Here Are Some Interesting Details On Jeff Hardy’s AEW Debut
They have something in mind. AEW has changed the way modern wrestling works and that is through a rather versatile roster. The company has offered several wrestlers a new place to go, with some of those names being seasoned veterans. This has included some major signings, another of which took place this week. Now we know a bit of an interesting detail about the situation.
This week’s AEW Dynamite featured the debut of Jeff Hardy, who has signed with the company after leaving WWE in December. Jeff saved his brother Matt, along with Sting and Darby Allin, from a beating at the hands of the AFHO. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the team was wearing the same gear they wore in their 20s as a tag team. In addition, according to Fightful Select, Matt has adjusted his AEW contract so that it ends at the same time as Jeff’s, though it is not clear when their contracts expire.
Opinion: I’m not the biggest Hardys fan but this was certainly a moment that could lead to some bigger stuff down the line. Like them or not, the Hardys are one of the most famous and successful tag teams in wrestling history and I can see the benefits of bringing them in for one more run. Having them as the old style Hardys one last time could be interesting, and maybe this is their last run together, hence wanting to leave at the same time.
