RUMOR: Jey Uso Declares He Is Out of the Bloodline

He’s no longer feeling Ucey. Jey Uso took to Instagram earlier today and posted a cryptic message, following the events of last night’s Royal Rumble premium live event. Backstage News On Why WWE Wrote Former World Champion Off TV

That’s a good reason. Wrestlers have to do a lot of things in any given week, with WWE stars not able to get much time away from the ring. There are only so many ways they can get out of work but WWE will often give them a break for something special. That was the case again earlier this month, as a WWE star was written off television for a very good personal reason. Earlier this month on SmackDown, Sheamus was attacked by the Bloodline, who injured his arm, with Sheamus not appearing on television since. According to PWInsider Elite, Sheamus was written off of television because he is scheduled to get married this week. Sheamus is not expected to be back for next week’s SmackDown and it is not clear when he will return to WWE TV. Opinion: First of all, good for Sheamus and his fiance. It is a special moment when someone gets married and that is the kind of thing that you do not get to see take place in wrestling very often. WWE Explains The Absence Of Two Monday Night Raw Stars

They need some time. There are all kinds of reasons to take someone off of a television show. It could be for anything from an injury to someone needing some time to be freshened up a bit. WWE does this on a regular basis and that is what they have done in two different ways with a pair of wrestlers, both of which were announced on the same television show. WWE seemingly wrote off or explained the absences of two wrestlers this week on Monday Night Raw. First, the Miz mentioned Tommaso Ciampa missing during a promo, with Johnny Gargano responding that Ciampa was not missing, but rather injured. Ciampa has not wrestled since a live event on September 17. It is not clear what is wrong with him or when he will be back. Later in the show, Damage Ctrl attacked Candice LeRae, with commentary later announcing that LeRae had suffered a shoulder injury. There is no word on when LeRae will be returning to the ring. AEW’s Paige VanZant’s Trainer Claims She Has Stopped Wrestling Training

Maybe later? Wrestling has a long history of athletes from other sports coming in and trying their hands at something else. It has been hit and miss throughout history, with certain sports doing it better than others. Mixed martial arts has some of the better success, but now one of the more prominent fighters turned wrestlers seems to have have dropped wrestling, at least for the time being. Former UFC fighter Paige VanZant has appeared multiple times for AEW over the years, including wrestling a match at Double Or Nothing 2022. However, during an interview with K & S Wrestlefest, VanZant’s trainer Gangrel said that VanZant has stopped communicating with her. Gangrel says that VanZant wrote him and asked for some critiquing of her match but the stopped contacting him. He also said that while she was talented, she did not train as often as he would have liked. There is no word on if VanZant is training elsewhere or has stopped training for the time being. What could have been. There are certain moments in wrestling that fans remember for a long time to come. Some of them are remembered for better reasons than others, but there are things about them that stick in fans’ minds for a good while. That was the case with one such moment about ten years ago, and now we are learning something new about it. CM Punk was a guest on the Heel Turn Sport 1 Wrestling podcast and discussed his Pipe Bomb promo from the June 27, 2011 Monday Night Raw. During the interview, Punk said that he wrote everything in the promo and only gave an outline to Vince McMahon, with Punk filling in the details on the way. Punk did not tell McMahon the specifics of what he was going to say, with McMahon only asking him to include something making fun of Stephanie McMahon. How Can You Help Ricochet Rebuild His Mother’s Home After Disaster Struck?

We have some sad news to report, along with a way that we can help. Just a few hours before he officially became a Raw Superstar in the 2019 Superstar Shakeup, Ricochet received some difficult news. His mother’s home, the house he grew up in, was destroyed in a fire. Thankfully, his mother, her boyfriend and her boyfriend’s two children are safe, but the rebuilding process is going to be tough. As a results, Ricochet has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for some of the damages caused by the fire. He wrote the following regarding the disaster: Monday afternoon I found out that my mom came home from the theatre to find her house engulfed in flames. Luckily my mom, her boyfriend and his two boys are all okay, but devastated from losing all of the memories that were in this house. Rumor: Alexander Wolfe Not Leaving WWE; Heading To NXT?

This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. It had been previously reported that Alexander Wolfe was leaving WWE, and wrote a farewell message to everyone on his social media accounts. However, according to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this may not be the case. It is being reported that Wolfe isn’t leaving the company, but he may be going back to NXT as a singles competitor, or he could be used as one of the top stars on the European brand. Wolfe has always been known as one of the members of the group SAnitY, along with Eric Young, Killian Dain and Nikki Cross. The Rock Says He’s Proud of Nia Jax

The Rock has shown his support to his cousin a number of times before.</p><p>Here’s a relatively older video of The Rock putting over Nia Jax:</p><p>The Rock has stated that Jax has the potential to be the most dominant female athlete in the history of the WWE. Dana Warrior Says there Were No Plans for Ryback vs. Ultimate Warrior

WWE Wants CM Punk Back In The Company

<p>WWE apparently <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/wants/" title="wants">wants</a></strong> CM Punk to return to the company, according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.</p><p>While speaking about Mauro Ranallo’s return to the company, he wrote about how some people will <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/leave/" title="leave">leave</a></strong> the company on horrible terms but most end up returning. Meltzer wrote, <em>“That’s why, no matter what is said, WWE wants C.M. Punk back and even though Punk was adamant about never doing it, history tells you time heals a lot of wounds.”</em></p><p>Despite WWE wanting Punk to return the company, he apparently has no intentions on it according to his wife, <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/aj-lee" title="AJ Lee">AJ Lee</a></strong>. During her recent book tour, AJ Lee said that she misses wrestling but her husband does not. It’s also worth noting that Punk is still going through a legal battle with WWE’s doctor Chris Amann, so it looks like a return anytime in the near future won’t be happening.</p>

<p>Russo welcomes former WWE writer Kristian Harloff to the show.</p><p>Harloff says that he was always a huge wrestling fan, and his favourite performer was ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage. He moved to Los Angeles to become a writer and a stand up comedian, and he met Paul Heyman through a WWE event one evening. He asked Heyman how to get a chance to write for WWE and Heyman told him to write a letter. He told Heyman he already did that, so Heyman told him to write another one.</p><p>He wrote the company again, this time including his take on an in-depth ‘Invasion’ angle. This caught the attention of <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/stephanie-mcmahon" title="Stephanie McMahon">Stephanie McMahon</a></strong> and she flew him into Stanford for an interview.</p><p></p><p>Russo asks Harloff why he’d want to make the jump from being a stand-up comedian to writing professional wrestling. He says that he always wanted to work for WWE and he had to take the chance. Unfortunately, shortly after arriving in WWE he realized that it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows behind the curtains.</p><p>Harloff informs that he got on management’s radar <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/quick/" title="quick">quick</a></strong>, but not in a positive way. During his first pre-show production meeting which was led by <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/vince-mcmahon" title="Vince McMahon">Vince McMahon</a></strong>, Harloff raised his hand to ask questions on multiple occasions. Coach came up to him after that and told him to settle down a little bit, because you don’t want to be ‘that’ guy.</p>

Bad News Regarding Former Tough Enough Competitor Matt Cappotelli’s Health

<p>It was <a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/2017/06/28/former-tough-enough-competitor-matt-cappotellis-brain-tumor-returns/">reported</a> a few <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/weeks/" title="weeks">weeks</a></strong> ago that former WWE Tough Enough Talent, Matt Cappotelli’s <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/brain/" title="brain">brain</a></strong> cancer had returned after 10 years. Matt took to his <a href="https://www.facebook.com/matt.cappotelli?hc_ref=NEWSFEED&fref=nf" target="_blank">Facebook page</a> to provide yet another update on his health and the news isn’t good.</p><p>Here’s what Cappotelli wrote:</p><p><em>“Diagnosis is in.</em></p><p><em>I have a grade IV GlioBlastoma Multiforme (GBM).</em></p><p><em>This is not the news I was looking forward to hearing or sharing, but it will in no way deter me from continuing my fight. Spinal tap this Friday will determine if the cancer cells have spread to my spinal fluid. Monday is a follow up with my team of doctors to determine the treatment steps needed to beat this. Tammy “Sunny” Sytch Still Hospitalized

<p>Tammy “<strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/sunny/" title="Sunny">Sunny</a></strong>” Sytch remains hospitalized at Southside Hospital in Bayshore, New York after being admitted to the emergency room last weekend.</p><p><em>“Still here. Still getting tests done. Not fun. Someone amuse me,”</em> she wrote on Friday.</p><p>She mentioned on Tuesday that she would not be sharing details regarding her health.</p><p><em>“I’m still In the hospital but I won’t be sharing any details about my health because <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/every/" title="every">every</a></strong> time I do, websites <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/write/" title="write">write</a></strong> about me and post my bloody head pictures,” Sytch wrote. “Sorry, but I can not give any details any longer.
