He’s a big one. While there are all kinds of accomplishments and milestones to be achieved in WWE, there are very few that stand the test of time. Almost any title that is won is eventually going to be lost, which creates a problem for remembering some wrestlers more than others. There is one honor that sticks around forever though and now another star is receiving the special recognition. That would be a different way to go. Legends can do a lot of good things in wrestling as they offer a variety of unique opportunities that regular stars cannot pull off. It can mean a lot to have a legend pop up in the right spot and that is still the case today in WWE. This time around, we might be in for a major story involving a past star mixing it up with a current top star. According to WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, the current plan is for Stratus to turn on Lynch and feud with her throughout the summer, leading to a match between the two at Summerslam. There is no word on when the turn will take place. The long term plan, as of this moment, is that Trish Stratus will turn heel and work a pro..
Uncharted territory. Titles have been one of the most important parts of WWE history throughout the decades. A title reign helps define its specific era as it gives you a better idea of who the top stars in the company happen to be. That is the case with WWE today, and now a single title reign has reached a level that none like it ever has in the history of the promotion. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Again? WWE Hall Of Fame Teases Coming Out Of Retirement According to Fightful, as of Friday, the Usos have held the SmackDown Tag Team Titles for 600 days. This is the first time in the history of WWE that any Tag Team Title reign has reached this milestone. The previous record for any tag team title reign was Princess Victoria and Velvet McIntyre, who held the WWF Women’s Tag Team Titles for 572 days from 1983-1984. The Usos are also the Raw Tag Team Champions and have held the titles for 295 days. It has been a ride. Check out the Usos’ reign: [This post contains video, click to play] [T..
They had other plans. We are less than five weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and the show’s card has mostly come together. There are already several matches planned for the show, some of which have either been set in stone or all but set for months now. However, there have been some plans that had to be changed, and now we know just how much one title situation was originally planned. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Pick A Side: More On WWE Hoping To Sign AEW Wrestlers, AEW Looking To Do The Same? There is no word on if Rock vs. Reigns would have been for the Universal Title or how Reigns would..
They needed to do that. We are less than two weeks away from AEW Revolution and that is going to be a big night. AEW only runs four regular pay per view events in any given year so they have to make the most they can out of every show. The company knows how to stack their cards with a bunch of big matches and they moved closer to doing that this week, with more matches being added. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He Did It: Jon Moxley Is First To Reach Major AEW Milestone Two more matches were added to the Revolution card during this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. First, Ricky Starks issued an open contract for a match at Revolution and talked Chris Jericho into facing him in a rematch. Jericho also agreed that the Jericho Appreciation Society will be banned from ringside. Second, AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter agreed to defend her title in a three way match against Saraya and Ruby Soho, both of whom have wanted title shots. There is no word on how many more matches will be added to the s..
He’s the first. While they might not always seem like it, wins and losses make a big difference in wrestling. If a wrestler is not treated as someone who can win matches when they matter, or at all really, the fans are going to pick up on it. That is why winning consistently can make someone a big star, and now someone has reached quite the winning milestone. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Ouch: AEW Personality Says He Might Have Suffered A Broken Jaw This Week The main event of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw Jon Moxley defeat Evil Uno via submission. That’s on tap. We are less than forty days away from WrestleMania 39 and that means the card is really starting to come together. If the matches have not yet been announced, you can probably guess a good few of them, as they have been all but flat out said. This is the culmination of several months of build and now we know just how long one of them has been set in stone. This comes after Bayley missed WrestleMania 38 due to injury and hosted WrestleMania 37. I haven’t competed in the last two Wrestlemanias. Last year..
That’s a long time. Title reigns are some of the most defining spans of time for any wrestling promotion, as they often serve as cutoff points in a company’s history. A long title reign coming to an end can mark the beginning of a new era, especially if that wrestler is set to become the next big star. Now a current reign has reached a mark that has not been seen in a very long time. Reigns is set to defend the title this weekend at Elimination Chamber against Sami Zayn. Reigns has been a dominant champion. Check out some of his time with the..

That would be a change. You never know when you might see someone return to WWE after a long hiatus and it can make for quite the fun moment. Dynamite Date: February 8, 2023 Location: County Coliseum, El Paso, Texas Commentators: Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Taz It’s a title themed show this week as we have two title matches plus a pair of eliminator matches. That should be enough to make for a good night as AEW tends to treat its titles seriously. The build towards Revolution continues and we should be getting some more added to the card. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. Konosuke Takeshita Non-title. MJF’s offer of a handshake is brushed off to start so Takeshita hammers down some right hands in the corner. A knee is blocked and MJF sends him into the corner to take over. We hit the armbar, followed by a hammerlock DDT for two on Takeshita. Back up and Takeshita hits a quick brainbuster for two and a frog splash gets the same. Takeshita traps the legs and hits a Tombstone, followed by a wheelbarrow suplex to send MJF outside. MJF gets in a shot of his own and takes it back inside, with Takeshi..
