She’s In: Former WWE And Impact Wrestling Star Makes Surprise AEW Debut

She’s in. There are a lot of talented wrestlers in the world today and several of them are able to be seen on national television on a regular basis. It can mean a lot for someone to get their chance on a bigger stage and occasionally that is exactly what you get to see. It was the case again this week, as a former WWE star made their official AEW debut with a target already in sight. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Rey Mysterio Wrestles On Late Late Show This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite was held in Canada, with TBS Champion Jade Cargill issuing an open challenge to any Canadian. Cargill retained her title over Nicole Matthews in less than a minute, but after the match Taya Valkyrie debuted and attacked Cargill’s associate Leila Grey. Valkyrie is a former NXT star, where she wrestled under the name Frankie Monet, as well as a former Knockouts Champion. AEW President Tony Khan has since announced that Valkyrie is All Elite, suggesting she has signed with the company. Welcome to AEW,..

Impact Wrestling Results – December 22, 2022

Impact Wrestling Date: December 22, 2022 Location: Charles F. Dodge City Center, Pembroke Pines, Florida Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt We’re still getting closer to Hard To Kill and now it seems that a Tommy Dreamer vs. Bully Ray showdown is imminent. If there is one thing that this company has loved over the years, it is pushing the heck out of former ECW stars. Other than that, Jordynne Grace is getting ready to face Mickie James in what should be a heck of a pay per view Knockouts Title match. Let’s get to it. Opening recap. Opening sequence. Knockouts Tag Team Titles: Deonna Purrazzo/Gisele Shaw vs. Death Dollz The Death Dollz (with Taya Valkyrie) are defending and Jai Vidal is here with Purrazzo and Shaw. Jessicka powers out of a wristlock to start and then shoves her down again, meaning it’s time for Shaw to try. Shaw gets powered into the corner for a splash and it’s already off to Rosemary. The Upside Down has Shaw in trouble but Purrazzo kicks Rosemary from..

Multiple Title Changes Take Place In One Night

Hand them over. Titles are some of the most important things in all of wrestling as they tell any fan who matters most on the show. Wrestlers with a large shiny title in their hands are going to be treated as a bigger deal than others and it can mean a lot when a title changes hands. That is what happened on one night, as multiple championships changed hands on a single show. Impact Wrestling held its annual Bound For Glory event on Friday night where two championships changed hands. First up, Frankie Kazarian defeated Mike Bailey to win the X-Division Title for the sixth time. Later, the Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie/Jessicka) defeated VXT (Chelsea Green/Deonna Purrazzo) to win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles for the first time. In addition, Digital Media Champion Brian Myers, Tag Team Champions OGK, Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace and World Champion Josh Alexander retained their titles. Opinion: Bound For Glory is the kind of show that often sees a lot of changes so only two title cha..

Impact Wrestling Results – August 4, 2022

Impact Wrestling Date: August 4, 2022 Location: Old Paristown Hall, Louisville, Kentucky Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt We’re just over a week away from Emergence and most of the show has already been set. The World and Knockouts Title matches are ready to go but now we need to build up a little more of the card. That is what we can take care of over the next two weeks, as Emergence is already starting to look strong. Let’s get to it. The opening recap looks at Honor No More’s issues, setting up a ten man tag at Emergence. If Honor No More wins, they get a Tag Team Title shot, but if they lose, they’re done. Opening sequence. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Rosemary Taya Valkyrie and Jessika are here with Rosemary but there is no Chelsea Green for some reason. They glare at each other to start before Rosemary wins a test of strength. A bite to the face in the corner sets up a bulldog to drop Purrazzo again but she’s back up to wrap Rosemary’s arm around the rope. That doesn’t do ..

Hand Them Over: Several Title Changes Take Place Over The Weekend

It was a busy night. Titles are the easiest concept in wrestling because anyone gets the idea of someone wearing a shiny belt. You can easily figure out the idea and it is a simple match to set up: someone has a title and someone else wants it. That makes title changes some of the most important parts of a wrestling promotion and there were quite a few of them this weekend. Impact Wrestling held their Slammiversary pay per view over the weekend, marking the company’s twentieth anniversary. There were five title matches on the show with four titles changing hands. Here are the title changes: Mike Bailey won the X-Division Title in a six man Ultimate X match Rosemary/Taya Valkyrie defeated the Influence to win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles The Good Brothers defeated the Briscoes to regain the Tag Team Titles Jordynne Grace won the Knockouts Title in the first ever Queen of the Mountain match Impact Wrestling World Champion Josh Alexander retained his title over Eric Young in the main e..

Hand It Over: Multiple Titles Change Hands Saturday Night

It was a busy night. Titles are the easiest concept to understand in all of wrestling. Someone has a shiny belt and it means that they are the best at what they do. Someone else is going to want to take it from them and the two will have a match as a result. A title change can mean a lot when it takes place and that is what happened on Saturday, with multiple titles changing hands. Impact Wrestling held its Rebellion 2022 event on Saturday night and three titles changed hands on the show. First up, Taya Valkyrie defeated Deonna Purrazzo to win the AAA Reina de Reinas Title, though Purrazzo’s Ring Of Honor Women’s Title was not on the line. Next, Ace Austin defeated reigning champion Trey Miguel and Mike Bailey to become a three time X-Division Champion. Finally, Josh Alexander won the Impact Wrestling World Title from Moose, becoming a two time champion. Knockouts Tag Team Champions the Influence, Tag Team Champions Violent By Design and Knockouts Champion Tasha Steelz retained their ..

VIDEO: Three Released WWE Stars Make Surprise Appearances

Welcome back. There have been a lot of wrestlers released from WWE over the last year and a half. Those moves have changed the way the wrestling world works and that is not likely to be changing anytime soon. That makes for some rather interesting changes as other promotions are able to pick up some of the wrestlers here and there. That seems to be the case in triplicate this time around. Three recently released WWE wrestlers made appearances of some sort over the weekend. First, Taya Valkyrie, formerly known as Frankie Monet in NXT, appeared at AAA TripleMania and said that she was coming for Deonna Purrazzo Reina de Reinas Title. Also, former Universal Champion Braun Strowman, wrestling under his real name of Adam Scherr, appeared at GLCW Blizzard Brawl. The event was a charity show for the victims of the Waukesha, Wisconsin parade. Finally, Scarlett Bordeaux appeared at an MCW Pro Wrestling event, interfering in a match and attacking King McBride. These were some cool moments. Che..

Impact Wrestling Results – October 13, 2020

Impact Wrestling Date: October 13, 2020 Location: Skyway Studios, Nashville, Tennessee Commentators: Josh Matthews, Madison Rayne We’re almost up to Bound For Glory and that means it’s time to add in a few more matches before building up everything that has already been set. The show is still lacking that one big match to really make it feel special and I’m not sure what could fill in that role. That’s kind of a problem on the biggest show of the year. Let’s get to it. Opening recap. Moose is yelling at Scott D’Amore for being put in a match in an undisclosed location. D’Amore reminds him that it will also be against an opponent who doesn’t work here for a title he never won. Moose has no time for this and storms off. We cut to EC3 saying Moose is controlling his narrative. EC3 holds up the title and we cut to Moose, saying he knows where he needs to go. Opening sequence. Rosemary/Taya Valkyrie vs. Tasha Steelz/Kiera Hogan vs. Nevaeh/Havok Rosemary waistlocks Nevaeh to open thing..

Impact Wrestling Results – September 29, 2020

Impact Wrestling Date: September 29, 2020 Location: Skyway Studios, Nashville, Tennessee Commentators: Josh Matthews, Madison Rayne We’re on the way to Bound For Glory and that means we are starting to see the card coming together. This time around we are building towards the Tag Team Title match, as the Good Brothers and the Rascalz, who are likely heading towards a multi team title match, have their own match going on tonight. Let’s get to it. Opening recap. Opening sequence. Taya Valkyrie/Rosemary vs. Havok/Nevaeh Rosemary and Havok have to be held back to start so it’s Nevaeh running Taya over with a shoulder to start. The other two come in with Rosemary taking Havok down and hammering away to quite a bit of avail. Taya comes in but can’t whip Havok in, instead being clotheslined down. Nevaeh grabs a front facelock and then hits a basement dropkick for two. Havok comes in and gets two off Nevaeh’s clothesline. A quick crawl between Havok’s legs allows the hot tag to Rosemary a..

Impact Wrestling Results – March 3, 2020

Impact Wrestling Date: March 3, 2020 Location: Sam’s Town Live, Las Vegas, Nevada Commentators: Don Callis, Josh Matthews Things are moving around here as of late with Taya Valkyrie coming after Tessa Blanchard and the World Title. That’s a different way to go and I’m not sure how it is going to go. Other than that, we have the continuation of the bizarre feud between Su Yung and the forces of….the real world? Maybe? Let’s get to it. We open with a Nashville Strong graphic. Opening recap, entirely on Taya vs. Tessa. Opening sequence. The North vs. TJP/Fallah Bahh Non-title. Alexander and Bahh start things off but Page comes in as well, only to have Bahh clothesline both champs down. Page rocks Bahh with a right hand but he’s fine enough to slam Alexander anyway. A cheap shot from behind puts TJP in trouble though and Alexander rakes the eyes to really take over. Page runs him over again and goes to yell at Bahh, followed by the delayed vertical suplex, with the handoff. We hit th..
