They do have a plan. AEW has been around for a few years now and the company has come a long way in a relatively short amount of time. They still have several things they need to do though and now it seems that they are ready to start one of the most important. What matters is doing it right though, and now we know a bit more about the plans that they have made.

Earlier this month, AEW announced that it would begin running limited live events, beginning with a show on March 11. In a new interview with Under The Ring, AEW’s Jeff Jarrett spoke about the plan, which includes starting slowly and going with a “crawl, walk, run” process. It’s a different group. Stables have been a part of WWE’s history for decades now and there is nothing to suggest that they will be going away anytime soon. They are a logical idea, as you can have several wrestlers in one place and getting more television time than they might have otherwise. Now though, we might be seeing a WWE stable gaining another member.

Last month on Monday Night Raw, Maxxine Dupri of Maximum Male Models met Otis and thought he could be perfect for the team. This week, Dupri offered Otis a modeling job while saying that Otis could be the face of their brand, which left Otis seeming intrigued. There is no word on where this could be going or what this will mean for Otis’ partner Chad Gable.

It is the go home show for the Elimination Chamber and that means we need to finalize everything for the red half of the event. We should be in for some hard pushes, including the contract signing between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar. There is also the Lita return last week to deal with so let’s get to it.
Here is Becky Lynch, with Adam Pearce, for a chat. Becky is happy to be here and says she even dressed spiffy for us. She thanks Lita for her help last week but realizes that she needs a path to Wrestlemania. That sounds like something to do with a title to her, so she wants in the Elimination Chamber.
Cue Bayley, who says she should be in the Chamber, because Lita CHEATED last week. That match should be stricken from the record book, which sends Bayley and Becky into an argument over Wrestlemania credentials. Bayley says Becky lost in her Wrestle..

Dismissed for now. While WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world, they are certainly not the only one. The company has dominated the industry for so long but there are still several other promotions to be found. One such promotion was not happy with WWE’s actions and did something about it, but that has not turned out very well for them.

In January 2022, Major League Wrestling (MLW) filed a lawsuit against WWE, claiming that WWE had interfered with MLW’s contract negotiations with Tubi and VICE TV. This week, according to PWInsider.com, US District Court Judge Edward J. Davila dismissed the case, basically saying that MLW did not make a strong enough argument to back up claims of WWE violating antitrust laws. MLW has 21 days to file an amended complaint, with MLW owner Court Bauer issuing a statement to PWInsider saying the company’s legal team is already working on..

It’s official. We are on the way to WrestleMania 39 in April but there is one major show left to cover on the way there. That would be this coming weekend’s Elimination Chamber, which will set a lot of the WrestleMania stage. There will be multiple huge matches on the card but there is still room for some more. One of the bigger matches to be set was made official this week.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Brock Lesnar challenged Bobby Lashley to a match at Elimination Chamber, but Lashley wanted to wait to sign the contract. This week, Lashley and Lesnar had a contract signing, with Lashley attacking Lesnar and then signing the contract. The match will be the third between the two, with Lashley having won at the 2022 Royal Rumble and Lesnar winning at Crown Jewel 2022.

She’s not there yet. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to wrestlers as you never know when someone is going to be back in the ring. Being on the shelf can grind a wrestler’s career to a halt but there are other things that they can do to keep their name out there. That is the case with a current AEW star, who cannot get in the ring but is doing something else.

AEW’s Thunder Rosa has been out of action since the middle of August with a back injury. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rosa was back at last week’s AEW Dynamite in El Paso, Texas where she was part of the Spanish commentary team. There is no word on if Rosa will be a permanent part of the team or when she will be returning to the ring.

He’d be welcomed back. There have been countless wrestlers in WWE over the years and only a small number of them have reached the top level of the company. Various wrestlers have become legends in WWE history, with some of them being enshrined in the Hall Of Fame. WWE is able to keep some of these wrestlers on in backstage roles and now one of them is open to returning to the company.

Earlier this year, WWE Hall Of Famer D-Von Dudley announced that he had parted ways with the company in a mutual decision. Dudley had been working as a producer in NXT for several years before leaving. During an interview with Wrestlingnews.co, Dudley said that he would be willing to return to NXT in his same role if Triple H needed him back. While Dudley said that he would consider the same thing if Vince McMahon needed him, he felt he had a better relationship with Triple H.

It’s a special story. Wrestlers are larger than life characters and that is what makes fans want to see them every week. You can see them in good and bad moments, but at the end of the day, the stories are made up. Unfortunately there are real life problems that they have to face as well, and now we are going to get to hear a story about one wrestler who had to deal with something very serious.

Former WWE star Ricardo Rodriguez has announced that he has been filming a documentary about his recovery from alcoholism. Rodriguez announced that he would be entering rehab in May 2020 and in February, announced that he was ten months sober. The documentary will focus on him leaving rehab, being homeless and working at his own wrestling school. The film, titled Wrestling With Recovery, is expected to be released later this year.

That can be seen when these stars are rarely involved in any mainstream media appearances. Every so often you see something a little more surprising and now that has happened again, in one of the most prominent places available.

Two WWE names appeared in Super Bowl commercials this weekend. First, Logan Paul appeared in a commercial for his Prime sports drink. The clip included footage of Paul in WWE, including his frog splash to Miz at Summerslam 2022. Second, Undertaker appeared in a Draftkings ad, featuring a number of other sports celebrities, including Tony Hawk and David Ortiz, among others. Undertaker was in his full gear and acknowledged by his ring name.

She’s worth it? One of the bigger moments of the wrestling year so far was the debut of Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks during her time in WWE, in New Japan Pro Wrestling. This was Mone’s first wrestling appearance in about seven months after walking out on WWE. It was a big acquisition for New Japan but now we know a little something else about the appearance.

Before Mone’s January 4 debut, a rumor circulate that she would make more money per appearance than Chris Jericho during his most recent New Japan run. Jericho refuted the claim, saying that he was never given a guaranteed amount per appearance and was paid according to the show’s revenue. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the rumor, which has begun circulating again, is inaccurate, as Mone is not making as much as Jericho. She is also not making as much as she could make with WWE or AEW, but is working New J..

That’s a different way to go. Women’s wrestling has come a very long way in WWE in recent years, to the point where it is now a major, serious part of any WWE event. That is a lot more than most fans would have believed to be possible and a lot of that is due to a core group of wrestlers who have made that much of an impact. Now two of those women are receiving quite the special treatment.

Last week on WWE TV, Bayley and Becky Lynch were both referred to as “all time greats”. Lynch and Bayley are two of the Four Horsewomen of NXT and faced off in a cage match last week on Monday Night Raw.

Changing roles can be good sometimes. NXT Trainer and Coach Matt Bloom recently appeared on the ‘Real Monster Radio’ show, where he discussed a number of topics. One of them was the status of a former NXT superstar, now turned coach.
Bloom had the following to say about Oney Lorcan:
“My position now as a head coach, I oversee my coaches,” Bloom said. “I have an amazing staff. So, I gotta give props to those guys. Terry Taylor, Fit Finlay, Robbie Brookside, Norman Smiley, Steve Corino, Alexander Winkler, ‘Oney Lorcan’ Chris Girard, who just recently retired from being in the ring, Johnny Moss, and we have a few UK coaches that are on the cusp of being full-time coaches as well.”
