The latest word from the wrestling world is that Indie star Zilla Fatu competed at HOG High Intensity on Friday, where he lost the HOG Crown Jewel Belt to Amazing Red. After the match, Fatu received a “thank you” chant from the spectators, and Red wished him “solid luck.”
In early July, things were reported that Fatu was expected to begin working with WWE soon. He is a member of the Anoa’i family and has been wrestling for three years. In addition to the HOG Crown Jewel Championship, he is on top of that a one-time holder of the 4th Rope Heavyweight Championship.
As of now, there is no official confirmation that Fatu has agreed to terms with WWE or is heading there; it is simply indicated that he is anticipated to join the company.
