Shane McMahon Hospitalized Following Assault on “Smackdown Live”

It’s a good thing he’s taking time off when he is. WWE.com has posted an update on Shane McMahon’s condition, after he was attacked by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens two weeks ago on “Smackdown Live.” The assault came after he announced that he was taking a leave of absence as commissioner of the blue brand. Two weeks ago on SmackDown LIVE, McMahon announced he would be taking an indefinite leave of absence from his position as the blue brand’s Commissioner. Following that announcement, McMahon was brutally attacked by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. WWE medical staff initially diagnosed him with a laryngeal contusion and trapezius and rhomboid strains as a result of the beating. Update on Vader’s Medical Condition; How Did Open Heart Surgery Go?

It had been previously reported that WWE legend Vader recently underwent open heart surgery in Dallas, TX. He has always been known as a monster in the ring, making a huge statement during his debut on “Raw” in 1996, when he attacked then WWE president, Gorilla Monsoon. The band plays on. With less than three weeks before “Wrestlemania XXXIV”, it’s time for the WWE to take over New Orleans. While there’s a lot to Wrestlemania week, some of the coolest things that they do has nothing to do with the actual wrestling shows. There’s a lot of culture in New Orleans and that’s what we’re looking at today. This is just cool. Molly Holly Set to Induct Ivory Into the WWE Hall of Fame

Molly Holly has been confirmed as the inductor for Ivory into the WWE Hall of Fame in the class of 2018 during ‘WrestleMania’ week. In WWE alone, Ivory was a legend- as Holly will tell you herself. Besides entering the class of 20118 in the Hall of Fame, she was also the WWF Women’s Champion 3 times during her career. Outside of WWE, Ivory has captured gold in Carolina Championship Wrestling, Ladies Sports Club, SuperGirls Wrestling, Powerful Women of Wrestling and Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. She was also inducted into the Women Superstars Uncensored Hall of Fame back in 2011. In her own right, Holly is likely a future WWE Hall of Famer, capturing the WWE Women’s Championship 2 times during her career, with a reign as WWF Hardcore Champion just once. As announced by WWE.com, Chasing Glory host and veteran ring announcer Lilian Garcia will return to WWE TV to be the guest ring announcer for the first-ever ‘WrestleMania’ Women’s Battle Royal. On Sunday, April 8, fans will witness yet another ‘first-ever’ match as female competitors from both ‘Raw’ and ‘Smackdown Live’ including The Riott Squad, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Naomi, and Natalya will compete in a Battle Royal to determine who is the superior talent. 16-time WWE Champion John Cena was a guest on “Ellen,” where he was scheduled to talk about his upcoming movie “Blockers,” and what it transpired into was something Cena could never have expected. Wrestlemania IX Date: April 4, 1993 Location: Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada Attendance: 16,891 Commentators: Jim Ross, Bobby Heenan, Randy Savage This is one of the weakest cards the series has ever seen. Nothing on the show feels important with the main event of Bret Hart defending the WWF World Title against Royal Rumble winner Yokozuna feeling lukewarm at best. The second biggest match is Hulk Hogan/Brutus Beefcake challenging Money Inc. for the Tag Team Titles. Like I said: not the strongest card. Let’s get to it. Gorilla Monsoon is the host this year, meaning he’ll be on screen for less than five minutes. Like everyone else, Monsoon is in a toga because it’s a toga party. I’m still not sure who thought this was a good idea. In one of the major moments of the show, Jim Ross (JR) makes his WWF debut and talks about the main events before taking his place as lead commentator. Yes indeed. In what might be the biggest wrestling story of the year, Daniel Bryan has been cleared for his in-ring return. The news broke earlier this week in a huge announcement, followed by a major speech on “Smackdown Live”. One question has been when Bryan was cleared to return to the ring, and who would know better than him? It’s sooner than you would think. More Details on Greatest Royal Rumble, Including Network Availability

Well, they are the greatest. Earlier this year, WWE announced the Greatest Royal Rumble, a special taking place in Saudi Arabia. The show will feature a fifty man Royal Rumble plus seven more title matches on the card. Now though, we’re getting a special bonus that could bring in a few more viewers. They did it before, they can do it again. One is a Samoan named Joe. In less than three weeks, Roman Reigns faces one of the biggest challenges of his life as he meets Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at “Wrestlemania XXXIV”.
