks. After all you can’t expect the biggest star in the company to be on the B show for very long. Other than that we’re going to get more of the Hulk Hogan nostalgia tour, which wasn’t the most interesting thing in the world earlier this week. Let’s get to it.

WrestleMania Rematch Confirmed For WrestleMania Backlash

Add it to the card. We are less than two weeks away from WWE WrestleMania Backlash and the company has put together a lot of the show. The good thing about this event is that it has a built in theme from its name alone, as WWE can run WrestleMania fallout matches. That seems to be what they are doing, and now we have another case where the name fits the match.
This week on WWE Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley defeated Omos in an arm wrestling match. Following the match, Omos attacked Lashley and left him laying before issuing a challenge to Lashley for a match at WrestleMania Backlash. The match was officially confirmed later in the night on Raw Talk. This will be a rematch from WrestleMania where Lashley defeated Omos.

WWE Star Makes Surprise Return After Six Months, Already Has Multiple Issues

Good to see you again. There are certain things that you learn watching wrestling and one of the biggest is to never say never. No matter what is going on in the wrestling world, there is (almost) always a chance that it can be reversed. Someone can let anger go, a company could change its mind or something else could happen to get rid of an issue. That seems to be the case again.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Mustafa Ali made his return to WWE television after a six month absence. Ali appeared during a MizTV segment in hopes of challenging Theory for the United States Title. Instead he fought and defeated the Miz, only to be jumped by Tommaso Ciampa after the match. Ali was returning after a hiatus due to a backstage argument with Vince McMahon over his character’s future, leading to Ali requesting his release from the company.
Opinion: I didn’t think I would see this again and yet here it is, with Ali not only returning but dealing with multiple people at once. Maybe this doesn’t ..

Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2022 Results

Rebellion 2022
Date: April 24, 2022
Location: Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center, Poughkeepsie, New York
Commentators: Matthew Rehwoldt, Tom Hannifan
It’s back to pay per view for Impact and this time they have made me want to see what they have to offer. The main event is a long awaited showdown between Moose and Josh Alexander for the World Title, after Moose took the title at Bound For Glory and then went after Alexander’s family. The rest of the card looks pretty good too so let’s get to it.
Pre-Show: Eddie Edwards vs. Chris Bey Bey is replacing an injured Jonathan Gresham. There are no seconds here for a change and the fans are behind Bey, complete with the TOO SWEET chants. Feeling out process to start with Bey grabbing a headscissors but getting taken down with a shot to the face. An overhead belly to belly suplex drops Bey again but he fires off some kicks to send Edwards outside.
There’s the big running flip dive, sending Rehwoldt into an Inception reference. Edwards hits..
