According to people who were in attendance during tonight’s Monday Night RAW TV taping, 2017 Edition of the WWE Backlash pay-per-view will be hosted in Chicago, Illinois on May 21st.

The event will take place at the infamous Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL, host of tonight’s RAW taping.

Also, it was revealed that the event will be a Smackdown Live exclusive offering. WWE Smackdown Live also hosted the 2016 Edition of the WWE Backlash pay-per-view, which was the first Backlash event since 2009.

Backlash is now the second brand-exclusive event that has been announced as a SmackDown Live exclusive for the post-WrestleMania year. It was announced earlier that Money In The Bank would also be exclusive to the blue brand.

So, the updated 2017 WWE pay-per-view event calendar (confirmed events) stands as follows:-
