Since the now infamous Hell in a Cell match between Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes back in June, the WWE Universe continues to wait for Cody’s return. All indications were that Cody would have been challenging Roman Reigns by SummerSlam. However, the torn pectoral muscle took him out of the game until next year. The general consensus on the rumor mill is that Cody Rhodes is expected back for the Royal Rumble in January. That’s about six months of recovery time for him. The expectation if that happens is that Cody would win the match and main event WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns. People are counting on that, but it’s been a minute since we had an update. Related: How Cody Rhodes Was Allowed To Wrestle At Hell In A Cell Brandi Rhodes, Cody’s wife, recently appeared on Steve Fall’s Ten Count and provided a health update heading into the end of the year. During the session, she described Cody’s progress as “really good” and told a few stories about him working with his physical thera..
That’s a big difference. The wrestling world has changed quite a bit over the years and some of those changes have been very positive. It is interesting to see where things go year to year, but some of the differences are so staggering that it is almost a different universe. Now a rather important aspect of WWE’s financial status has undergone quite the change. According to Wrestlenomics, the eight WWE Saudi Arabia events have generated $400 million for the company. By comparison, adjusted for inflation, ticket sales for all 38 WrestleManias combined have generated about $250 million. WWE began running two events in Saudi Arabia annually (one each in 2020 and 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic) in 2018. Thru 8 events in Saudi Arabia, WWE has nearly made 2x as much revenue as they've generated from every Wrestlemania ticket ever. ? Believe. WWE is beginning a special event in the month of November that commemorates the 10-year anniversary of Roman Reigns and Seth “Freakin” Rollins making their debut with the company. From WWE.com: Ten years ago this month, the WWE Universe was first introduced to two Superstars who would go on to change the face of sports-entertainment, Roman Reigns and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Alongside their Shield teammate Dean Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins emerged from the crowd on Nov. 18, 2012, to interrupt the main event of that year’s Survivor Series, setting in motion two careers that have forever since been intertwined. Since that seminal night, The Head of the Table and The Visionary have become nothing short of WWE’s standard-bearers. They’ve won World Championships (including Reigns’ currently held Undisputed WWE Universal Title), headlined WWE’s biggest Premium Live Events and consistently been the talk of the WWE Universe, both as beloved fan-favorites and controversial rulebreake..
He wants back in. There have been a lot of stars to appear in WWE over the decades and some of them have made quite the impact. Whether or not they were major successes in the company, they have done something to get the fans’ attention. Some of those stars leave over the years, but that does not mean their time in WWE is over. One former star is now hoping for a third run with the promotion. Former WWE star Chris Masters, 39 years old, has sent out a tweet mentioning the 2023 Royal Rumble and saying that he has been away from WWE for twelve years. The image includes a fan sign saying BRING CHRIS MASTERS BACK. Masters wrestled two stints in WWE over the years, from 2005-2007 and 2009-2011. There is no word on if WWE is interested in bringing Masters back. In between and after his time with WWE, Masters has wrestled in a variety of independent and smaller promotions. 2023 Royal Rumble? I mean it has been 12 freaking years???#wweuniverse #royalrumble #wwe #2023 #wrestling #smackdownliv..
Welcome aboard. Wrestling is a weird universe when it comes to mainstream recognition as it exists in its own very firm bubble. You are either in the wrestling world or not and it is an industry that is often looked down upon as a result. It can be fun to see someone well known for something outside of wrestling get involved and that might have been the case again this weekend. WWE held its annual Summerslam event over the weekend and as usual it was one of their biggest shows of the year. Actress Kat Dennings, best known for her roles in the Thor movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Two Broke Girls tweeted about the show, saying that it was her first Summerslam and made her feel unwell. She followed that with a tweet saying that she thinks she loves WWE. Just watched my first #SummerSlam and I am unwell — Kat Dennings (@OfficialKat) July 31, 2022 Oh no I think I love @WWE — Kat Dennings (@OfficialKat) July 31, 2022 Opinion: This is one of those things that WWE can brag ab..

It actually happened. There is no one in the history of wrestling as powerful as Vince McMahon. Whether you like him or not, McMahon has been the force in wrestling for well over twenty years now and anything he says or does can change the industry as a whole. No one has ever had his kind of power or influence, but now two people are going to have to try. On Friday afternoon, McMahon announced that he is officially retiring as Chairman and CEO of WWE. McMahon said that at 77 years old, it was time for him to go. He also announced that Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan will be co-CEO, with Stephanie serving as Chairwoman. Vince will still be the majority stockholder in WWE, though there is no word on what this means for his status as head of creative. This comes amid an investigation into Vince over hush money payments for a series of alleged affairs with various women in WWE. At 77, time for me to retire. Thank you, WWE Universe. Then. Now. Forever. Together. #WWE #thankful — Vince ..
