It has been a total breakthrough for all kinds of promotions and wrestlers, many of which have thrived with new platforms. It can mean something when a new web series gets to air and that is going to be the case again soon.

Ring Of Honor owner Tony Khan has announced new details on the returning Ring Of Honor television series. In an interview with Busted Open Radio, Khan revealed that the first tapings will take place on February 25 and 26 in Orlando with tickets going on sale this week. In addition, when speaking to Sports Illustrated, Khan revealed that the show will be airing on March 2 on HonorClub.

The wrestling world lost one such legend earlier this week and now the tributes and memories are pouring in from all over the industry.

Matt Riddle posted a message to Twitter, wishing his girlfriend Misha a Happy Valentine’s Day and saying he’ll see all of us very soon. Riddle has been absent from WWE TV since December due to a reported suspension and stint in rehab. WWE has not officially commented on his absence and there is no specific word on when he will be returning to WWE television.

It’s Valentine’s Day and that is not likely to mean much of anything here. We are about a month and a half away from Stand & Deliver and Carmelo Hayes is looking like a strong option to go after Bron Breakker’s NXT Title. Other than that, NXT has some work to do so let’s get to it.

Grayson Waller vs. Tyler Bate Waller takes him to the rope to start the choking, while shouting that Shawn Michaels bet on the wrong horse. Bate grabs his own foot and swings it into Waller’s face, followed by a dropkick for two. A quick shot lets Waller grab a cravate with the knee to the face getting two more.
The back and forth continues as Bate runs him over and hits a standing shooting star press for his own near fall. They go outside with Booker going on his latest long winded rant about how attitude will get you to Wrestlemania. Waller slides back in and ..

That would be big. There are certain legends in wrestling who can be known by one name because they have earned the distinction. Even long after they have stopped getting in the ring, you can still hear from them on occasion, especially if they stick around the industry in some way. That was the case this week, as a retired legend was not happy with a current star.

Over the last few weeks, NXT’s Grayson Waller has been having issues with NXT official Shawn Michaels. This has included Waller interrupting Michaels’ post-Vengeance Day media call, earning himself a suspension. Waller’s suspension was up this week, but he yelled at Michaels after losing a match. Following the ejection, Waller yelled about Michaels again, saying Michaels’ time had come and gone. Michaels, 57, last wrestled at Crown Jewel 2018, his first match in over eight years.

That would be a change. The rise of AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works, as now WWE has another big budget wrestling promotion to deal with on the national stage. In addition, AEW has allowed wrestlers to have another place to go, which has led to some interesting situations. Now a current AEW star seems to be teasing a jump back to WWE after a rather nasty exit.
Back in June 2020, FTR left WWE (where they had been known as the Revival), following a six year run with the company. The team has since moved over to AEW, where they are former Tag Team Champions. Dax Harwood has since announced that the team will be sitting out until their AEW contracts expire at the end of April. This week, Harwood posted a new Instagram story, which shows a piece of paper featuring a WWE logo. There is no word on what was on the paper and nothing about FTR’s possible future with WWE has been confirmed or rumored.

This is becoming a tradition. There are all kinds of ways to present a wrestling storyline, many of which have been around for decades to continued success. One of the best is to have family members get into trouble with each other, likely setting up a huge match down the line. WWE has been doing that again, and now it seems that they are using various special days to make it work.

Last year on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley have invaded Rey Mysterio’s home, resulting in violence both times. This weekend, on Valentine’s Day, Dominik and Ripley interrupted Rey’s Valentine’s Day dinner with his wife Angie. Dominik and Ripley took over the dinner but Dominik’s credit card was declined, leaving Ripley to pay instead. Rey and Dominik did not get physical this time.

Casting call? We are about a month and a half away from WrestleMania 39, which is being themed as WrestleMania Goes Hollywood. This is the same ad campaign as WrestleMania 21 in 2005, which featured a series of parody movie trailers including WWE stars. These trailers have been aired again in the build to this year’s WrestleMania and now we might be getting something fresh.

It can happen to anyone. There are all kinds of injuries a wrestler can undergo and some of them are not as obvious as others. While you can see the big ones right in front of your face, there are others that can put a wrestler on the shelf, even if it does not seem to be that bad. It seems to be the case again, as a former AEW champion is on the shelf with an injury.

During a recent video gaming live stream, former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida revealed that she is suffering from a finger injury. While Shida said that she is still able to game, she is unable to wrestle at the moment. Shida described the injury as “little”, though she did not give any date on a return to the ring. Her most recent match took place on January 1 in Japan.

They’re running out of time. With about a month and a half to go before WrestleMania 39, WWE has already started setting up the card for the show. There are a few matches already set but there are still some things that need to be established. This is also the first WrestleMania under the new regime and now it seems that the change is going to result in a different kind of show.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has not made any changes to the WrestleMania card in the last month and no major changes are expected to be made. This includes Sami Zayn not being inserted into the World Title match. This is different from previous editions of the show, which saw all kinds of changes to the show all the way up until the last minute.

That wasn’t nice. Wrestlers have quite the difficult job, as they are required to make fans either love or hate them while realizing that what they are seeing might not be on the up and up. That is a tricky situation, but there are ways that villains can do various evil things which will drive fans crazy. That was the case this week at Monday Night Raw, but things were a little backwards.

During his most recent run with WWE, Brock Lesnar has been a babyface for an extended period of time in several years. This has included wearing a cowboy hat and speaking to the fans when he comes to the ring. A clip from this week’s Monday Night Raw has made its way to Twitter, showing Lesnar putting his hat on a young fan and then taking it back. This aired during Lesnar’s entrance on the television broadcast.

That’s a different direction. The Bloodline saga has dominated the WWE landscape for over two years now and the story continues to unfold week after week. One of the most important players has been Jey Uso, who has supported his cousin Roman Reigns during most of the story. This has become a problem in recent weeks though, and now we know where a new twist might go.

This coming Saturday, WWE will present its annual Elimination Chamber event from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, both Jey and his brother Jimmy Uso are currently scheduled to work the show. This is a twist on their normal status, as the Usos are not normally permitted to enter Canada due to their previous DUI convictions. The report did include the caveat that this could be a “swerve” or a “storyline”. The Usos do not currently have a match scheduled for the show.
