Uh Oh? Seth Rollins Sends Out Worrying Tweet Referencing Major Injury

That’s not a good sign. Injuries are one of the worst things that you can see in the wrestling world as you never know when someone is going to be taken out of the ring for a long time. A wrestler can be hurt out of nowhere and the question becomes how long they are going to be gone. This week saw a WWE star possibly get hurt and now we might be getting a flashback. Following the show, Rollins’ knee, which had been worked on during the match, gave out and he had to be helped to the back. Rollins has since sent out a tweet saying “Redesign. Rebuild. Reclaim.” This is the same message that Rollins sent out after he tore his ACL in 2015. There is no word on if Rollins is actually injured or if this is part of a storyline. Redesign. Rebuild. Wrestling Legend Reveals Serious Health Troubles Caused By Alcohol Abuse

It could be worse. One of the more surprising wrestling stories of the year was the announcement that AEW’s Jon Moxley would be entering rehab for alcohol issues. The story came out of nowhere but was a good example of someone realizing that they had a problem and getting the help that they needed. It’s not the easiest story to hear, and now we are hearing something similar. In an interview with Oricon News (with translation courtesy of 411mania.com), wrestling legend and former WWE Women’s Champion Bull Nakano revealed that she was hospitalized last year with cirrhosis of the liver due to alcohol abuse. Nakano said that she refused to go to the hospital due to worrying about work but her symptoms eventually became too bad. Her husband eventually found out how bad things were for Nakano and convinced her to go to the hospital. She also mentioned that she would drink every day but now no longer has since quit and feels healthier as a result. Nakano last wrestled on November 3, 2007. N..

It’s worth worrying about. The Coronavirus has shaken up the world over the last year plus and wrestling has been no different. There have been a lot of challenges for everyone but a lot of forward progress has been made. However, things have recently taken a step back due to the variations of the virus spreading throughout the country and world. It is having another impact on wrestling as well. According to Bodyslam.net, AEW is worried about how the recent spike in Coronavirus cases could affect their future plans. AEW is planning to run a series of events in Chicago in August and September, plus Grand Slam in New York City. There are worries that the cities may force new lockdowns or regulations which could impact the shows.
