WRESTLING RUMORS: Update On AEW Star Possibly Moving Back To WWE

There’s no interest. The rise of AEW has seen several stars having a new place to go in the wrestling world. While there have always been other promotions to go to, there are only so many spots on such a high level. Not everyone is going to be a good fit in WWE for one reason or another and one former WWE star does not seem like he would want to be back there anyway. According to SportsKeeda.com, AEW’s Miro has no interest in returning to WWE or leaving AEW. This comes after Miro had seemingly vented frustrations about his status in AEW but has not asked for his release. There is also said to be no interest from WWE in bringing Miro back to the company, where he wrestled under the name Rusev. Miro has not wrestled since All Out on September 4. Opinion: There are some interesting discussions of wrestlers jumping from one promotion to the other and that makes things a lot more fun. It can be fascinating to see someone trying to get out of their deal or trying to move elsewhere and then..

WATCH: Natalya Seems To Break Character At WWE Live Event (This Is Weird)

These things happen. Wrestling has a lot of moving parts to any show, but it always comes down to the idea of people in the ring together having a match. That is a very tricky thing to do while keeping each other safe and having things go as planned and sometimes something can go wrong. It seems that was the case over the weekend in something you do not see happen very often. A clip from a WWE live event in Sacramento, California over the weekend shows Liv Morgan defeating Natalya with her signature Oblivion. However, after the match ends, Natalya pops up, shouts at Morgan, and leaves. According to Sportskeeda.com, Natalya, in a since deleted tweet, responded to the video, saying that while she was breaking character, she was saying “THANKYOU” to Morgan. Maybe Next Time: WWE Turned Down Rob Van Dam’s Recent Offer To Return

He was on deck. WWE has been around for a very long time now and there have been countless wrestlers walking in and out of the door. While there have been a lot of wrestlers, there are even fewer who have made any serious impact. Those wrestlers are big deals and when you see them pop up again, it can mean a lot. That was almost the case last month in a pretty big role. During a recent interview with Sportskeeda, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam said that he contacted WWE about being on standby for the men’s Royal Rumble. Van Dam even had a special outfit made up for the event, though WWE did not call him for the event. This came as WWE was said to have several NXT names on standby in case the Coronavirus took some scheduled names out of the match. Van Dam has wrestled multiple stints in WWE, with his most recent match taking place in August 2014. Opinion: It’s kind of a shame that WWE did not take Van Dam up on his offer as he is a star who would have gotten a nice reaction. Van Dam is..

WATCH: Monday Night Raw Star Not Happy With Survivor Series Match

Can you blame her? We are less than a week removed from WWE Survivor Series and the show did not seem to inspire the fans as much as it has in previous years. The main story of the show was the battle between Monday Night Raw and SmackDown for brand supremacy. This included a pair of Survivor Series matches, and one participant does not seem thrilled with how her match was set up. In a recent interview with SportsKeeda, Monday Night Raw’s Rhea Ripley said that she was disappointed that Nikki Ash, her regular tag team partner, was not part of this year’s Raw Survivor Series team. Ripley said that the two of them were both disappointed and that she found it a little bit disrespectful for Ash to not be included. Ash and Ripley lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles to Carmella and Queen Zelina this week on Monday Night Raw. She’s not wrong on a lot of this. Check out the interview, how they work together, plus Ash on her own and how the Survivor Series match went: [This post contains video, ..

WRESTLING RUMORS: Former WWE Star Getting AEW Tryout

Try your luck. The rise of AEW has changed all kinds of things about the wrestling world, but the biggest of them all has been allowing another high level promotion for the wrestlers to go. That is the kind of thing that has been missing from the industry for a long time now and it is interesting to see what happens when wrestlers go somewhere else. Now we might be seeing it happen again. Ricardo Rodriguez appeared at this week’s AEW television tapings in Boston, Massachusetts and will appear as a Spanish broadcaster on next week’s AEW Dark broadcast. According to Sportskeeda, this was seen as an audition for Rodriguez, who has not been signed to the company. However, the tryout was said to have gone well and things are looking good for Rodriguez in the future. Rodriguez worked for WWE from 2010-2014 as a ring announcer, commentator and occasional wrestler. Rodriguez was around WWE for a long time. Check out some of his work there: [This post contains video, click to play] [This p..

Paul Heyman Teases Surprising Addition To The Bloodline

That would be a way to go. Stables have been used in wrestling for a very long time and will continue to be as well. They are an idea that makes a lot of sense, as a company can put several wrestlers together and use them as part of a major story instead of a bunch of minor ones. Seeing someone new added can be a big deal and we are being teased by just that again. SmackDown’s Paul Heyman was recently interviewed by Sportskeeda. During the interview, Heyman was asked about Naomi potentially joining the Bloodline (Heyman’s stable, along with the Usos and Roman Reigns). Heyman asked how the interviewer would know that Naomi isn’t already in the group. Naomi is married to Jimmy Uso, with Heyman saying that fans see the Bloodline for two hours a week, leaving a lot of time for other things, such as speaking with Naomi, to happen. It was quite the discussion. Check out the interview, plus Heyman and Naomi at work: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, cli..

WWE Personality Goes On Crazed Profanity Laced Rant Over Adam Cole’s AEW Debut

I guess he isn’t a fan. There are certain wrestlers and wrestling personalities who just do not get along. For one reason or another, they cannot click and it is made clear every time they speak. This can lead to some excellent matches and even better feuds, one of which was rekindled earlier this week, despite the two people involved working for different companies. One of the biggest stories coming out of last weekend’s AEW All Out show was the debut of Adam Cole. After being rumored to jump to the company, Cole made his first appearance at the end of the event. Later in the week, Cole’s former NXT rival and current SmackDown broadcaster Pat McAfee went on a rant against Cole, insulting him in various ways before ultimately saying it was a cool moment. Here are the comments, with transcription courtesy of SportsKeeda.com: “We are gonna talk about Bay Bay later, that was quite a big moment last night. You know, he’s a piece of s**t, that guy. I mean congrats to him and that is a pre..

Riddle Offers Update On Backstage Feud With Goldberg

Can’t we all just get along? Wrestlers are tasked with a rather difficult trick: pretend to fight each other and convince everyone else that what they are seeing is real. It is a hard trick to pull off but the right people doing it the right way can work well. At the same time, there are instances where the issues are a little more real backstage. That was the case again recently, but it could have been worse. During an interview with Sony Sports India by way of SportsKeeda.com, WWE star Riddle spoke about his real life backstage altercations with Goldberg. The two have had issues before due to some comments that Riddle has made about Goldberg’s wrestling as well as calling him “bro”. Goldberg was back on Monday Night Raw in July and ran into Riddle before his segment. The two exchanged pleasantries with Goldberg congratulating Riddle on his success. Riddle described Goldberg as nice and the two spoke again briefly after Goldberg’s segment. These two have a complicated relationship. ..

Braun Strowman Reveals Surprising Career Plans

It’s something else. Wrestling can be a tricky field for a lot of people. While they are perfectly fine with getting in and going through the primes of their careers, you will often see wrestlers who have trouble finding their way out. It can be difficult to find an exit to wrestling as some wrestlers do not have another career opportunity. Now we know one fairly high profile wrestler who might have a plan. According to SportsKeeda.com, Braun Strowman recently answered a series of fan questions on his Instagram Stories. In response to being asked what job he would want to have for the next twenty years, Strowman said that he would like to be a motivational speaker. There is no word on where he will be signing next. Strowman was signed to WWE in 2021 and debuted on the main roster in 2015 as part of the Wyatt Family. After..

Former WWE World Champion Open To Returning

Are they interested? There have been a lot of wrestlers to come and go through WWE over the years with some of them being more famous than others. Only a handful have reached the top of the company as the World Champion though, and that is the case for a reason. Holding one of those championships is a special honor and now someone who has done it before is interested in returning. During an interview with SportsKeeda, Alberto El Patron, formerly known as Alberto Del Rio in WWE, said that he would be open to a return to WWE in the future. El Patron said that he is sorry for the mistakes that he made and would consider a return as he has learned nothing is personal in wrestling. He mentioned that several of his issues with WWE took place as he was going through a divorce, which put him into a depression. There is no word on if WWE would be interested in having him back, possibly due to El Patron’s ex-fiance Paige working for the company. The two of them have accused each other of domest..

WWE RUMOR: Wacky New Pairing Coming In NXT

Get it on the books. Having the right name is one of the most important things a wrestler can do. If someone gets stuck with a name that does not work for them for one reason or another, it can almost ruin anything that they are going to be able to do. This holds up for both singles wrestlers and tag teams, and now a new NXT pairing might have a rather specific name of their own. According to Sportskeeda.com, WWE has filed a trademark for the team name “In-Dex”. While not confirmed, this would seem to be for the combination of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis, who have been paired together in NXT. Hartwell has a crush on Lumis, who carried her away from the ring during an eight person tag earlier this month. Lumis has seemed to show feelings for Hartwell, but has still said nothing. Hartwell’s feelings for Lumis have also caused a riff in the Way, as the rest of the team, including Johnny Gargano in particular, do not care for Lumis. This comes after Hartwell left an eight person tag w..

What Does “Angry Miz Girl” Think About His Recent Title Win?

One of the most infamous professional wrestling fans of all time is Caley, who is better known as “Angry Miz Girl”. This fan was visually upset in 2010 when The Miz won his first WWE Championship and was not afraid to show off her displeasure. Somewhere, #AngryMizGirl pouts again. #WWEChamber @mikethemiz pic.twitter.com/0BOPl8pcpR — WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) February 22, 2021 But what does Caley think about the idea that he is once again the WWE Champion? She recently spoke with Abhilash Mendhe of Sportskeeda and had the following to say regarding the title change: “I personally think he’s one of the best on the roster, I know it’s a big change from my opinion 10 years ago but I love him when he’s a heel champion, I think he’s got the personality for it down to a T.” “I loved meeting The Miz and he was always super kind to me and he worked super hard, so I definitely think he deserves it.” Her reaction earned her a Slammy back in 2010: [This post contains video, click to play..

Bayley vs. Sasha Banks II Gets Surprising Result And Marks Milestone

That’s a good way to go out. There have been very few stories this year that have been on the same level as Bayley vs. Sasha Banks. The two have been involved together for well over a year now, which has included both teaming together and feuding against each other, with Banks ending Bayley’s record setting SmackDown Women’s Title reign. Now we know something about the feud and it comes with some good news. Back at Hell In A Cell, Banks defeated Bayley to win the SmackDown Women’s Title for the first time. The win ended Bayley’s reign at over a year, far exceeding any previous records. It was a big moment and took place inside the Cell to make it feel even more important. Banks became a star all over again and it was no surprise that a rematch took place. As it turns out, the rematch both succeeded and served as a final chapter. According to SportsKeeda.com, the Bayley vs. Banks rematch on the November 6 SmackDown drew over 2.5 million viewers, which is the highest number that WWE ha..

Vince McMahon Told A Wrestler To Not Be Funny Or Entertaining

It’s certainly advice. While some people might not be the biggest fans of the man, there is no denying that Vince McMahon has produced a lot of great wrestling ideas. He has managed to succeed in a lot of different areas of wrestling and made a fortune doing so. There are certain things he does though which might not work out so well, and one of those involved a wrestler who looked ready to break through to the main event. Debuting back in 2005, Ken Anderson, then known as Mr. Kennedy, seemed like he was going to be a breakout star. There was something about him that made you want to watch and it was hard to look away from him. An injury caused him to miss the biggest break of his career when he was scheduled to become McMahon’s on-screen son, but nothing ever came of it. McMahon had some interesting thoughts on Anderson, which he let him know right off the bat. Anderson was a guest on SportsKeeda’s UnSKripted where he spoke about advice that McMahon gave him. Upon debuting, Anderson..

Erick Rowan Reveals Bizarre Pitch For WWE Cage Angle

It might have been better. There are a lot of angles that come and go in wrestling with some of them having better results than others. You never know what you might see in the big payoff, because wrestling companies, including WWE, are going to be able to come up with some completely out there endings. That was the case with an angle earlier this year, but it was originally going to be completely different, and maybe in a better way. Back in November 2019, Erick Rowan started carrying around a cage. There was something inside of the cage, but no one but Rowan was allowed to know what it was. Every now and then, Rowan would allow someone to see what it was and they were all terrified of what was going on. Whatever it was would bite anyone who came near it, including Rowan. It became a story where something had to be in there, and eventually it was revealed. Things could have been very, very different. Rowan, now known as Erick Redbeard, was interviewed by Sportskeeda.com and revealed..
