Congratulations! Two Wrestling Stars Get Married

That’s the special moment. Wrestlers do a lot of things in the ring and in front of the camera as part of their job. There is very little free time as part of being a wrestler, meaning they have to use what they have as well as possible. That involves several different moments, with one of the most important taking place earlier this week between two stars.
WWE’s Charlotte and AEW’s Andrade El Idolo have officially been married, with the ceremony taking place on Friday. The two have been together for over a year, including when they both worked for WWE. Charlotte is currently on hiatus from WWE for the sake of her wedding, with her most recent match taking place at WrestleMania Backlash as she lost the SmackDown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey. El Idolo’s most recent AEW match took place on the April 20 Dynamite when he lost to Darby Allin in a coffin match.
This is beautiful. Check out some clips from the wedding:

No, Michelle McCool Did Not Murder Undertaker With A Sledgehammer

That’s a serious jump. There are certain things that wrestlers do that you do not see elsewhere. Some wrestlers have rather over the top characters and that can make for some interesting situations. Things that happen on a wrestling show do not make all that much sense, especially to someone who is outside the wrestling bubble. That almost got someone in some legal issues.
Michelle McCool, the wife of the Undertaker, appeared on the Wives of Wrestling podcast and told a story about the police questioning her for about possibly murdering Undertaker. McCool was followed to her home by police and was asked if her husband was home. Undertaker came out of the shower in a towel and showed the officers that he was fine and the issue was over. The officers then let the two of them listen to the call, which had a fan saying that McCool had killed Undertaker with a sledgehammer.
Opinion: There are some very interesting fans out there and some of them either have a good bit of time on their han..

WRESTLING RUMORS: Big Change To Upcoming WWE Stable

Change of plans. There are a lot of wrestlers in WWE today and it makes sense to have the company put some of them together into one stable. It is a fine way to get a lot of people on the show at once and that is what WWE has been doing for a long time now. That seems to be what they are doing again, though this time it might be something a little bit different than originally planned.
Last week, Max Dupri, formerly known as LA Knight, made his SmackDown debut and mentioned that he was in charge of a male modeling agency. This was a slight change from what Knight had been doing in SmackDown dark matches where Knight had introduced his various clients. This included Mansoor and Mace, but according to Wrestlingnews.co, Vince McMahon has decided that the two will not be joining the new stable. The stable is coming, but it will have different members.
Opinion: This is one of those changes that probably only makes sense for McMahon, as the stable had been set up but only in segments that ..

WWE Hall Of Famer Returning To Company In Executive Role

Welcome back. There are a lot of people needed to make WWE work. The company is huge and has so many different moving parts that it is difficult to keep everything moving well. It takes the right people working behind the scenes and some experience can do a lot of good for everyone involved. That is the case again as WWE is bringing back an experienced veteran to take on a big role.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett will be returning to WWE in an executive role and taking over the production of live events. He is expected to begin his new job next week. Jarrett has worked for WWE before in an executive capacity before leaving the company during the Coronavirus pandemic. During his time away, he has worked for various companies such as AAA and GCW.
Opinion: This is the kind of move that makes sense for WWE as Jarrett’s main work backstage was running Impact Wrestling, but that is a kind of experience that very few have. Jarrett is a lifer in wrestling and some..

Money In The Bank Plans “Up In The Air” After Huge Change

The more things change. We are rapidly approaching WWE Hell In A Cell and the card is only somewhat put together, with four matches already announced. That being said, WWE still have other shows that are coming up further down the line, though one of them is going up some changes. It turns out that the changes in one area could cause changes to the show itself.
Earlier this week, WWE announced that Money In The Bank would be moving from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the same city. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the show’s creative plans are now up in the air, especially when it comes to the company’s top stars. It is not clear if Roman Reigns defending the WWE Universal Title against Riddle is still taking place. At the same time, there is no word on if Brock Lesnar, who was originally advertised, will still appear now that the show is in an arena. The show takes place on July 2.
Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on in WWE at the m..

A New Look: WWE Announces SmackDown Return And Teases Gimmick Change

Welcome back. There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and some of them get to stand out more than others. You can often tell when WWE is interested in pushing someone at a high level and that can make for some interesting moments. It can be interesting to see how the company puts together a push for the person and now we might be seeing that again next week.
On the May 13 SmackDown, Happy Corbin attacked Madcap Moss and Pillmanized his throat with a chair. Moss has not appeared on WWE TV since, but his return was announced this week on SmackDown. WWE announced that Moss will be returning next week, with Moss including a tweet saying that he was coming back with no jokes or cap but rather to beat up Corbin. This comes after rumors of Moss being repackaged into a different look, though there is no word on how much of a change there could be.
You spit in the face of Andre’s legacy. You tried to end my career. But you didn’t – cuz Madcap is built different. Corbin, get ready to see a..

AEW Rampage Results – May 27, 2022

Rampage
Date: May 27, 2022
Location: Michelob Ultra Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
Commentators: Excalibur, Taz, Ricky Starks
It’s the final show before Double Or Nothing and that means it is time for the last push towards the show. If nothing else, we get to find out who will be in the final of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament, because that is still going. Tonight is mostly about firming up what is already there though so let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Bryan Danielson vs. Matt Sydal William Regal is on commentary as Danielson wins a test of strength and grabs a headlock. Back up and Sydal snaps off a flying mare, leaving us with a standoff. Danielson uppercuts him down and fires off the forearms to the head but Sydal is back with a leg lariat. We take a break and come back with Danielson dropping a knee for two of his own, only to have Sydal kick him in the face for a breather.
A hurricanrana gives Sydal two so he goes up for the Meteora, which is pulled into a nasty half..

VIDEO: Wrestling Legend Makes Surprise AEW Appearance (And It’s AWESOME)

I remember him. There have been so many wrestlers throughout the years that it can be difficult to remember all of them. All kinds of stars come and go with little to no impact, but there are some that stand out for one reason or another. That is the case with a bunch of stars from WWE’s Attitude Era and another one was back this week, albeit for a completely different company.
Former WWE star Gangrel made a surprise appearance this week on AEW Rampage, accompanying the Young Bucks to the ring for their match. This was part of a Young Bucks parody of the Hardys, who Gangrel briefly managed in WWE as the New Brood. Following the match, the Bucks attacked Gangrel but the Hardys ran in for the save. There is nothing to suggest that this is anything more than a one off appearance.
This was hilarious. Check out the surprise cameo:

Opinion: This is the kind of a cameo that works very well, as a wrestler like Gangrel does have enough of a connect..

Last Minute: AEW Adds More Matches To Double Or Nothing Card

The card still has room. AEW does not run pay per view events very often so when they do go on the big stage, it means a lot more than usual. That is the kind of show that everyone wants to be on, meaning the shows are often packed. The same is true with this weekend’s Double Or Nothing, though now AEW has made the show even bigger by adding some more matches to the card.
There were two new matches added to the Double Or Nothing card during this week’s edition of Rampage. First up, Darby Allin challenged Kyle O’Reilly to a grudge match after O’Reilly attacked Sting last week. The match was made official later in the show. Second, the Men of the Year and Paige VanZant agreed to face Sammy Guevara/Tay Conti/Frankie Kazarian in a six person tag. If Guevara and company loses, Guevara and Kazarian can never challenge for the TNT Title again.
Opinion: I think that’s enough, as we are now all the way to thirteen matches taking place on Sunday night. That is more than enough in the first pla..

SmackDown Live Coverage And Results – May 27, 2022

Smackdown
Date: May 27, 2022
Location: Simmons Bank Arena, Little Rock, Arkansas
Commentators: Michael Cole, Pat McAfee
We’re almost up to Hell In A Cell and that means it might be time to actually add some things to the card. I’m not sure what the main event is actually supposed to be but maybe we get something else this week. If nothing else, New Day has a mystery partner to FINALLY wrap up their feud with the Brawling Brutes. I’m sure. Let’s get to it.
We open with a recap of the Usos taking out RKBro last week to unify the Tag Team Titles. Randy Orton was injured pretty badly last week to put him on the shelf for the time being.
Here are the Usos for a chat. After thanking Roman Reigns for making this possible, we hear about how the Usos recently celebrated twelve years in this company and they couldn’t have done it without the fans. The fans have cheered and booed them while seeing their up and definitely (Jey’s word) seeing their downs. After all their time together and all th..

Impact Wrestling Results – May 26, 2022

Impact Wrestling
Date: May 26, 2022
Location: Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, Florida
Commentators: Matthew Rehwoldt, Tom Hannifan
We are well on the way to Slammiversary and that means it is time to build towards the matches that are already set for the show. This includes the World Title match of Josh Alexander defending against Eric Young, which will probably be built up a bit more this week. Let’s get to it.
We open with a recap of last week’s main event, with the Briscoes retaining the Tag Team Titles over Violent By Design. This set up a post match staredown also involving Josh Alexander.
Opening sequence.
Ultimate X Qualifying Match: Alex Shelley vs. Trey Miguel We get a respectful handshake to start until Shelley grabs a hammerlock. Miguel spins out of that in a hurry though and we’re at a standoff. A whip into the ropes doesn’t work for Shelley, as Miguel is right there with a few kicks to the arm. Shelley sends him outside though and there’s the baseball slide to stagge..

Move On: WWE Officially Moving Money In The Bank To New Venue

Pack the bags. WWE runs a lot of major events every single year, some of which are among the biggest on the wrestling calendar. The company’s top events are some of the most well known in the industry and as a result, they are able to draw in tends of thousands of fans to the larger events. That is usually the case, but now things will not be taking place as originally planned.
WWE has officially announced that July 2nd’s Money In The Bank pay per view will be taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada instead of Allegiant Stadium in the same city. Fans who had purchased tickets to the event in the original venue have been sent an email saying that they will receive a refund and be allowed to purchase tickets to the new venue in advance. WWE’s website has also changed the venue to the new location. The email did not give a reason for the changes, though previous reports cited poor advance ticket sales.
WWE sent out the following email to fans that Money in the Ba..
