One way to do it. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as they can put someone out of action for any length of time. There are all kinds of injuries, but there are also various ways to write someone off television with those injuries. We saw a bit of a unique one earlier this week as an NXT star was taken off television, but things might not have been what they seemed. Wendy Choo was written off NXT TV earlier this week, having been attacked in the parking lot. There is no word on who attacked Choo or how long she is expected to be out of action. According to F4WOnline.com, Choo is out of action with a legitimate injury, though she is not expected to be out of action for very long. Choo last wrestled on the February 16 edition of Main Event. This is the second time that NXT has used a parking lot attack this year to explain a legitimate injury, after Nikkita Lyons was attacked as well. Choo is a unique star when she is around. They did it again. There are all kinds of ways to write someone off of a wrestling television show, with an injury being one of the most common. That explains it. Injuries are one of the most common problems that a wrestler faces, as you never know when someone is going to be put on the shelf. Wrestlers can get injured at any time and occasionally you won’t see it happen. It’s another field. Wrestlers are very talented performers in that they are able to go to a ring or grab a microphone and convince fans to watch something that they are doing. It might be a bit. There are a lot of reasons to write a wrestler off of television, whether it is for the long term or the short term. Sometimes it might be done as a way to freshen someone up or as a way to boost up another wrestler for taking out their rival. It would be an idea. There are all kinds of ways to present a wrestling story and some of them can be issues fans can relate to. At the same time though, there are some stories that are a little bit more outside of reality, as you would not be likely to see them take place in most people’s lives. Now we are hearing about some pitched ideas in WWE that would fit either list. Former WWE writer Brian Gerwitz took to Twitter in response to recent “discussed” Royal Rumble plans. Gerwitz revealed some ideas that were “discussed” during his time with the company. Gerwitz mentioned two stories, neither of which ever made it to television. First up, there was an idea pitched of Vince McMahon having a midlife crisis, resulting in him growing a beard, wearing a Hawaiian shirt and singing Black Eyed Peas songs. The other idea would have involved Kaval, better known as Low Ki, revealed as Undertaker’s long lost son. There is no word on how close WWE came to using either idea. Things “discussed” i..
That’s a lot of money. WWE has long since been the world’s biggest and most dominant wrestling promotion. That could be a long one. There are all kinds of ways to write a wrestler off the shelf for more than a little while. One of the easiest ways is to have a wrestler suffer a storyline injury, which can get rid of a wrestler for about as long as you need. That was the situation this week as a SmackDown star was written off of television for what seems to be a pretty long time. The opening match of this week’s SmackDown saw Solo Sikoa defeat Sheamus. Following the match, the Usos helped Sikoa crush Sheamus’ arm and elbow with a series of chair shots. During the show, commentary announced that Sheamus was taken to a hospital. After the show was over, WWE sent out a tweet, announcing that Sheamus has suffered a non-displaced fracture near his elbow. There is no word on when Sheamus will be returning to the ring. Yeah he did that. There has never been anyone like Vince McMahon in the history of wrestling and there never will be again. McMahon was the definition of a one of a kind personality who was known for his odd quirks, including getting annoyed at things for no apparent reason. During a recent edition of his Wrestling With Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. revealed that McMahon would get angry when someone used the word “strap” to refer to a championship during a promo. While McMahon would not allow the word “belt” to be used, the word “strap” would reportedly cause him to go into a rage, to the point where nothing else in the promo mattered to him. McMahon retired from WWE earlier this year after nearly 40 years in charge of the company. Opinion: This is about as McMahon of a thing as you can get and I’m not remotely surprised. He has always been known..
