Finn Balor was actually scheduled to face Chris Jericho at the Summer Slam PPV.Before Finn sustained an injury he was scheduled to defend his WWE Universal Title against Kevin Owens at the Clash of Champions PPV.This match would've set Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho vs Finn Balor at Hell In A Cell PPV from Boston.
As we noted earlier there would be a fatal 4-way match to determine to number one contender for the WWE Universal Championship.Actually, Roman and Seth were not scheduled to be a part of the title picture anytime soon but with the injury of Finn Balor this injury has opened the doors for Seth and Roman to get into the title picture.
