The boss has spoken. According to a report from Fightful, Triple H held a meeting for all talent prior to tonight’s episode of Raw. This was similar to the talent meeting that he held prior to last week’s episode of SmackDown.
At the meeting, Triple H reassured the Raw roster that he is still in charge of creative and that Vince McMahon’s return to the company had no effect on that side of things. He also debunked last week’s rumors that the company had already been sold to the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund.
Kevin Dunn and Executive Vice President of Talent for WWE Dan Ventrelle were also speaking at the WWE Raw talent meeting.

That can make for some interesting situations as the question becomes when or where they will return to the ring. According to Wrestlingnews.co, Tara wrestled a match at this week’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings, teaming with Gisele Shaw in a loss to the Death Dollz. This will be Tara’s first nationally televised match since 2013, though she has wrestled for various independent promotions. She also participated in the 2021 Royal Rumble. The Nightmare is back. On tonight’s episode of Raw, WWE aired another vignette detailing the recovery of Cody Rhodes. At the conclusion of the video, a major announcement was made as The American Nightmare let the world know that he would be returning at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

Rhodes has been out of action since Hell in a Cell 2022, where he competed against Seth Rollins, with a torn pectoral muscle. Prior to this, he had made his return to the company at WrestleMania of that year, returning after being away from the company for 6 years.

It’s a different way to go. We are about to start the build to the biggest WWE event of the year with WrestleMania 39. Before we get there though, WWE has some more major shows to cover, with both the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. However, over the weekend, Shayna Baszler unsuccessfully challenged Charlotte at two WWE live events. While not confirmed, there is a chance that this could be a preview of an upcoming feud between the two.

That’s some special praise. Wrestling fans can be very passionate about what they love to watch and there is nothing wrong with that. It can become a major part of their lives and something that they want to talk about and experience as often as possible. Rollins responded to the video, saying (through emojis) that “this is bat s*** crazy and I love it”. Rollins is currently set for the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble.

That’s a big upgrade. Wrestlers have rather physical jobs and there is almost no way to prevent some kind of wear and tear on their bodies over the years. At the same time, there are other things that can make their health situations worse after they leave the ring. This gets worse as they get up there in years, but this time we are seeing some better news after a string of bad.

Earlier this month, WWE Hall Of Famer Superstar Billy Graham’s wife Valerie announced that he had been put in the ICU (intensive care unit) on a breathing tube after going into cardiac arrest. In a new update, Valerie has announced that Billy is no longer in the ICU as his heart rate and blood pressure are strong enough to be moved to the PCU (progressive care unit). Billy, 79, was initially hospitalized due to an infection in his ear which spread to the bones in his ear.

As usual, LVL Up has me wondering what in the world I should be expecting. It might be a boring show, it might be a show with some slightly bigger NXT names or it might be a show that winds up being rather entertaining. It really is a show that could go anywhere, but it would be nice to have some more consistency. Let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Von Wagner vs. Oba Femi Mr. Stone is here with Wagner, who powers Femi into the corner to start. A running shoulder drops Femi but he’s back with a running shoulder of his own. Wagner cuts him off with a clothesline though and starts in on the back. A belly to back suplex and elbow to the face put Femi down again and we hit the chinlock. Femi fights up and hits a running clothesline in the corner, earning himself a big boot. The Death Valley Driver finishes Femi at 4:13.

It’s that time of year again. We are about two and a half months away from WrestleMania 39 and that means WWE should be finalizing the card. That can be a little bit difficult given how many matches the show has, but it can be made even more complicated as there are several names that need to be brought in. Now though, it seems WWE has at least something of an idea of the top matches.

Multiple matches are being reported for the WrestleMania 39 card. First, according to Wrestlingnews.co, WWE is planning on Logan Paul facing John Cena at the show. Paul challenged Cena to a match in November but nothing else has been done about it. Fightful Select is also reporting that the match was at least mentioned in November but its current status is unknown.

That’s a special honor. One of the biggest WWE stories in 2022 was the return of Cody Rhodes. After being away from the company and wrestling around the world, including in AEW, Rhodes was back and started to take the company by storm. Rhodes would get hurt in June though, putting him on the shelf for the rest of the year. Now it seems that Rhodes is on his way back, and he has had some help getting there.

See him again? We are almost on the Road To WrestleMania 39 and that means it is time for WWE to start cranking up the build towards the show. This can include bringing in a variety of stars, both new and legendary, for the event. WWE has done some of this on television, but now it seems that there might be something else that they have already done that they are waiting to release.
