A lot of the time they are going to get out of the business far earlier than most and that can make things a little bit strange for them down the line. Some of them might have had more success than others, but there are a lot of them who have made an impact in one way or another. The Fiend made his presence known against Seth Rollins at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, September 15. Rollins had just successfully defended his Universal Championship versus Braun Strowman, but The Beastslayer’s celebration was short lived. Bray Wyatt attacked him on the entrance ramp as the crowd in Charlotte, North Carolina, went wild. The live audience was indeed ready for Wyatt’s arrival. The crowd had been chanting “yowie wowie” at several different points during the event as it seemed they were preparing for the fiendish finish that was to come. But even as fans are excited for what they saw, many more are wondering why Wyatt has already been selected as Rollins’ next challenger. The fact is, this move had to happen. I guess the winners get to pick what’s next for them. Clash Of Champions was, as you might have guessed, all about titles. There are a lot of titles in WWE and therefore there are a lot of champions that go with them. Some of the champions did better than others on Sunday and some of the winners aren’t wasting time in finding themselves some new challengers. In a new video posted to the WWE’s YouTube page after Clash Of Champions, Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross challenge the IIconics to come after the titles. Cross and Bliss defeated the IIconics to become champions on August 5, though the match was a four way also involving Fire & Desire and the Kabuki Warriors. The Man Is In Trouble. Becky Lynch Is Being Punished For Clash Of Champions.

You have to pay the chair, Man. Becky Lynch is one of the biggest stars in WWE and there are very few names on her level. That means she is going to be on some of the biggest shows of the year in some of the most important spots. That was the case on Sunday when she defended the Raw Women’s Title against Sasha Banks at Clash Of Champions, but things didn’t go well after the match was over. As announced on WWE.com, Lynch has been fined $10,000 for striking an official with a chair during her match against Banks. The shot effectively ended the match but Banks and Lynch brawled around the arena for several minutes until other referees came out to separate the two and call for the bell. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch engaged in a battle for the Raw Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions 2019 and the two heated rivals ended up taking the fight all throughout the arena. However, this was after an incident inside the ring cost The Man some money, according to WWE.com: Becky Lynch has been fined $10,000 for inadvertently striking a referee during her Raw Women’s Championship Match against Sasha Banks. The Man had intended to deliver the chair strike to The Boss but ended up hitting the referee instead. After the referee went down, the title match descended into chaos, as the two rivals took their brawl to the concourse. The tournament, which has been held intermittently since the end of the annual competition in 2002, offers an instant upgrade for anyone who wins it, making the tournament a rather important accomplishment on almost any resume. From the purple crew. Clash Of Champions is coming up pretty soon and that means that WWE needs to get some more of the card together pretty fast. This week has already seen a few matches announced for the show, but with so many titles floating around WWE, there is almost always one more thing that needs to be set up. One of those was taken care of on Tuesday night. On this week’s 205 Live, Humberto Carrillo defeated Oney Lorcan to become the new #1 contender to Drew Gulak’s Cruiserweight Championship. Lorcan has spent several weeks chasing the title but lost in his title shot against Gulak at Summerslam. Carrillo has also been positioned to get a shot at Gulak, though this will be his first title shot of any kind in WWE. They beat each other up pretty well. (VIDEO): They Had Potential. Team Splits On SmackDown Live As A Big Storyline Takes A Twist.

They worked so well together. Teams come and go all the time in wrestling and you never can tell when things are going to go south for what seems like a good pairing. Ever since the Rockers’ split back in 1991, WWE has seemed more fixated on destroying a team rather than having them last for a long time. Another team seemed to come to an end this week and it was rather sudden. This week on SmackDown Live, Roman Reigns showed a video that seemed to show Erick Rowan helping in the forklift attack that almost took Reigns out. Rowan’s partner Daniel Bryan yelled at Rowan and slapped him in the face while calling Rowan a liar. This seemed to dissolve their partnership, while also announcing Rowan as at least one of Reigns’ attackers. Rowan and Bryan have been a team since January and held the SmackDown Tag Team Titles from May 7 until July 14 of this year. So much for that. Chris Jericho will face Hangman Adam Page at AEW’s All Out on Saturday, August 31 in Chicago. The winner of that match will become the first-ever AEW World champion and will reign over the new company, which will make its weekly TV debut on TNT in October. This will not be the first time that Jericho has been in the main event spotlight of course and it will surely not be the last. However the same cannot be said of Page, who is being groomed for a top spot in the company. But while his time will come soon enough, Jericho’s time is now and he should win it all on August 31. Chris has been to the mountaintop of the industry on six different occasions. Just a few years ago, the idea of something like that happening would have been impossible to fathom. The women’s division is still going strong and the return of Sasha Banks has made it better. Banks has a new attitude lately and that is the result of someone working with her on the character. According to Wade Keller’s Post-Raw Show, Banks’ promo from this week’s Monday Night Raw and her character since returning have been heavily influenced by Paul Heyman. Since her return, Heyman has been a major part of Banks’ character and helped shape the entire thing. The move means that he gets to run things how he sees fit on the show and that can cause some changes. Some new talent has been pushed in some different ways with new faces getting the spotlight.
