It’s a different way to go. We are about to start the build to the biggest WWE event of the year with WrestleMania 39. Before we get there though, WWE has some more major shows to cover, with both the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. Those events need some big time matches as well, including multiple title matches. Now we might have a hint of what is coming next. Former NXT Champions Working Upcoming WWE Live Events Last week, a previously rumored WWE live event in India scheduled for January 18 was postponed for reasons that were not known at the time. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sony Six, the WWE television partner in India, decided to postpone the show. Sony Six is scheduled to merge with another company called Zee and wants the show to take place after the merger takes place. There is no word on when the show will be taking place. It’s not entirely the same. There are a lot of ways to present a feud in wrestling and some of them have been used in a variety of different forms. One of the most common is to have a wrestler injure someone they are feuding with and that is something still being used today. The latest instance took place last week on Monday Night Raw, but you wouldn’t know that at other events. Last week on Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins attacked Riddle, resulting in Riddle suffering a storyline neck injury. Their scheduled match at Summerslam was indefinitely postponed, though Riddle attacked Rollins at Summerslam. According to PWInsider.com, even though Riddle is not wrestling on television, he is still expected to appear at upcoming WWE live events. That is the kind of move that is going to have quite the ripple effect throughout WWE as others are going to have to be moved into their slots to fill in some gaps. It seems that has been made even more obvious this week, as WWE has made some changes. According to Brad Shepherd, Banks and Naomi are both off of WWE live events through at least the end of July. There is no word on when or if the two will be returning to WWE television before then. Sign It Up: New Title Match Confirmed For WWE WrestleMania Backlash

Put it on the list. We are done with WrestleMania but WWE is not done with using the show’s name. In addition to two nights of WrestleMania, there is also WrestleMania Monday Night Raw and WrestleMania SmackDown. That is four nights of the WrestleMania banner, but now there is another show called WrestleMania Backlash. Now we know something else to expect on the show. This week on Monday Night Raw, Sonya Deville announced that she would be the next challenger for Bianca Belair and the Raw Women’s Title. This week on the Bump, the match was officially confirmed for WrestleMania Backlash on May 8. Deville has only wrestled five televised matches since August 2020 due to dealing with an ongoing legal case. She has since returned to wrestling on WWE live events. Opinion: After Monday, this was more a matter of time than anything else and that isn’t a bad thing. She’s good at that. There are a lot of wrestlers under the WWE banner and it can be rather difficult for one of them to stand out above the rest. They have to do something special to make it work so well and having a major sports background can go a long way in doing just that. It was the case with a major return earlier this year and now we know a bit more about where things have gone since then. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Ronda Rousey has caused WWE live event ticket sales to increase when she is announced for the card. The WWE live event in Rochester, New York had been sitting “in the two thousands” in ticket sales prior to Rousey being added to the card and wound up selling 4,600 tickets. This has been the case with Rousey on multiple recent live events. Rousey returned in the women’s Royal Rumble and won the match, setting up her shot at the SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 38. NXT has seen some of the biggest changes of them all, as several of its wrestlers have been released from the company. WATCH: Kevin Owens Assaults Santa Claus, A Snowman And More

I guess Owens really isn’t a fan. We are in the middle of the holiday season with Christmas already gone and the New Year less than two days away. A lot of of people like to spend this time looking back and thinking about some of the more important things in their lives. Others like to go into fits of rage and assault innocent decorations. Guess which was the case over WWE’s live event tour. A video has been posted to Twitter showing a compilation of Kevin Owens attacking the holiday decorations at recent WWE live events. Owens attacks a snowman and a Santa Claus, including giving one of them a Stunner on the way back to the locker room. These incidents seem to have taken place within the last few weeks as WWE has been holding its annual holiday tour. Owens is currently scheduled to challenge Big E. in a four way match at Day One, with Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins also involved. Well that got intense. WWE Dramatically Changes Coronavirus Testing Policy

That’s one way to fix things. The Coronavirus pandemic has hit the wrestling world all over again and things are already starting to look bad. This weekend’s WWE live events were overhauled due to several names being pulled from the shows. There is a good chance that will continue going forward, and now WWE has changed one of their policies to make things a lot easier on themselves. According to Fightful Select, WWE has informed the Performance Center talent that they are no longer required to be tested twice weekly for the Coronavirus. Main roster talent has also been informed that regular testing will not be required either. There is no word on if a vaccination made a difference in the company’s decision. Shake it up a little. The Coronavirus pandemic is back in force and now it is coming after the wrestling industry again. While no major changes have taken place so far, it is clear that wrestling promotions and wrestlers themselves are being affected by what is going on. Brock Lesnar May Be Returning To WWE Live Events

He hasn’t been there in a bit. There is no one in wrestling like Brock Lesnar and that has been the case for a long time now. Lesnar is an absolute monster and no one really comes close to him. While he might have moved on to Hollywood for the most part these days, Cena is still the biggest name in wrestling and the reactions he has received since his latest WWE return would offer some proof of his superstar power. This weekend’s live event in Fort Myers, Florida saw 63% of its sales after Cena was announced for the show. That is the case with WWE, as they have a lot of titles to choose from at any given time.
