Roman Reigns Signs New WWE Deal, Not Wrestling Nearly As Often
That’s the future? There has not been a star like Roman Reigns in WWE in a long time. Reigns is coming up on two years as Universal Champion and his title reign has been one of the most dominant in WWE history. WWE has turned Reigns into the face of the company and they have been very successful with him on top. That just might not be the case as frequently going forward.
Over the weekend, Reigns gave a speech at a WWE live event, suggesting that he will not be around as much going forward. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Reigns has signed a new deal with the company, which will include far fewer dates. In addition, according to PWInsider.com, Reigns is currently not advertised for any WWE TV taping beyond June 24, though he is scheduled for Money In The Bank on July 2 and Summerslam on July 30. He is also advertised for Clash At The Castle in September, two live events in October and Survivor Series in November.
