Occasionally someone will quietly slip away from the company and that seems to be the case again with an international star. Sarray signed with WWE in 2020 but her debut was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. She appeared infrequently on NXT and was eventually repackaged into an anime inspired character who transformed with a magical necklace. It had to happen at some point. Wrestling is a weird sport in that while wins and losses matter, the results are planned in advance. What makes it more interesting is that fans can get behind the idea of a wrestler winning over and over, as it makes them seem like a bigger star. Every wrestler has to lose at some point though, and now one of the winning streaks has been broken. He’s back. The biggest wrestling story of the year has been the return of Vince McMahon to WWE, following a six month absence. McMahon is back to facilitate a sale of the company, though it has led to wonder about whether he will rejoin the creative team. While there is nothing to suggest that he has done it so far, McMahon did do something this week that he has not done since his return. Jay revealed on her Twitter that she has suffered dislocated ribs as a result of the landing.
