According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WrestleMania 33 might not be ”The Icon” Goldberg’s last hurrah in WWE, as the company views his current run and return as a big success. With the exception of only a few appearances, Goldberg has been a big fan favorite at WWE events, and that’s something which has impressed WWE officials to a large extent.

Consequently, WWE is open to the idea of working with Bill Goldberg following ”The Showcase of the Immortals” WrestleMania 33, and the door to his in-ring career in WWE is open. If the current reigning-defending WWE Universal Champion does indeed decide to work with the company post WrestleMania in Orlando, it will most likely be in a special box-office attraction capacity, which would see him work select PPV dates, similar to how Brock Lesnar’s deal works.
