That’s an endorsement. We are rapidly approaching WrestleMania 39 weekend and as usual, it will be the biggest and busiest few days of the wrestling year. Fans from all over the world will be coming out to see what WWE is doing that weekend, but there is also a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with what happens in the ring. One legend has put in a request for what he would like to see. In a new YouTube video, Hulk Hogan has endorsed the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, Jacques and Raymond, to be inducted this year. The Rougeaus teamed together in the WWE from 1986-1990. The battle continues. AEW coming into the wrestling world has changed the industry as there is now a new place for various stars to go. This also means that there are going to be stars who are going to be pursued by both companies. It can lead to some wrestlers moving around in one way or another, and now an AEW star seems to be at least interested in jumping ship. There is still a chance of the two sides coming to terms on an extension, with names such as Chris Jericho hoping to keep Cage in the company. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: And Done: AEW Stable Officially Disbands On Sunday at AEW Revolution, Wardlow defeated Samoa Joe to regain the TNT Title. This week, Wardlow posted a video to Twitter, revealing that someone broke into his rental car and stole his bags. These bags contained all of his wrestling gear, from his attire to his boots to the TNT Title itself. There is no word on if AEW has another version of the belt. This is the second time that an AEW title was stolen, as the World Title belt was stolen during Chris Jericho’s reign. It was eventually returned by someone who found it elsewhere. That was rough. That’s one less. Stables have been a common factor in wrestling for a very long time now as they are a concept that makes sense. Having a stable allows for several wrestlers to be able to get television time at once, often through a shared goal or characteristic. Occasionally you will also see wrestlers who are thrown together with nothing else to do, and now we are seeing one such stable go their separate ways. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: WWE And AEW Stars Reunite In New Music Video AEW’s QT Marshall has announced that the Factory, his AEW stable, has disbanded, citing hate from “experts” in wrestling. Normally I would say a pay per view card is set two days before the show but AEW has a tendency to throw in a bunch of stuff at the last minute. We are on our way to Roadblock and then Stand & Deliver, which means we should be in for some big stuff over the next few weeks. That includes this week, as Bron Breakker defends the NXT Title against Jinder Mahal. Ok so not everything can be the biggest deal in the world. Let’s get to it. Trick Williams vs. Ilja Dragunov Before the match, Williams says that if pain makes Dragunov feel alive, he’ll be on cloud nine tonight. Williams hits him in the face before the bell so Dragunov starts angry. That means an angry headlock on the mat, with Williams having to bail to the ropes. Back up and Dragunov hits a running knee in the corner for two, followed by another such knee to keep Williams down. A Step Up: AEW Announces International Television Deal With ESPN

The more the merrier. AEW has shaken up the wrestling world in a variety of ways, including offering all kinds of fresh content to wrestling fans. As a result, there is a lot more big budget wrestling to be seen in the United States, but that is far from the only place wrestling can be enjoyed. Now AEW is getting to move into a new market with a big international deal. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: One More: 51 Year Old Former World Champion Announces Planned Return To The Ring AEW has announced that it has reached a deal with ESPN to broadcast its events in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The content will begin airing on February 16, with Dynamite on Thursdays and Rampage on Saturdays. The company’s pay per views will also be available on a delayed basis. It’s Coming Together: Current Planned And Potential WrestleMania 39 Card *MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS*

That’s the big stuff. We are rapidly approaching WrestleMania 39 and that means the card needs to be either set up or close to set up. While the matches might not have been announced on television as of yet, there might be something different going on behind the scenes. As a result, WWE could have a strong idea o what is coming at the biggest show of the year, and now we might know a lot more about what they have planned. So far, there are three matches confirmed for WrestleMania 39. NXT Date: January 24, 2023 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Booker T., Vic Joseph We are just over a week away from Vengeance Day with Grayson Waller challenging Bron Breakker for the NXT Title. That is going to include a lot of build this week as we get ready for the title match, but there is some other stuff to do as well. The good thing is that a lot of the card is ready so let’s get to it. We open with a video from Grayson Waller, showing him coming to the Performance Center and throwing a bottle of water at Bron Breakker to set off a big brawl. Indi Hartwell vs. Tiffany Stratton Hartwell knocks her off the apron to start fast before the bell rings. Back in and we officially start with Hartwell throwing Stratton around and getting two off a dropkick. Stratton gets sent outside but manages to snap the arm across the top. Rampage Date: January 20, 2023 Location: Save Mart Center, Fresno, California Commentators: Jim Ross, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Chris Jericho We’re still in California and this week’s Dynamite is going to be a bit tough to follow. There is a good chance that we are going to get some solid matches though, as tends to be the case around here. Rampage can be rather fun when it comes to focusing on some of the lower level stuff and that might be what happens again this week. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Jungle Boy vs. Ethan Page Isaiah Kassidy, Stokely Hathaway and Matt Hardy are here with Page. Chris Jericho rants about the fans singing along with Jungle Boy’s theme song as Page tries an Ego’s Edge out of the corner to start. Farewell? Weekly Wrestling Series Seems To Be Coming To An End

One less? Wrestling has been around for a very long time and a lot of that time has seen it airing on television. It makes all the sense in the world as anyone can watch a wrestling match and get the basic idea. There are all kinds of ways to present wrestling and different promotions around the world have showcased it in varying styles. Now though, we might not be seeing one of them again. In a new post on his personal blog, New Japan’s Hiroshi Tanahashi revealed that New Japan Strong, the weekly New Japan American television series, will be coming to an end after this weekend’s television tapings. There was no reason given as to why the show would be coming to an end. WATCH: WWE Releases Never Before Seen Roman Reigns Match

Open the vault. WWE has been around for decades now and during their time, they have acquired several video libraries. As a result, WWE owns by far the biggest collection of wrestling footage in history with nothing coming close to it. This allows them to release almost anything they like whenever they choose, and now they are letting you see another match you have probably never seen before. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Farewell? Wrestling Legend: “I’m Getting Too Old For This S***” This week on The Bump, a never before released match between King Corbin and Roman Reigns was aired. The match took place following the February 28, 2022 SmackDown in Boston, Massachusetts. Corbin and his manager John Bradshaw Layfield did commentary from the Bump studios, along with hosts Matt Camp and Kayla Braxton. WATCH: WWE Officially Announces Special Match For Royal Rumble

That’s, uh, something. We are coming up on the beginning of the new year and that means it is time to start getting ready for some new stuff. For WWE, that means continuing the build to the Royal Rumble, which will include sixty wrestlers being used in two matches. Now though, WWE is advertising something else for the show that might be quite the featured attraction.
