“A Career Highlight For Me”: WWE Star Thanks Fans For Special Moment

He seems touched. All kinds of things take place in wrestling on any given show and some of them can be game changes depending on what takes place. You can see some important things happen in the blink of an eye, but there are other people who can get something out of such moments. The wrestlers can be rather emotional as well and now a top WWE star is explaining what something meant to him.

VIDEO: Edge Confirms Retirement Rumors; Potential Timeline Revealed

Last August, Edge openly admitted that his wrestling days were numbered after he made his return to WWE back in 2020. A part-time schedule and smart booking has allowed the WWE Hall of Famer to continue wrestling for the past three years in select feuds, but even he would be the first tell you that he’s wrestling on borrowed time.
During a recent podcast episode of the Leafs Morning Take, Edge discussed a number of topics, including the Toronto Maple Leafs, the fact that the Montreal Screwjob was his first WWE PPV he attended as a talent and an update on the “clock ticking” on The Rated R Superstar’s wrestling career.
Here’s the full appearance from Edge. Around the 8:50 mark is when he begins addressing the “closing window.”
Edge announced his retirement plans back in August. Edge mentioned that he would be interested to officially end his career in Toronto next August. He’s talked about getting to choose his ending this time, but he’s an older man now. Recovery time is likely a l..

NXT LVL Up Results – November 18, 2022

NXT LVL Up
Date: November 18, 2022
Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida
Commentators: Sudu Shah, Byron Saxton
We are on the way to Survivor Series and for once there was something a little different here last week. Granted it was just a six man tag but after the months of the same formula, a little change was nice to see. There is no reason to believe that will stick this week, but at least they made things better once. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Thea Hail vs. Dani Palmer The rest of Chase U is here with Hail and this is Palmer’s debut. Palmer even shakes hands with Chase U to start so she seems rather nice. They fight over arm control to start, with Hail getting the better of things off an armbar. A springboard wristdrag keeps Palmer in trouble before we get the armbar sequel. Back up and Palmer flips her over to set up a standoff in a bit of a surprise. Palmer manages to grab an abdominal stretch, which Hail breaks away from to start the comeback. A neckbre..

One More: Former Champion Announces Return To WWE Ring After 7 Year Absence

He’s still got it? Retirement is a weird thing in wrestling as you never know when you are going to be seeing a wrestler for the last time. It isn’t like they can come back for another season or have to wrestle a minimum of several matches before they can hang up their boots. Wrestlers can come back for a one off match whenever they like and that is what a former champion is going to do.
Former WWE star and current producer Jamie Noble has announced that he will be returning to the ring during WWE’s upcoming live tour. Noble will be wrestling against an opponent to be named on December 11 at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia, Noble’s home state. Noble, 45 years old, has not wrestled since June 8, 2015 and has not had a singles match since January 13, 2013. It was noted that this may be his last ever match for WWE and there is nothing to suggest this is a full time return to the ring.

That’s the next one. For the better part of forty years, pay per views have been the most important events in wrestling. A pay per view event would often feature the biggest stars in the most important matches and it was a special feeling when one took place. That is still the case today and one major company only presents a pay per view every few months. Now we know when the next one will be held.

No More? Successful Team Likely Splits At AEW Full Gear

They might need counseling. Teams and groups have a long history in wrestling as there have been people paired together for years. These pairings can go in a variety of directions, but sometimes they go south rather quickly. You never know when you are going to see a team have problems or even split up, but a successful one seems to be done following this weekend.
One of the featured matches at this weekend’s AEW Full Gear 2022 saw the Acclaimed successfully defend the AEW Tag Team Titles against Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee/Swerve Strickland). During the match, Strickland wanted Lee to use a pair of pliers but Lee refused. As a result, Strickland slapped Lee in the face, resulting in Lee walking away. Strickland was left to fight on his own and was pinned shortly thereafter.
The team did well while they lasted. Check out their better times:

What? More Details On Possible Steve Austin WWE Return, Potential Options

Those are some big ones. There are certain stars in wrestling history who have eclipsed almost any other name and are among the all time greats. Over the last few weeks, there have been teases of Steve Austin returning to the ring for one more match, possibly at WrestleMania 39. Possible dream match opponents would be Brock Lesnar, John Cena or Logan Paul, though it is not clear if these are names WWE is considering. The entire situation is still said to be in the ..

Busy Night: Several Title Changes Take Place At AEW Full Gear

They’re a big deal. Titles are some of the most important things in all of wrestling and it means a lot for one to change hands. A wrestler getting their hands on a championship is the kind of thing that can alter a wrestler’s career trajectory in a very important way, especially if it is their first. That took place this weekend, as a few title changes took place on the same night.

It’s time for another AEW pay per view and that should be a good thing a the company certainly has the reputation for putting on great ones. Zero Hour: Best Friends/Rocky Romero/??? vs. Factory The Best Friends are missing a partner to start, though they had advertised a very evil mysterious partner. Chuck shoulders Solo down to start and it’s off to Trent. A knee from the apron cuts Trent off but he’s fine enough to drop Johnson. Everything breaks down and Romero hits the Forever Clotheslines on Johnson in the corner. Marshall gets punched by a variety of people and Cassidy rather slowly joins in.

MJF Wins AEW World Championship; William Regal Turns Heel at AEW Full Gear

The AEW World Championship match with Jon Moxely defending the title against MJF was a rare instance of being so unpredictable that anything could happen. There was speculation after Wednesday’s final segment on Dynamite, which had William Regal in the middle of the frame between MJF and Jon Moxely.
Based on the ending on Dynamite, a lot of fans assumed that William Regal would be the determining factor in whoever won tonight. Here’s What Tony Khan Had Planned for Saraya if She Wasn’t Cleared to Wrestle

For the first time in five years, Saraya will finally make her in-ring return to the squared circle. She will wrestle Britt Baker in her return bout, which has been highly featured as one of the top feuds heading into tonight’s AEW Full Gear.
It’s very exciting for the AEW fans and for Saraya herself to have the opportunity to perform after a five year absence. There hasn’t been any word on her training or how much she’s been in the ring over the past few months. AEW only just released the news that she was medically cleared to compete at Full Gear this past week.
Tony Khan, who participated in the standard conference call before Full Gear, apparently didn’t have any concerns about Saraya being physically capable of performing in the ring when she signed with the company. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful confimed the following via Twitter about what plans were in place for Saraya if she couldn’t actually wrestle:
Tony Khan tells me that @Saraya was confident she would get cleared and felt..
