Rumor: WWE Considering Changing Kurt Angle’s Retirement Match?

This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. It had been previously reported that Baron Corbin will be Kurt Angle’s opponent for the final match of his career at Wrestlemania 35.
However, according to a new report from WrestleVotes, that match may not end up being the case:
From a source: Angle vs Corbin is being “reconsidered”. WWE did not expect this type of negative reaction, and thus, they don’t want such a negative feel to Kurt’s final contest.

From a storyline standpoint, it make sense for Angle to challenge Corbin. The Lone Wolf has been a thorn in The Olympic Gold Medalist’s side since becoming the Constable of Raw, and they h..

Rumor: They Have A Plan. WWE Is Working On Controlling Size Of WrestleMania Card, Which Matches Might Not Make It?

Not so long my friend. One of the biggest discussions of the entire WrestleMania season has been how long the show is going to be. With a possible seventeen match card, some fans are a bit worried about the show being longer than it ever has before, even with the two hour Kickoff Show. As it turns out, the fans aren’t the only people who have noticed, as WWE has their eye on the problem.
According to Rajah.com’s Twitter, WWE is trying to keep the WrestleMania card at thirteen to fourteen matches instead of the rumored seventeen. At the moment, the matches that could be dropped from the card are the Raw Tag Team Titles, the SmackDown Tag Team Titles and the Intercontinental Title. None of these matches have been announced yet, though with four television shows to go, there is a chance for any or all of them to be announced.
Some WrestleMania notes:
– Was told that Brutus Beefcake is still scheduled to be inducted into HOF
– Corey Graves and Renee Young hosting HOF instead of Lawler

Rumor: This NXT Star Is Likely Moving Up To The Main Roster After WrestleMania

Another one for the big show. With WrestleMania season in full swing and the biggest show of the year in just over two weeks, it’s time to look a little bit beyond what is already taking place on the main roster. In addition to everything going on with WrestleMania 35 itself, there are also the shows that come after it, meaning a lot of names are going to be moving up to the main roster, possibly including one in particular.
According to Wrestlingnews.com by way of Ringsidenews.com, current NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler is being considered for a main roster callup after WrestleMania 35. Baszler is currently scheduled to defend her title in a fatal fourway at Takeover: New York. There is also a possibility that Baszler could be called up without dropping the title, which has been done before.
It’s easy to see why WWE would want Baszler on the main roster. Check out one of her better matches from NXT:

Ring Of Honor TV Results – March 20, 2019

Ring of Honor
Date: March 20, 2019
Location: RP Funding Center, Lakeland, Florida
Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Colt Cabana
It’s time for things to get a little weird as we have the post-pay per view show taped before the pay per view, meaning we won’t be getting any kind of fallout. In other words, it’s going to be all about the wrestling and I’m not sure what that’s going to include. Hopefully they have something good here so let’s get to it.
Opening sequence.
Shinobi Shadow Squad vs. Silas Young/Briscoes Eli Isom and Jay start things off with Eli actually taking over for all of two seconds off a front facelock. A kick to the ribs cuts him down though and it’s off to Mark as the announcers tease spoiling a pay per view that hasn’t happened yet. Cheeseburger comes in and gets clotheslined as we take a break.
Back with Young clotheslining Burger as well before handing it off to Mark for a camel clutch. A missed charge lets Burger roll away a few times and the hot tag brings in Isom ..

The tournament concludes tonight and we’re going to have a new Wrestlemania match set. This wee will see Cedric Alexander vs. Tony Nese for the right to challenge Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight Title in a match that totally won’t be on the Kickoff Show. Other than that, Mike Kanellis is running out of chances to prove himself worthy of being on the 205 Live roster. Let’s get to it.
Drake Maverick recaps the tournament before tonight’s final.
Opening sequence.
Here are the Kanellises for a chat before Mike’s (now with no hair) match. Maria says he’s the greatest wrestler in the world and better than the best. Mike is about to prove everyone wrong, including whoever his opponent is.

Watch: Sting’s WCW World Championship Victories

The Icon has that name for a reason. WWE has posted a new video to their YouTube channel in which they show all of the televised WCW World Heavyweight Championship victories by Hall of Famer, Sting.
You can see the video in its entirety below:
[This post contains video, click to play]

The world title victories are as follows:
Ric Flair, Great American Bash, 1990 Lex Luger, Superbrawl II, 1992 Ravishing Rick Rude, Spring Stampede, 1994 Vader, Slamboree, 1994 Hollywood Hogan, Starrcade 1997 Hollywood Hogan, Superbrawl VIII, 1998 Diamond Dallas Page, Monday Nitro, 1999 Hulk Hogan, Fall Brawl, 1999 Editor’s Opinion:
Watching this video brought back a lot of memories. I remember hearing Jim Ross call matches for WCW back when I was growing up, and understanding what I do now about professional wrestling, it still brings back a great deal of nostalgia. Sting was always one of my favorite WCW superstars, and it’s cool to see WWE acknowledging his accomplishments and I hope that they do ..

Watch: Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker From Wrestlemania 30

The night that the streak was over. WWE recently posted a new video to their YouTube channel in which they posted the full match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker from Wrestlemania 30. It was the night that The Beast ended the 21-0 undefeated streak of The Undertaker in Wrestlemania matches.
You can see the match in its entirety below:

From WWE.com:
Records are made to be broken.
Heroes fall. Legends fade. History is rewritten.
We’ve learned to accept these truths about many things in this world, but not The Undertaker’s Streak. It was WWE’s one constant — a decades-long unbeaten WrestleMania run that had never been done before, and will never be done again. Every year, The Deadman would face down a worthy adversary — be it Triple H, Shawn Michaels, his brother Kane — and every year he would add another number to his win column until it stood at a towering 21-0.
The Undertaker’s match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania was meant..

Photographic Rumor: Two Top WWE Stars May Be Dating.

Royal Rumbles make for romance? Wrestling is a weird place as you have people running all over the country (and the world) due to how hectic their schedules are. It’s not out of the question to have the top WWE stars working 250 dates a year, which can make for some rough patches as far as having personal lives. It turns out that two people might be able to make it work.
According to Ringsidenews.com, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch may be dating. The two have been seen at a variety of places outside of WWE, along with Rollins showing up at a SmackDown Live house show about 100 miles from his home in Iowa. Neither has made any comment on this and there is of course the chance that this is merely just a coincidence between two people who work together.
Everyone out there wondering if Seth and Becky are dating while I'm over here wondering what she's reading on her phone ??? pic.twitter.com/qod2LPYP2m

Video: Bodycam Footage Of Jimmy Uso’s Arrest Released

Not so crazy? Last month, Jimmy Uso was arrested for disorderly conduct in Detroit, Michigan when a car driven by his wife Naomi was pulled over for going the wrong way down a one way street. Uso allegedly got out of the card and got in the officer’s face, though he eventually calmed down and was arrested. It was quite the story, and now there’s more to it.
Detroit’s WDIV (NBC news station) has released police bodycam footage of the incident, which shows both Naomi and Uso on the night of the arrest. While the footage isn’t shown in full, there are clips of Uso in handcuffs and in the back seat of the car while arguing with the officers. However, there is no footage of Uso “squaring up” to the officer, which is mentioned in the video but said not to have been recorded. Officers also spoke to Naomi, who was allowed to go.
There’s quite a bit here. Check out the report with the footage included:

A Different Direction. There Were Other Plans In Place For Rey Mysterio At WrestleMania.

The more things change, the more they change. Earlier this week, Rey Mysterio announced that he would be challenging United States Champion Samoa Joe at WrestleMania 35. Mysterio has never held the title so there was already a built in story. However, there was another story that was originally planned for the show which might have tied into things a bit better.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plans for WrestleMania 35 saw Mysterio facing Andrade in a mask vs. hair match. The two have been feuding for a few months now and have both tried to win the United States Title on multiple occasions. There is no known reason for why the plans were change, nor are there any current plans for Andrade on the show.
This is the kind of thing they could do. Check out their first major showdown:

He’s Not Dead Yet. We Have The Details On Undertaker’s Next WWE Match.

He just keeps going. The Undertaker might be the most famous character in wrestling history. There is no one like him who has been able to play the same kind of role for so many years and remain popular. You’ll often hear about someone trying to be a company’s Undertaker but no one has ever come close to matching him. He’s been going in WWE for nearly thirty years and now we know where he’ll be showing up next.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Undertaker’s next match will be taking place at the upcoming Saudi Arabia show on May 3. There is no word on who Undertaker will be facing or what the show will be called, but Undertaker is set for the show. This confirms that Undertaker is not retired from either the ring or the company, though at the moment he is not scheduled for WrestleMania 35.
Undertaker has been in Saudi Arabia before. Check out this match you might have forgotten:
