“The Queen” Charlotte Flair was riding high coming into tonight's SmackDown Live as she ended Asuka's two-year undefeated streak this past Sunday at WrestleMania 34. Charlotte came out to address the fans regarding what's next for her in terms of who will step up to the plate to challenge for her SmackDown Live Women's Championship.
Flair was then met by some familiar faces from the NXT brand; Billie Kay & Peyton Royce, 'The Iconics'.

'The Iconics' wasted no time making a statement in their main roster debut as they began to beat down the current SmackDown Live Women's Champion. Charlotte Flair not being fully recuperated from her match at WrestleMania made her an easy target for the Aussie duo of Billie Kay & Peyton Royce.

Randy Orton has his chance to win his championship back from Jinder Mahal.
At WrestleMania 34, Jinder Mahal pinned Rusev in a fatal four way match to win the WWE United States Championship from Randy Orton. On the very next episode of Smackdown, Orton defeated Bobby Roode and Rusev in a triple threat match to earn a championship match at WWE Backlash.

Backlash will the the first co-branded pay-per-view as WWE moves to doing that full-time. There has already been a match between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe scheduled for Backlash.
Last year, Orton and Mahal had a series of matches for the WWE Championship including the Punjabi Prison match at WWE Battleground. They also faced each other at Backlash in 2017.
It should be considered that next week is the Superstar Shakeup and wrestlers will be changing brands and last year's Superstar Shakeup saw two champions change brand..

Liv Morgan is ready for the world.
New Jersey's own Liv Morgan has made it to the promise land after an not so ideal upbringing. At 21 years old Morgan was signed to the NXT brand and while speaking with her hometown news publication NorthJersey.com, Morgan shared her thoughts on her time with the yellow-and-black brand.
“I spent three years in NXT doing whatever I could to be better and be noticed,” Morgan says. “It was a lot of hard work and proving yourself. So, I don’t want to say it was quick. Looking back, it feels like it was a blink of an eye and it’s amazing. It’s been amazing to come from WWE Performance Center and now to be on SmackDown Live. Thinking about that itself is insane, because it doesn’t feel real.”

WWE dropped a bombshell on Monday afternoon, revealing that they'd re-signed Brock Lesnar, and setting up a championship match.
Lesnar will face his WrestleMania opponent in Roman Reigns on April 27 in a cage match for the WWE Universal Championship at The Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia. Reigns has gone winless in his two attempts to beat Lesnar in the past.

WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon announced today that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has re-signed with WWE. Lesnar’s next appearance is scheduled for the Greatest Royal Rumble event, where he will compete against Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match for the Universal Title at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27, at 7 p.m. AST.

Tetsuya Naito and his stable are coming to North America
Ring of Honor will be hosting a War of the Worlds Tour which will be four nights in four North American cities. The tour will take place between May 9th to May 13th and will include more wrestlers from New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor. Ember Moon makes her WWE Raw debut on the Raw after WrestleMania, just a couple of days after dropping the NXT Women's Championship to Shayna Baszler at NXT Takeover: New Orleans. Ember Moon is set to interrupt an Alexa Bliss promo and work a tag match alongside Nia Jax against Bliss and Mickie James.
Authors of Pain will make their debuts on the main roster with longtime manager Paul Ellering. They'll take on the former Smackdown tag team championship duo of Heath Slater and Rhyno. AOP were last seen coming up short at NXT Takeover: New Orleans in the NXT Tag Team Championship match.
No Way Jose is also set for his debut, as he will take on an enhancement talent. Jose has largely been absent from NXT TV in recent months, but is often used as a “show starter” for NXT Live events to get the crowds going.
