A totally different way to go. With less than three weeks to go before WrestleMania 39, there is only so much time left to get everything set for the show. That can make for some last minute problems, especially if something comes up that causes an issue. It’s possible that is the case again, and it could have a rather big impact on what we are seeing at WrestleMania. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Try Again: Update On WWE Pitching WrestleMania 39 Ideas To Steve Austin One of the bigger wrestling stories at the moment is the status of Bray Wyatt. While Wyatt has reportedly been dealing with a medical issue, Wyatt has been dealing with Bobby Lashley in recent weeks. However, on Monday, Lashley sent out a tweet talking about how he had worked too had and is willing to face anyone at WrestleMania. There was no mention of Wyatt, suggesting that WWE is moving on to something else for the WrestleMania match. This is NOT seen as a fact but rather speculation at this point. I’ve worked too hard to ..
It was fun while it lasted. There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster that it can be easy to forget about some of them. To make it even more complicated, there is also the NXT roster, which features stars who are not on television nearly as often. Occasionally someone will quietly slip away from the company and that seems to be the case again with an international star. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Considering Two Huge Backlash Main Events According to Tokyo Sport, Sarray’s WWE contract has expired and she will be returning to the ring in Japan on May 16. Sarray signed with WWE in 2020 but her debut was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. She appeared infrequently on NXT and was eventually repackaged into an anime inspired character who transformed with a magical necklace. Sarray last wrestled for WWE on the August 2, 2022 NXT and only wrestled 23 matches for WWE in total. Sarray was fun while she was around. Check out some of her time in WWE: [This post co..

They have spoken. WWE recently released a video in which several superstars give their predictions for who will win the 2023 Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadephia Eagles. The game is being played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. You can see the video below: [This post contains video, click to play] The superstars and their picks are as follows: Street Profits – Eagles Baron Corbin – Chiefs The Miz – Chiefs Ricochet – Eagles Dolph Ziggler – Chiefs Bobby Lashley – Chiefs Madcap Moss – Eagles Austin Theory – Chiefs Sarah Schriber – Chiefs Ashante Thee Adonis – Eagles Top Dolla – Chiefs B-Fab – Eagles Tegan Nox – Doesn’t Care Editor’s Opinion: Most of the superstars interviewed are riding with the Chiefs, which I totally get because they have Patrick Mahomes. However, I’ve thought that, for the most of the year, the Eagles have been the most complete team with that explosive office, under Jalen Hurts. Because of the fact that I think the Eagles have..
That’s a serious one. Injuries can take out any wrestler at any time and you never know when you are going to see someone put on the shelf for a good while. The question becomes just how bad the injury is and how long the recovery time is going to be. This time it seems that an NXT star has suffered one of the more severe injuries that they could receive. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Talk To Me: WWE Introduces New Broadcaster With Independent Background NXT’s Amari Miller has announced that she has suffered a torn ACL and will be undergoing surgery next week. While Miller did not list a time frame for her recovery, a torn ACL normally requires nearly a year of recovery. There is no word on when or how she suffered her injury. Miller made her NXT debut in September 2021 and has mainly competed on NXT LVL Up, though she has occasionally wrestled on NXT as well. I have torn my ACL and getting surgery next week Life happens in the CRAZIEST way. Everything happens for a reason and I totally t..
Welcome back. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster, to the point where it can be difficult to keep track of everyone. It makes things even more complicated when someone leaves television for one reason or another, which happens every so often. A current WWE star is gone, but now we have a better idea of when he might be back in the ring, albeit maybe not on television. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: No More: How Vince McMahon Has Been Almost Totally Removed From WrestleMania 39 Back in December 2022, Matt Riddle was written off television with an injury at the hands of Solo Sikoa, with WWE saying that he would be gone for six weeks. Now, according to PWInsider.com, Riddle is advertised for Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn, New York on February 13. There is no word on if this return will take place or if Riddle will appear before the show. Riddle is fairly awesome at what he does. There’s some fallout. The biggest change in the wrestling world in 2022 was Vince McMahon retiring from WWE after nearly forty years in charge of the company. That is the kind of shakeup that you never see in wrestling and it has caused a variety of changes for WWE. One of the biggest changes is still ongoing though and it involves one of McMahon’s greatest creations. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Seth Rollins Possibly Injured On Monday Night Raw According to Fightful Select, everything that McMahon had in mind for WrestleMania 39 is no longer planned for the show. This includes the ideas of John Cena vs. Logan Paul, Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey and possibly Cody Rhodes challenging for the WWE Title, though that idea was never officially pitched to WWE creative. There have been some matches rumored for WrestleMania, but nothing has officially been announced so far. WrestleMania 39 takes place on April 1 and 2. McMahon has done some things at WrestleMania before. Check out some of hi..
She would work. In about a month, WWE will present its annual Royal Rumble event. As always, this will be one of the trickiest shows of the year, as it will feature a pair of Royal Rumble matches. With a total of sixth wrestlers between the two of them, those matches are going to require all hands on deck. Now a legend is offering her services if she is needed for the match. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re In: Backstage Reaction To NXT Stars Working WWE Main Event During a live signing for K&S Wrestlefest, WWE Hall of Famer Molly Holly said that she has told WWE Creative that she can be in the Women’s Royal Rumble if needed. However, she asked for some advance notice as she would be going from inactive as a wrestler to needing to be ready to go. Thus far, Holly has not received any such notice, though there is still a chance this could change. Holly has competed in three of the five women’s Royal Rumbles in history. Holly is nothing short of a legend. Check out what she has done over..
A different look. There are a lot of different wrestlers on any given roster, but some of them are even more unique as their significant other is also involved in the wrestling business. You do not see that happening very often, but it can make for a rather interesting subject. It might be interesting enough to take a special look at them, which is what WWE may be trying to do. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Planning Huge Brock Lesnar Match For WrestleMania 39 According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been in talks with the E Network about a reality show based around wrestling couples. WWE is reportedly looking for “legitimate” wrestling couples, though it is not known who might be included in the series. There is also no word on if the series has been finalized, though WWE and E do have a history together with Total Divas and Total Bellas. WWE has done romance angles before. Check out some of the better ones: [This post contains video, click to play] ..
That could make things awkward. Wrestling has changed quite a bit in the last few decades, as WWE has allowed wrestlers to stay in one place for a lot longer than they might have back in the territory days. That means wrestlers are going to be seen for a good while, which in this case led to a rather unique situation between two wrestlers, one of whom is a good bit older. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Double Trouble: Roman Reigns And Drew McIntyre Suffer Same Injury In Same Match According to the Sportster, Sasha Banks was interviewed by MTV’s Total Request Live in 2018 and revealed that when she was a child, she had a crush on SmackDown’s Sheamus. Banks, 14 years younger than Sheamus, said that she thought Sheamus was cute when she was a child. Sheamus is currently a SmackDown star while Banks has been absent from WWE since walking out on the company in May. This could have been an interesting pair. Check out the two in action: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post conta..
Call it an honor? AEW launched nearly four years ago with its first event in May 2019. The company promised to offer several new ideas and concepts, with one being a more sports based presentation. This included keeping track of wins and losses, which can pile up in a hurry. Now one AEW wrestler has reached a milestone that is noteworthy, but maybe not in the most positive way. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: AEW’s Thunder Rosa Records First Song This week on AEW Dark: Elevation, Lee Moriarty defeated Serpentico in a singles match. The loss gave Serpentico his 100th defeat in AEW, making him the first wrestler to reach that total number of losses in the company. Serpentico made his AEW debut in March 2020 and has wrestled both singles matches as well as teaming with Luther as the Chaos Project. Following his loss, Serpentico commented on the milestone: hold up y’all were counting this ENTIRE time? — MR. PENTICO ?? (@KingSerpentico) December 6, 2022 Serpentico has been around for a ..
They were there too. WWE runs a lot of different events throughout the year and some of them are among the biggest that any wrestling promotion presents. The biggest of them all are usually saved for major venues as premium live events. Another of them was held over the weekend and there were several stars present. It turns out that there were some more who did not appear on the show. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: That’s Better: New Report On WWE Backstage Morale Under New Regime WWE held its annual Survivor Series event over the weekend. The card featured five matches and less than thirty wrestlers in total. According to Fightful Select, Hit Row was brought in to Boston for Survivor Series but the trio did not appear on the show. There is no word on if WWE had them film additional material or do anything else while they were backstage at the event. Hit Row can offer a few things. Check out what they can do when they appear: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains ..
Dynamite Date: November 16, 2022 Location: Total Mortgage Arena, Bridgeport, Connecticut Commentators: Excalibur, Taz, Tony Schiavone, Ian Riccaboni It’s the go home show for Full Gear and that means the card could still use some work. If nothing else, we need to have some more matches in the Contenders tournament as the finals are still set for Saturday. Other than that, odds are we’ll be hearing from MJF and Jon Moxley. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Bryan Danielson/Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chris Jericho/Sammy Guevara It’s a brawl to start with the Club elbowing away at Guevara and Jericho, followed by a surfboard to Guevara. Back up and Guevara hits a dropkick to take over, allowing Jericho to come in for the chops in the corner. Danielson fights out and scores with the running dropkicks to Guevara but tries once too often. Jericho gets in a cheap shot from the floor and we take a break. Back with Danielson getting double suplexed but managing to get over for the hot tag to C..
That’s kind of the point. There are a lot of ways to describe professional wrestlers but one of the most important is right there in the title: professional. The wrestlers that you watch most of the time are doing this for money, with the top stars being able to do this without having to hold down another job. The very elite names make quite a bit of money and now we might know some specifics. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Brand New: Former WWE Personality Announces New Wrestling Promotion The Mirror (from the United Kingdom) has released a list of the salaries of some of the top names in WWE. There is nothing to indicate that there are no other names in this range, as some names are likely omitted. These names range from special attractions like Brock Lesnar and John Cena to full time stars like Bray Wyatt and AJ Styles to legends like Kane and the Undertaker. There is no word on if these are total salaries or bases with additional bonus money included elsewhere. • Brock Lesnar – $12 mill..
NXT LVL Up Date: November 4, 2022 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Sudu Shah, Matt Camp It’s a pay per view weekend and that means a grand total of very little on this show as Crown Jewel has no connection to NXT. LVL Up doesn’t have much to offer most weeks but maybe we can get in a nice match to take up some of the time. The show is usually at least decent so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Ivy Nile vs. Sol Ruca The fans approve of Nile as she works on the wristlock to start. Ruca trips her down and Nile actually grins a bit, only to have it cut off by Ruca’s headlock takeover. Nile is back up with a sunset flip but a jumpless X Factor gives Ruca two. A rather muscular deadlift suplex gets two on Nile but she is back with an armbar in the corner. The arm is fine enough to hit a side slam and a flipping splash connects on Nile in the corner. Nile isn’t having that and suplexes her over, setting up the Diamond Chain Lock (dragon sleeper) for the ..
Records are made to be broken. WWE has been around for a very long time now and the company has quite the history. Over the decades, WWE has put together all kinds of shows and events that take place on a regular basis. These are some of the most famous events in all of wrestling and now WWE seems set to break a record with a show that has been running for well over thirty years. WWE has announced that the 2023 Royal Rumble will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on January 28. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the show has already sold $4.6 million in tickets, the second highest advance total ever. The show is likely to break the record in the nearly three months left to sell tickets. There is currently no premium live event scheduled between this Saturday’s Crown Jewel and the Royal Rumble. Opinion: WWE seems to be doing a lot of things right at the moment and this is even more proof that things are going their way. Being able to point to a record like this helps a..
