They discussed a number of topics, including the rumors that CM Punk may be coming back to WWE. When asked if Rollins would want Punk back in the locker room, The Visionairy had this to say: “Oh Philly Phil, stay away. Stay away, you cancer. Get away from me forever. Matt Cardona On Possible WWE Return: “Always Ready For Any Opportunity”

He’d take a call. There have been a lot of returns to WWE over the last few months and a lot of that has been credited to the new regime in charge of the company. As a result of Vince McMahon losing power in the company, some wrestlers who have left the company have been willing to consider a return. Now another company might be interested should the right offer come up. During a new interview with Metro, Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, said that while he does not want to return to WWE, he would be willing to take a phone call. Cardona said that right now, he is focused on having the most fun and making the most money possible. However, he does want to wrestle in Madison Square Garden again and have another WrestleMania moment. In addition, Cardona issued a statement to Wrestling Inc., saying that he was busy with other projects but was “Alwayz Ready” for any opportunity. There is no word on WWE being interested in a Cardona return. Opinion: I don’t..

UPDATE: WWE Change Actually Not Taking Place After All

Not so fast? There have been all kinds of changes taking place in WWE over the last few years and some of them have been a lot more noticeable than others. Those are the changes that make the biggest headlines for the most people, but there are some that do not get that level of attention. It seems that one should not have gotten as much attention because it was not true. Earlier this week, a story came up saying that WWE was closing its office in Mexico City, as it had done in the United Kingdom and Japan. However, according to Sean Ross Sapp and corroborated by Wrestling Inc., the office will be staying open, as per employees who work in the office and a statement from WWE. There is no word on why there was confusion about the closing in the first place. I've heard from people who work at WWE's office in Mexico that say the office is not shut down as reported — Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com (@SeanRossSapp) November 18, 2021 Well that’s good to hear. A Lot Happened Before And After This Week’s SmackDown

It was a busy night. WWE has a lot of programming to offer every single week and it can be quite a bit. Sometimes it is hard to remember everything that is going on, which is not often the best way to go. There is not much of another way around it though, as there are so many wrestlers that sometimes WWE needs to use that much time. This week, they needed even more time than usual. According to Wrestling Inc., there were three non-televised dark matches during this week’s WWE SmackDown taping. Prior to the show, there were two NXT matches, as Johnny Gargano defeated Kyle O’Reilly and Amari Miller defeated Dakota Kai. After the show went off the air, Drew McIntyre and the Viking Raiders defeated the Bloodline. Of the six SmackDown wrestlers, only Jey Uso and Roman Reigns of the Bloodline did not wrestle twice on the night. Here’s The Funny Way A WrestleMania Story Was Started

It has to start somewhere. There are a few different kinds of stories that are always going to work in wrestling and they can get some nice reactions. Every now and then, you see something that works even better than expected and everyone comes out looking better than they did coming in. That was the case last year and it turns out that it only started because of a joke. One of the biggest stories at last year’s WrestleMania 36 was the budding romance between Mandy Rose and Otis. The two of them had seemed ready to get together for months but the combined forces of Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville kept them apart. It all came together at WrestleMania, but how did the whole thing get started? Now we know the surprising answer. In an interview with the Wrestling Inc. Daily, Levi Cooper, formerly known as Tucker in WWE and Otis’ former partner, revealed that the Otis and Rose romance storyline began as a rib on Rose’s then boyfriend Tino Sabbatelli. Otis would post jokes on social media,..

Backstage Reaction To Mark Carrano Being Fired From WWE

What a nice guy. The big story coming out of WWE this week was the situation involving Mickie James’ belongings being sent to her in a trash bag following her release. This did not sit well with the higher ups in WWE and the company’s talent relations department was shaken up as a result. This included some major firings, and now we know a bit more about one of the people fired. Mark Carrano, a longtime member of the talent relations department was let go over the situation. Former NXT interviewer Christy Olson, co-host of the Wrestling Inc. Daily Podcast, discussed Carrano on the most recent episode and said that she was not surprised by him being fired. Olson described Carrano as being around several of the recent talent releases and suggested that he is the person who was around to intimidate talent into thinking they could be fired at any time. There was a bit more to Carrano than that though and it is not exactly pleasant. Several former WWE wrestlers have spoken about Carrano, ..

The more you know. The COVID-19 pandemic has been at the forefront of world culture for the past 6 months, and almost every industry has been affected by its devastation. However, professional wrestling has found a way to remain on the air, using testing to providing a safe working environment for all of their performers, staff, and production team. But how have they done it? According to a report from Wrestling Inc., both WWE and AEW are doing weekly COVID-19 tests to all performers, to ensure that it is safe for them to be in a wrestling ring each night.
