It looks like ''The Face that Runs the Place'' would be talking a leave from ''The Place'' for awhile.

John Cena, who competed against ”The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles and current champion ”The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship at this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown LIVE after losing the title in the Elimination Chamber main event this past Sunday, is expected to take another lengthy break from his regular schedule as he has a couple of times in the recent memory.

Dave Meltzer noted during a recent episode of his Wrestling Observer Radio program that Cena is expected to take his hiatus after this year’s WrestleMania.

The longtime top franchise WWE Superstar was initially rumored to face ”The Phenom” The Undertaker at this year’s “Show of Shows,” however the latest rumors have him teaming with his girlfriend ”The Fearless One” Nikki Bella to take on ”The IT Couple” The Miz and his wife Maryse Mizanin in a mixed tag-team bout.

Cena is currently not being advertised for any event following WrestleMania 33 leading all the way up to the Survivor Series PPV in November. The dates which he is not being advertised for includes the upcoming WWE European Tour, as well as the SmackDown-Exclusive PPV Money In Bank in June and SummerSlam in August.

This has led to speculation about Cena’s status after the 33rd edition of WrestleMania and many believe that he may be taking some more time off from WWE after the Show Of Shows.

WrestleMania 33 goes down live on Sunday, April 2nd at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
