He’s new. WWE has a big enough collection of wrestlers that the company can split them into multiple rosters. That is the kind of wealth of talent that you do not see very often and WWE is mostly consistent with keeping each show’s wrestlers on their own roster. While there are exceptions, it can often mean a lot to have someone move over to the other show. Now it has taken place again, with a bit of a surprise. There are all different kinds of injuries as well, with some putting a wrestler out for a few weeks and others taking months if not longer. Unfortunately the latter took place last year, but a star is already on his way back to the ring. Rick Boogs Injured At WrestleMania 38; Update On His Condition

That’s not good. On Saturday night, Rick Boogs suffered an injury during Night 1 of WrestleMania 38. He was teaming with Shinsuke Nakamura as they challenged Jimmy and Jey Uso for the SmackDown tag team championships. WWE.com is reporting the following: After being carried off following his SmackDown Tag Team Title Match Saturday night, it was determined that Rick Boogs suffered a torn quadriceps to the patella tendon. Boogs suffered the injury attempting to perform yet another stunning feat of strength with both Jimmy and Jey Uso on his shoulders when his leg gave out. It can happen to anyone. As bad as it sounds, the reality is that injuries are one of the few universal problems for any wrestler. You never know when you might see someone get hurt and that is never a good thing to see. Unfortunately you can see someone get hurt at any time and they can be on the shelf for a good while. That is the case again, and now it is not sounding like the best news. This week on NXT, Vic Joseph announced that Odyssey Jones had suffered a ruptured patella tendon. Jones has already undergone surgery to repair the injury, which will put him out until the fall. The injury took place during a match on a recent 205 Live taping, which never aired. Jones’ most recent televised match took place the December 28, 2021 edition of NXT. Opinion: This is one of those things that happens on occasion, but it doesn’t make the situation any better. Road to recovery. One of the few constants in all of wrestling is being vulnerable to an injury. No matter how good or trained someone might be, there is always the chance that they could get hurt. It might even be due to a fluke accident, which can make things all the more dangerous. Some injuries can be a bit more devastating than others, but now a wrestler is on his way back from a long time on the shelf. According to PWInsider.com, NXT’s Ridge Holland has been working especially hard at the Performance Center to return from his injury as soon as possible. He has received praise for his attitude and work ethic to recover from his injury. Holland suffered a left ankle dislocation, a right knee dislocation and a patella tendon rupture in a fight with Oney Lorcan last October. There is no word on when he will be back in the ring.
