Add It Up: New Grudge Match Set For WWE Survivor Series

There’s one more on the list. We are less than two weeks away from WWE Survivor Series and that means it is time to start getting the card together. There is still plenty of room on the show for more matches, several of which have already been set up over the last few months. That just leaves the matches to be made official, one of which was covered this week.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Oh No: Kevin Owens Injured At WWE Live Event
This week on Monday Night Raw, a new match was announced for Survivor Series, as AJ Styles challenged Finn Balor to meet him one on one. Balor accepted the match later in the show and it was officially confirmed. This comes after the two of them have been feuding as part of the OC vs. Judgment Day feud. There is no word on if the rest of the teams will be involved as well.

Commentators: Kevin Patrick, Corey Graves
We are less than two weeks away from Survivor Series and that means it is time to start building some things up for the show. While we have a few matches, the real focus is going to be on WarGames. It looks like Raw will only be supplying the women’s match and more of the lineup needs to be locked in. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Here is Seth Rollins to get things going and we see a package on Austin Theory’s failed cash in last week. Last week, he put out an open challenge and now there are people coming out of the woodwork for a shot at the title. Rollins talks about the cash-in and the fans say THAT WAS STUPID. Rollins is ready to defend against Finn Balor tonight but here is Bobby Lashley to interrupt. Rollins isn’t worried and brings up the loss to Brock Lesnar, so here is Mustafa Ali to interrupt. Lashley tosses him out with ease so Ali jumps ..

Oh No: Kevin Owens Injured At WWE Live Event

That’s never good. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler and you never want to see one take place. Any wrestler can be injured at any point in time and there is nothing to suggest when it is going to happen. This is true of any star and unfortunately a bigger WWE name has suffered what could be a pretty serious injury in the ring.

That Explains It: Backstage Reason For Awkward SmackDown Spot

It didn’t work so well. Wrestlers have a very difficult job to do as they have quite a few things to do every time they go to the ring. At the same time, they are doing these things in front of a live audience with no replays. Sometimes a mistake will take place and unfortunately some of them can be seen rather clearly. Now we know what likely caused a recent one.

This week on SmackDown, Shotzi won a Six Pack Challenge to become the new #1 contender to the SmackDown Women’s Title. During the match, Liv Morgan dove at Raquel Rodriguez in an attempt to drive her through a table, but the dive was left short and the table was barely grazed. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this was the result of miscommunication, as the original spot called for the table to be in a different place. Morgan apparently was not told about the change, resulting in her leaving the dive short by mistake. There is n..

He’ll Be Back: Likely Sad Reason Why Sami Zayn Missed SmackDown

Hopefully it gets better. Sami Zayn has risen up the WWE ladder several rungs in recent months and it seems that he may be on the way to a major match or moment sooner or later. His reactions are getting bigger and bigger every week but that was not the case at the most recent SmackDown. It seems that he is going through something rather sad and he might have made it public.

Zayn missed this week’s SmackDown due to what was described as a personal reason. He has since sent out a tweet in Arabic, which is translated into a phrase that is spoken when someone close passes away. Zayn did not reveal who it was or what happened. WWE has already advertised that Zayn will be returning to SmackDown next week, where he will take part in the first round of the SmackDown World Cup, facing Butch.

Time to pay it off. Wrestlers have a lot to do to get ready for their time in the ring and sometimes it can be a big overwhelming. It can help to have a little help with some of the more mundane tasks and some wrestlers can get that assistance. Two WWE stars were in one of those roles each as the result of a recent bet, and now we get to see just how far things went.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Rey Mysterio Out Of Action With An Injury
WWE has posted a video from backstage at this week’s SmackDown, where Drew Gulak had to do everything that Raquel Rodriguez told him to do throughout the day. This is the result of Gulak losing a World Series bet to Rodriguez when his Philadelphia Phillies lost to Rodriguez’s Houston Astros. As a result, Gulak had to do things such as open Rodriguez’s door, get her lunch, shine her boots and bring her water after her match.
It’s certainly different. Check out what Rodriguez put Gulak through:

WRESTLING RUMORS: Rey Mysterio Out Of Action With An Injury

That could be worse. There are all kinds of injuries a wrestler can suffer and some of them are very different than others. You never know when someone is going to go out of action out of nowhere and the amount of time they are going to be on the shelf can vary greatly. Now we know about another WWE star who is on the injured list, but it might not be as bad as it seems.

I’ve Seen That Before: Fans Accuse Sarah Logan Of Copying Independent Wrestler’s Look

They do look similar. The look is one of the most important concepts in all of wrestling. A wrestler needs to do something to catch your attention and looking a certain way is often near the top of the list. This could be in the form of a costume or something to make your face stand out and there are limitless possibilities. Now though, a WWE star is being accused of ripping off another look.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
Sarah Logan made her return to WWE this week on SmackDown, along with the Viking Raiders. Logan laid out Zelina Vega and B Fab before posing with the team. She was also sporting a new look, which included having the top half of her face painted. Fans are now calling out Logan for copying the look of independent wrestler Max The Impaler, who uses a similar look. Logan has not yet commented on the accusations.

WRESTLING RUMORS: Triple H Changes His Mind On Group Of WWE Stars

They have his attention. There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and often the best way to give more of them something to do is to group them into a stable. This is something that has worked for years in WWE and it continues to work today. It turns out that the new boss of the company was not thrilled with how a certain stable was working but things have changed for the better.

And NEW! Former WWE Star Wins First World Title

He who hath the gold. Titles have been the focal point of wrestling since the sport began, as wrestlers want to be seen as the best. The easiest way to be recognized as such is to hold a big shiny belt after beating the former champion. There have been a lot of titles throughout wrestling’s history and now one of the most famous, as well as important, has changed hands.

WWE’s Scarlett Reportedly Involved In Incident With Fan At Live Event

Get them out. There are all kinds of things that come together to make a wrestling show work, but arguably the most important part would be the fans themselves. A wrestling show is only so interesting without people there to watch and interact with the wrestlers. Unfortunately there are incidents of wrestlers being mistreated by fans and that was the case again this weekend.

New Home? Important Streaming Trend Could Shake Up AEW And WWE Television Deals

That’s a good sign. Wrestling is in a weird place when compared to mainstream sports. While wrestling is certainly an athletic endeavor, it is closer to a performance than a competition. At the same time, wrestling has quite the audience and that is something that can bring in quite a bit of money. Now the two biggest wrestling companies in the United States might be ready to use their audience to bring in a lot more money.
