– Bryan Alvarez on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live stated that “slight” changes have indeed been made to the structure ahead of this Sunday’s pay-per-view in Phoenix, Arizona.

And, understandably so, WWE has been promoting that Sunday’s WWE Championship match will take place in an “all new” Elimination Chamber.

No details are available at the moment on what changes were made, however, Stephanie McMahon told The Wrestling Compadres Slamcast in 2015 that WWE had dropped the event due to the logistics of hanging the Chamber, which weighs slightly above 10 tons.

Also, there were problems arising whilst hanging the Chamber structure above the ring in some arenas, because many buildings/arenas now have large scoreboards where the structure would be. WWE did end up bring back the Elimination Chamber after Stephanie’s interview as a Network special.

– A new match has been announced for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 PPV. ”Two Promising Talents” will go head-to-head in singles competition on the ”Kickoff Show” of the pay-per-view.
