Good For Them! WWE Personality Announces His Wife Is Expecting First Child

That’s pretty awesome. There are all kinds of people in the wrestling world and all of them have lives going on outside of the ring that we rarely see. They have the same kind of lives that we do, including some things that can be rather positive to hear. Now another WWE personality has some more great news and is sharing his family’s announcement with the world. WWE broadcaster Pat McAfee and his wife Samantha have announced that they are expecting their first child in may. Samantha revealed that she has lost two pregnancies in the past and this one was conceived via IVF. Pat thanked everyone who has helped them through the rough times to get to this point, including friends and family. Pat is currently on hiatus from his job as SmackDown commentator and is expected back after college football season ends. After about 150 shots, a surgery, a transfer, countless blood tests, waiting on embryos, genetic testing, hoping for a big fat positive on a pee stick. So much support from family..

WWE Reportedly No Longer Testing For Marijuana

That’s something specific. The WWE has come a long way when it comes to its drug testing policies. The company does not have the best history in regards to taking care of its wrestlers but the last several years have seen a much strong emphasis on the situation. However, one change has taken place recently as the company seems to be lightening up on a specific area. According to Fightful Select, WWE has not suspended or fined wrestlers for positive marijuana tests in years. WWE’s official drug policy on its website states that wrestlers will be fined $2,500 for a positive test, though WWE is apparently not enforcing this part of the policy. A WWE higher up said that he hasn’t heard as much as gossip about marijuana in years, let alone a fine being levied. There is nothing to suggest that any other parts of the policy have been relaxed. Opinion: This shouldn’t be a surprise and it is kind of hard to argue against the policy being lightened up. At the end of the day, there are states i..

Everyone does it eventually. Wrestlers are not like most people, but they are like most athletes. How Are WWE And AEW Testing For COVID-19?

The more you know. The COVID-19 pandemic has been at the forefront of world culture for the past 6 months, and almost every industry has been affected by its devastation. However, professional wrestling has found a way to remain on the air, using testing to providing a safe working environment for all of their performers, staff, and production team. But how have they done it? According to a report from Wrestling Inc., both WWE and AEW are doing weekly COVID-19 tests to all performers, to ensure that it is safe for them to be in a wrestling ring each night. Furthermore, the fact that all performers have been tested has led to the relaxed nature of mask-wearing by the talent for both companies. Here is how each company is handling its testing procedures: WWE: All talents are instructed to show up to a parking garage the day before tapings. Talents stay in their cars and are given a nasal swab test. The talent then leave and are sent a text, or other message, later that night letting..

WWE Department “In Shambles” After Several More Cuts

There they go again. Back in April, WWE released dozens of wrestlers from the company in an effort to cut down costs during the Coronavirus pandemic. The company let several wrestlers go as there was little reason to have them around given how there were no live events for them to wrestle on. There are more than just wrestlers working at a live event though and that’s where we are today. Live events may not be the biggest money makers for WWE, but they offer a big service aside from just financial. The shows are a testing ground for upcoming matches as the wrestlers can get in some practice before they move on to the big stage shows. They also allow for some wrestlers to get in the ring when they would not be doing so otherwise. That might not be the case for a long time, which was even more cemented this week. According to Wrestlinginc.com, WWE cut another 12-15 members of the Live Events staff, leaving the department in shambles. This would suggest that WWE is not likely to bring b..
